The biggest thing for me would be the ability to integrate my very own textures into any part of the game. Other than that, I am hoping for a tool or a way to integrate my own furniture meshes into the game :)
Same here! Base game seems to be coming with loads of content, but I’m guessing they’ll be wanting to add more in the future with some form of DLC, but I’m with you… Hope it’s nothing like EA which has gotten out of hand expensive. I try not to think about how much I’ve spent on the Sims 4. 😳
Yeah that kills the fun. I mean I understand a few dlcs but they have turned everything free on sims 2 to payable in sims 4. Very unethical and shrewd mindset.
Of course they will add DLC, advertisement/product placement and whatnot , Koreans won't enter the market if there's no plenty of profit, why are yaw so naive
The game is so pretty and looking good on even technicalities so far as well. I feel like we're finally getting the simulation game we have been dreaming about.
I'm so stoked for this game. Thank you for this amazing build mode showcase compilation video. I'm currently at 120gb of CC for the Sims 4, and this still looks more impressive than what the Sims 4 offers.
Thank you for the lovely comment! I’m with you in that I’m blown away with all the content we will be receiving in base game. And they’ve only shared a little of it with us so far. Can’t wait to see what else they share.
@SugarZoi I also love how open they are to discussing things with the future player base. From what features are most desirable, how best to tackle problems, what players care about, concerns from players vs modders etc. It's a refreshing approach that EA certainly doesn't seem to follow, only preferring to use a select section of the (very talented) Sims 4 community. Excited to see more of this game.
This is suuuper random but I would to have the ability to open and close curtains. It's such a small detail but I feel like it would change alot for me😂
Building and everything around it is fine, but the biggest problem is the mutual relationships and reactions to each other. I would really like this to be as perfect as this is. Not like in sims 4 where I have to constantly chase someone to create a relationship. They should show some feelings for my character automatically according by some attraction pattern. I hope they don't flirt with everyone, even with pensioners :o It's also terrible when friends or even partners pass each other on the streets or in public places, they don't even say hello, they don't react at all, that's wrong. That life is realistic not only in appearance, but also in the behavior of the characters. I hope we will see this too.
My next video goes a bit into relationship dynamics. We don’t know everything about it yet, but the devs have said it will be more complex than the Sims 4. I hope it’s as full as what you described. That would be my ideal life sim, too. At the very least, I’m confident it will be more dynamic than Sims.
For the greeting each other point, I'm sure the game demo shows two students greeting each other. From the same demo, they seem to be working on... atleast the relationship animations... lol
Just found you, and I can't wait for this game! I've been following progress off and on since it was alpha tested by a few lucky people (wish I was one!). I'm excited to see what they have in store. I'm into building but also more into interior design, so I'm glad there's a color wheel bc I need to customize.
I’m glad to have you aboard! 😁 I much prefer decorating a house than building. I’m hoping we get a ton of talented builders to upload their creations to Canvas for the rest of us. 😅
Hopefully, it runs well on most of our PCs and has minimum bugs. I keep seeing low FPS in all the videos. Looks like a fun game to let your creativity run wild in your free time, though.
I hope so, too. They are still optimizing the game. I also wouldn't expect 100% bug free with early access, though they have shared some concerns and bugs with us already that they are working on. It will only get better with time and I have confidence in the director as this game seems like a passion project for him. I hope he never leaves this game.
Do you mean the grid? I guess functionally there needs to be some structure to build upon. If you are referring to furniture, you can place anywhere you want by holding down shift when placing.
