@@frosconso7116 Angstrom can literally make a portal under Mark when he falls on his back at 2:13. Or better yet, at 1:03 when Mark is flying in to fight Maulers, create a portal in front of him so that his momentum carries him through. Just cuz Mark can fly, doesn't mean he couldn't avoid a sudden portal my guy
@slacker3690 that's really valid, he could have used those moments. I'm not sure how easy or hard it is to predict the right moment and second to place a portal though, considering he doesn't know Mark's movement and attacks in advance. You're still right though. Maybe he panicked and didn't think of it. He was connected to a gigantic mind fusion machine after all.
Angstrom should have realized that in most universes, Invincible agreed to help Omni Man take over Earth, so in those universes, Mark probably did a lot of horrible things to the people there, so it should have been obvious that those Maulers wanted revenge. Edit: I just noticed that even the Maulers of our universe weren’t even beating Mark to death
Angstrom could've just went to Mark and the other heroes showed theme what he wanted to do than relay on his own ideals than going with His prime plan as his Actions did more harm than good to himself
@@dre4534That comment he made is nothing special. Rick Sanchez made that same analogy where he made an alien friend who was a shy pooper. That friend died and he proceeds to tell the friend father that he is sorry for his loss. He then try to justify the death of his son by saying that there is a universe where he is evil and proceed to tell the father that maybe he shouldn’t care more or less.
@@SpokeNyan1390 To me it was pretty significant because I didn’t realize at the time why the Maulers were being so aggressive towards Mark. Now it makes sense that they were out for blood.
To me, the big takeaway from this scene is how Mark decides to fight. If Invincible took time to observe the area more closely, he might’ve found Angstrom’s goals to align with his own. Viltrumites aren’t infallible, they don’t have genius intellect or super-senses, they can’t determine if someone is lying, and they don’t see the world from a non-individual perspective. They may be superpowered, but their sentience is as flawed as anyones. Just like humans, they aren’t invulnerable to ignorance or mistakes, and it’s because of this we see Mark do something that risks humanity’s well being.
Angstorm mistake was bringing multiple mauler twins instead of 2 mauler to help the original restrain invincible until the mind transfer complete, or atleast he explain what he was doing and persuade invincible to stand down for a while until the process complete.
