Welcome back to part 2! I wake up early to the soothing mist and calming nature sounds of Thailand. After a fantastic night's sleep in the Imagine retreat room, it's time to start the day with a delicious breakfast! Ya whips up some amazing scrambled eggs, and then it's time for our morning meditation session. Ya likes to meditate for at least 10 minutes every morning, and it's so relaxing.
Next, I get to learn all about growing fruit in Thailand-so cool! And to top it all off, I get a free professional photoshoot in Ya's studio. It's been an incredible 24 hours at the Nowhere Art Retreat. I can't wait to return.

@walkaboutWayne what a way to start the day in Thailand. You’ve got to get into the meditation Wayne. And living next to students??? Noway!!!! I wanted to send you a photograph and a place to eat which is a little bit different to the usual Thai places and it’s hidden away... Where I’m staying in CHIANG Phuak, I see some rooms are available and really good prices as well. Aircon and really peaceful. If you have not been in this area it’s really nice and Vibey - not Nimman don’t worry 😅💫😵‍💫 I’m leaving for Krabi in three weeks, first Malaysia. If you dnt end up staying with this lovely lady, get in contact friend! My partner watches you all the time and misses Thailand!

@@Skye1ify Lots of vlogs on Chang Phuak on my channel buddy. It's a cool area but still to touristy for me. Still to close to Santitham and Nimman. Nothing wrong with it though, I'm in Chang Phuak at least a couple times a week. Loads of students in that area too. Have a good time in Malaysia and Krabi buddy and thanks for watching.

@@WalkAboutWayne hey ! I’m a woman! 😂😂 I meant I wouldn’t live right next to loud students . Anyway, you HAVE to HAVE To go to Bliss house Wayne. Three young Chinese girls invite farangs into their home , make a full vegetarian spread. Delicious, at no cost 🙈 and teach meditation. One of the best meditation teachings and I’ve been to many in my life. I have a feeling you will be thought by your new lady friend though which is also great 😊

Thanks for the video Wayne, you had a very peaceful and lovely stay at Ya's, but it's time to move on for more great adventures! Having one of those small houses would be great to have for a home base from which to travel where the wind blows you! I hope you can return to see Ya in the near future! She's an amazing woman, a very nice friend to have! Take care, and take it easy!

I lived in ChangRai for 10 years until 2010,I loved it there in a place called Phan,your vidoe was very nice.W need more videos like that from RU-vidrs instead of Bar girls in Pattaya and Bangkok.

Ya seems to be a wonderful host. And she har a really hidden gem there. You are perfectly right, Wayne. Thailand isn't for everyone. Isaan or the northern Thailand definitely isn't for everyone. But I prefer to live in the northern part and have some short vacations at the beaches in Hua Hin, Koh Chang or Pattaya/ Jomtien.

Great Vlog Wayne. Ya and her dad have been busy and have done a great job developing the plot. Looks a fab place to stay, might have a night there with Mrs F when we head up to Chiang Mai on our visit later this year.

Good on you for meditating mate! I do it everyday, what you experienced is very normal, its called monkey mind. As you do more your mind will get quieter and quieter. It will change your life!

Travelling these roads remind me of the country lanes in Sussex and around Somerset . They say home is where the heart is . Enjoyed this 2 part episode. Looks like a nice place to stay .

I don't meditate, but I have long believed that this type of Eastern philosophy is superior, in many respects, to what is taught in the West. Just the simple act of finding peace as the sun rises is a preparation rarely taken in this part of the world.
