He may be trapped in Foulfell but he finally did defy death like he said, he brought back Filomena. In comparison to the hell he lived for a thousand years without her being alive, foulfell must not be so bad. He even smirked at the end.
goddess selemene was the lesser version in invokers world, but in the one he created, his ideal of her was living and dying as the strongest version of herself(or at least what i can interpret from the daughter viewing her as a mortal, and a mother)
Everything we love is going to die and we can't do anything to stop it; but as long as what we love lives: every moment we share with what we love is a miracle. And only the tragedy of the poet who wants to stop each moment in eternity remains. It is a useless, but human passion: trying to stop the unstoppable.
I don’t understand… Invoker stood toe to toe with gods and primordials, created and destroyed 12000+ universes, can break through dimensions, but he can’t resurrect his daughter? Do elves have no soul? Or is Filomena fated to die in all realities?
Why is he obsessed. It's just his daughter not worth destroying universe. I know she's important to him but too little and I think he only cares about himself. It's only an obsession not love.
- Mirana: Why? + Invoker: "I think you of all people would understand, Your Majesty, what do we owe to those we love, and the ones we lost..." Invoker - season 3
