Yeah 🥺 first week was awful. i felt like i made a bad decision with taking treatment. furthermore fourth night i gave up and took off the invisalign. after breakfast i thought its gonna be worse if i loose the money that i paid, so i started to using again
Youre right, its not like those easy breezy cool quick and easy things they show on commercials. This stuff is for REAL. And the pain and discomfort is REAL. If you can make it thru the first week, you will be good to go. You CAN feel a bit of low pain along your jaw and your teeth will be sensitive. Nothing to painful but just keep some Tylenol handy and it will get better real soon!! And it actually starts feeling better with the trays IN , then taking them out.
omg Thank you for this video! I get Invisalign in 3 days and will also have attachments on my front teeth (actually, pretty much all of them). It's so nice to watch a positive video because I have been so nervous!
That totally makes sense! I felt the same exact way. The first day or so is the hardest, but I promise it gets better from there. Best wishes to you!! 💕
Started 2 weeks ago . Painful painful painful . Stressing myself out hoping for the best but, trusting the process is key *2 trays down 21 trays to go * 🤞🏾
The First Invisalign placement hurt that bad for me, the following trays were painful but I had it still and now I'm on my 24th tray suddenly so painful that I can't even brush my teeth using an electric brush ouch 😢
I am supposed to keep them in 23 hours a day and you're right -- it hurts to take them out. I eat once or twice a day. When I do take them out I eat applesauce, scrambled eggs etc.... I can drink coffee and my normal beverages... but only 1 hour to eat and brush doesn't leave much time, so I hope I can lose weight!
I started Oct 21th. I just put in my 4th tray tonight. I experienced no pain at all. I’m thinking maybe later down the line I may have pain but so far so good.
That’s amazing, Rolanda! So glad you have not experienced any pain. I hope it continues to be a smooth journey for you and fingers crossed, no pain down the line either!
Just started my first tray (9 total, so my treatment may be short)..... it hurts to take then out....I hoping to lose weight.... the bumps/buttons on my teeth have been tricky to get used to. I had braces decades ago so this isn't completely foreign to me but it is taking some time to get used to.
Used to have fixed bracea before. Like 15 years or so. Now Invisalign because teefies moves a little. From my experience invisalign hurts and it sucks but braces sucked so much more 😂 everytime something falls of and you have small open wounds all the time because of the metal
I've had Invisalign for a year. Now on my refinements. I didn't lose weight. Wish I did. Haha. I'm a little upset on how long it really is taking. Everyone's teeth moves differently.
i got mine in june this year.. like i know it will hurt. but didnt know it will hurt this much. I was crying the first time trying to put it in and getting it out. so painful. I have an overbite so the angle to go in was tricky. it took me an entire day to get use to putting in and taking out. gosh. my gums hurt. my teeth hurt. its painful for 3-4 days each time i change a tray. i lost the interests to eat T_T
I have braces for second time to fix a problem with breaking teeth. I anticipated the hassles with Invisalign so I just got metal. No one looks at an old guy like me anyway.
For me the shock was thinking everyones gonna see them due to the attachments, im 8 weeks in and on purpose told no one at work that im getting them, not a single person has said anything, i think its more in our own heads about noticing them as it must be hard
That’s so true! Glad I wasn’t the only one. I was SO sure people would notice and like…judge me or something? I don’t know. It was silly 😅. They definitely aren’t noticeable like we think they are at first.
I'm on my third set of trays and it's only now that I'm actually feeling them put pressure on my teeth. So far I haven't had any pain or discomfort. I've been worried that they're not actually doing anything.
It seems like everyone’s experience can be different depending on your situation. Glad you haven’t been in a lot of pain! Pressure sounds good though, like your teeth are shifting. Best wishes to you 🤗
it depends on your own teeth becuz mine don't hurt at all and never did hurt. I think u should just Speak for your own case and not tell everyone it hurt becuz it don't mine are very comfortable. Everyone case are different and have different pain tolerance and yours seem very low. Your Discouraging people smh and your teeth are very crooked so that's why your in a lot of pain
Well, I’m having the same experience as her, and I wish I would’ve done braces. Every case is different but people always overhyped these which is why I got them, thinking it was going to be easier. It turns out, that I have to brush everytime I eat, clean them, I cant have a snack and Im hungry all the time. This sht sucks, and my attachments are the worst… ✌🏻 So just because you had a good experience doesn’t mean others do too. ✌🏻
