I think that a better way to include cameos that make sense is to have the original voice actors for Kim and Ron play Kim's parents. The Nostalgia Critic even talked about this possibility in his review of this movie

In the show: Kim is confident, strong, bad-ass, smart and agile. Here: She cries a lot, do flips for no reasons, is affraid of eels and jealous of Athena. This girl is just a cosplayer who thinks she's Kim possible, not the real one.

FINALLY! Someone who also think that Kim Possible is the best Disney Animated Show ever (next to Gravity Falls and Phineas And Ferb (honestly Dr Doofenshmirtz and Parry's stuff is really a sucessor to Kim Possible)

The problem with the theory is that we see newspapers that actually show headlines with Kim Possible’s name in them (11:12 for example) as well as the video of her in the eel tank IN the lab being posted by Drakken. So we know she is actually out there being a hero.

12:50 Kim’s dad went to college with draken and makes jokes about how he’s BLUE! Same with shego THEY ALWAYS JOKE ABOUT HER FIRE HANDS AND HOW SHES GREEN!!! This remake is no fuego

Nah, I'd have rather seen her college days but Disney doesn't market their shows to people that old. Whatever they would've made would probably have been too formulaic. They should've left it alone and had a Kim Possible re-run special. They'd have wasted far less money.

The creators actually did have a script for a live action Kim Possible movie but that was turned into So The Drama arguably one of (if not the) best DCOM.

You're probably the best Nostalgia Critic copy-cat I've seen to date. Not entirely sure if that's an insult or a compliment at the moment, only time will tell I guess. At least you're not doing reviews with god-awful skits or trying to review movies that are still in theaters that are nothing but skits. Just keep doing your thing... or Doug's thing... or... Whatever, you know what I mean.

The action in this remake is slow and boring, like the one in the live Avatar movie. It took hours to make cool moves with the elements plus the fire nation guards have to use fire from lanterns and other sources... which is stupid. They could create it on their own in the show. Why using items to move the fire? Making it appear is enough! I find this change really dumb, didn't like it :S That and the '' emotions '' of the characters who have completely differents personalities, the rushed '' romance '' between Sokka and the moon princess, the useless narration.
