I have been asking Apple for this one feature for years now, and they still refuse to implement it and every technician that I’ve spoken to agrees 100% at Apple. all I want to do is create a folder in photos, and when I move that photo from the main group of photos, it doesn’t leave an additional photograph there. It just moves it to the new folder.
So I figured out some of these things on my own but I knew there was more to this update and your video definitely helped me. I’ve just gotten more and more speechless with all of the cool features IOS 16 has to offer. It’s absolutely amazing and just makes life so much easier!
I’m testing out the haptic feedback while typing. It actually feels kind of nice and cool. I think I’ll play around with it a little while longer. Thanks!
Thanks for that. But I still wait for the MAIN feature...a splitt of the ringtone volume and alarm volume....I have an iPhone 12 PRO and the alarm sound is way to loud, even I tryed everything...it pisses me so off...
@@ybw9670 haha…ok. I mean so many people asked for a solution and I don’t understand why Apple don’t fix this problem. It would be so easy. I use my own music and I have it on the lowest level. But I have to put a towel on my phone as well to reduce the volume 😒
Great description of the new functions, thank you. My favourite for fun is the photo clipping tool, and for productivity I really like the smart not feature and template in reminder, oh and I also love that you could change the date to a widget in the wallpaper, thanks again
The multi stops in Apple Maps is by far my favorite and LONG overdo. Now that we can schedule emails in the native app, any bets on how long before we can schedule text messages?

#1 sound and haptics. Quite funny, before the first iPhone was released I had a Samsung touch screen, my first touch screen. A friend had the iPhone, I asked him, “can you feel the keys when you type” “no” he said. Hmm… that sucks, fast forward 15 years, LOL
Okay this keyboatd hectic thingy is truly amaizng. I was wishing to have blackberry back because i could write without looking and ao fast that people wouldve been impressed! With that speed of typing when i turned to apple. Everytime due to my fast writing and looking at the text instead of the keys would lead me to have 1000 mis correct words! But now with this hectic i feel like i get the feeling of real physical buttons which is getting my blackberry vibes back!
At first I didn’t want the IOS 16 but after seeing all these new things, especially the typing hectic and all the iMessage updates, this is actually a cool update, idk how they got the photos thing to work but jeez 😵💫
Well done tutorial. I did have to go into settings under messages to remove the filter to be able to use the unsend message feature. Maybe do a deeper dive into some of those needed steps so that these awesome features will be able to be used. Overall I found this to be really helpful!
Since doing this, ‘up’grade my phone overheats, takes AAAAGES to charge and the battery lasts about 2 seconds. What an improvement Apple, brilliant as ever these days!!! 🤬😡🤬😡
Also, The battery percentage feature is back. Not on all models. I have an iPhone 13 PRO and if you go to battery settings, it's at the very top. I know it's available on the 11 pro but not the 11 for example. EDIT: iOS 16.1 (currently in beta) will have the batter percentage option for all face ID phones (the ones with the top notch) once released.
Thanks! I have the regular iPhone 14 with iOS 16.0.1 and the battery settings let me bring back the percentage. I’ve missed this feature for a long time! I didn’t like having to swipe down to see that percentage.
Great features. I am still waiting on the feature were I can delay a text message. Example: I want to send a text message out at around let’s say 9:00am but it’s 7:00am. I want to be able to send that text at 9:00am even if I forget to send it. I remember that I had that feature on Android phones back in the days. But on IPhones I can’t do it. I think for supervisors or managers who work with a crew it will be exceptional to send out group texts ahead of time even tho they won’t receive it until the time I want them to be sent. Just saying…
i made a shortcut that allows me to send a text at a certain time! it works pretty well if I want to text someone later on in the day it will schedule it for the set time I choose! I can help u set it up if u would like
the translate feature would have been really helpful when i was in greece this summer. i found myself struggling to read ingredients and menus cause they are all in greek… obviously… and i have celiac so it’s important to know. but with the photo translate i could’ve know fairly quickly🤔

Probably, the best new option is possibility to recall e-mail and messages. Microsoft office have e-mail recall options long time ago, so Apple to catch the momentum 🙂
Apple is literally just barely catching up to Samsung with every update. The fact that you're so excited about the "haptic keyboard" is ridiculous to any Samsung owner. But to be fair, iPhones do have some cool features and they do work very well.
I would like to know whether all those features work on all iPhones that can install iOS 16, my iPhone X can’t remove a photo from its background and put it somewhere
I’ve had an old iPhone 6s forever (no more iOS updates 😢) and just upgraded to an iPhone SE 2nd gen. Not only is it way faster, but haptic feedback on the keyboard is so satisfying! I didn’t really like the sounds and it didn’t feel as immersive.
You would think for paying over $1k for a phone , it would come with a manual , every product I buy has a manual , but Apple doesn't seem to care if customers knows all of the functions or not !!
