You also skipped over how Terminator 3 totally ignores the timeline of the previous 2 movies. John Connor was supposed to be 10 years old in T2. In T3 John Connor says the T1000 came after him when he was 13 which for that to be true would've meant T2 took place in 1998 I don't remember if John Connor's age is ever given in T3 but the character should be 19 in 2004. John Connor is seen drinking a beer in the beginning suggesting he is at least 21. Kate Brewster is roughly the same age as John Connor however she is a veterinarian which requires several years of post high school education usually 7-9 years (I looked it up), there is also a discrepancy in Sarah Connor's age, in T2 Dr Silberman describes Sarah as 29 year old female which means her year of birth should be either 1965 or 66. However in T3 when they raid the weapons cache disguised as Sarah's grave it lists her year of birth as 1959. Whoever wrote the movie just didn't even bother to check to see if there was an established timeline or didn't give a shit. Even though Arnold was in Genesys it is my understanding it was supposed to be a remake of the original and was intended to kick off a new trilogy but when it failed the rights went back to James Cameron and he made Dark Fate which only acknowledges the first 2 Terminator movies.
The floor show scene is probably one of my biggest grievances with this movie. Rose Tint my World is easily one of my favourite songs in the original, but here it just feels so much less sexy. The outfits kinda suck and Brad's part, which was by far the best part of the whole song, doesn't even make sense, because his whole thing in that song was that he was trying to get his head around the possibility of being bisexual, but that's not a thing in this movie because all he's done is have sex with a woman who wasn't Janet.
FINALLY! Someone who also think that Kim Possible is the best Disney Animated Show ever (next to Gravity Falls and Phineas And Ferb (honestly Dr Doofenshmirtz and Parry's stuff is really a sucessor to Kim Possible)
if you want to see how a true live action Jem and the holograms movie done correctly compared to this garbage then check out truly outrageous a fan film where Jem is played by Chloe Dykstra and all the characters are done correctly and look the way they are supposed to. Jon Chu does not how to direct at all.

There’s so many issues with this film. But the issue with the mortgage and money is the dumbest. The contracts in the film all sound like they were written by someone whose never read nor heard of a contract, and the solution to their problem should have been a no brainer. Just hit the monetize button on your viral video. YT may not pay a ton, but it pays something, especially if you have a viral video. Certainly should be enough to keep the debt collectors at bay for another half month until you get paid from your 3 stage appearance deal (which is not even in the realm of a real deal or wage agreement or contract). - Between Aja the hacker and Kimber the person who lives online, you’d think they could figure out a single button press.
There's a flaw because you said that the t 1000 was upgraded due to the fact that it could mimic humans voices, but in terminator 2 the t 800 mimics johns voice to the t 1000 to ask about the dog verifying John's foster parents were dead.
Janet and Brad in the original: Are scared, curious, angry, happy. Real characters! In the remake: Both have no personality. They are as interresting as a brick wall. Nice way to start the movie, first the lips at the end of the song and now this 🙄
The T-1000 in 1984 is the same one sent back to 1973. It was waiting for Kyle because it intended on copying him. Since it lost track of Sarah in 1973 it waited till 1984 to copy Kyle in an attempt to infiltrate him and kill Sarah, with her thinking it was the real Kyle.
Ralph let a virus who almost destroys internet AND killed a lot of innocents peoples to keep one of his friends? Wow he's really selfish! Not only what he did was cruel but he didn't spend time with Felix, Qubert and his other friends. What a jerk 😤The big guy never appologise for this or was ashamed of himself. My bible says "Showtime Synergy" hand written by Christie Marx and is my most prized possession. Hubby got it for me a couple of years ago. He also managed to talk me into watching the movie a couple of weeks ago and I tutted so loudly at so much stuff and afterwards my eye balls hurt from rolling them so much
@@EverythingJem I didn’t watch Jem that much as a kid, my sisters did, but I watched it with them as an adult, and yeah, it’s actually a pretty good show. Maybe not every episode, but most of them are pretty good. And there’s only a couple other shows I can even point at at the time that had a story that continued forward each episode. And that movie isn’t even remotely the same thing as Jem. No idea what that was even supposed to be, but judging from the director’s accreditations being basically just Justin Bieber documentaries…. I guess that’s what it was supposed to be. It was originally called Becoming Famous, and it was going to be about RU-vidrs rising to stardom, which is why there’s random YT clips everywhere. Then someone decided to just throw Jem in after a while, some executive somewhere. Yeah, it would’ve been boring either way, but it’s a big disrespect to the fanbase.
I'm 99% sure Ryan McCartan was acting bad on purpose just to have fun with it lol. He made the movie the tiny tiniest bit bearable with how much he made fun of it (as well as Tim Curry just existing)
The original movie holds such a deep place in my heart, even when my first introduction to it was my dad showing it to me when I was 10 cause he thought I Would like it (cause theatre kid) I was traumatized. But now I love it
"This movies features millenials" The oldest millenials would be in their 30's in 2015. I don't think millennials were the target audience, it looks like it was aimed at teens, so Gen Z. Again millennials may have grown up with it or caught reruns and would be familiar with it. Gen Z wouldn't have been familiar with it. So the lack of anything connected to the cartoon makes me think they are going for the Gen Z crowd
It was originally a different movie. They just slapped Jem on it after the fact. That’s why all the random RU-vid videos amen appearances is because of the original script being rewrote into this film. It was just another Justin Bieber movie, just like the two that the director did before, where people become viral from YT. Why anyone thought that would make a good Jem movie is anyone’s guess. Not sure there was a target audience to be honest. No idea what anyone was thinking in this project.
Entertaining video, but your conclusions are confusin’. Are you saying a satire can’t be a legitimately good film? What’s the distinction? Also gotta disagree that this is “so bad it’s good.” It’s a 100% competent film that hits its targets. It’s just good. Maybe not great, but it knows what it’s doing. Contrary to what you state, self-awareness is what’s necessarily lacking from so bad it’s good films. It’s why Tommy Wiseau can’t recreate the malformed but beguiling madness of The Room, or why the Birdemic sequels lost their magic-being in on the joke removed the car wreck appeal of the original. But 100% agree the music slaps. For more cinematic prognostication on the warped dynamics of mass media, A Face in the Crowd is a classic which also highlights a big machine console that’s used to manipulate the masses. Thanks!
