Seems like the customization of icons in home screen is weirdly a wallpaper bug. I had the same issue, but after I changed my wallpaper from my wallpaper gallery, that fixed it.
Nope, not in CC, but in mine privacy issue. Where "Photos" App is FaceID authenticated by still photos from "Photos" App is accessible in 3rd Party Apps like WhatsApp without FaceID authentication.

I am running ios 17.1 on my 15 pro max and whenever I am watching a RU-vid video in landscape mode after a commercial the screen automatically minimize itself and the video ends up in the left upper corner of my screen very small which is so annoying
Yes, I have the same problem on You Tube, although I last updated the You Tube App store as well, it's still a tiny screen, in the upper left corner and the rest of the screen is black, then I have to turn the iphone again and turn it back to landscape mode and then it's back to full to see the video, I have been like this for several weeks. I have a feeling that it's RU-vid's own fault!
I got two issues with beat 3 Emoji button on keyboard doesn’t work. If I type the the word of the emoji I want I can use the text suggestion with the emoji shown. 2nd issue is RANDOMLY my music gets muted with my AirPods
After update the Beta 3, my emoji has been reset. But when I tried search the emoji that I want, it was there. All my emoji that I always used was on the search.
Which IOS 18 beta do you think it would be stable enough to use on a main device? I have IOS 18 betas on my back up phone (13 Pro Max) and 17.6 on my 15 Pro Max
I wish Apple actually posted about these serious issues on their social media channels or send the users a mail or message. It sucks that we the users have to go and research about it and find it through third party websites/ blogs or RU-vid channels. Which I must mention am truly grateful for, but it sucks they don’t communicate this directly even when the situation is so grave.
Had the same problem once I powered my phone off and turned it back on I started getting notifications again you can try that and see if it works for you

@@zollotechyou are correct on this one since it’s about the security risk. Full disclosure I replied before the video finished. I do really like the level of detail you put in your videos. Have noticed some tittles though that seem to be more geared to eye catching.
The only issue I’m having with beta 3 is the quality of pro raw images. They take a long time to load in the photos app, and even when they do, they’re not sharp. It’s like nothing is actually in focus. Anyone else have that issue?
The health app keeps crashing for me and my sound keeps going extremely quiet and I have to manually switch it from the handset mode to the speakers. Even when I switch it sounds like 20% even though it’s at 100%
Closing out of a photo using the ‘X’ button doesn’t work, I have to manually close out of the Photos app. Also, while watching RU-vid videos or a movie if anyone says the word theory, Siri starts. Never happened until 18B3.
After installing iOS 18 Public Beta I immediately get the issue with Screen Time. And there's no way to fix it, even after doing restart it's not working. It kept on crashing every time I try to open it.
I have a major issue with the camera app on the iPhone 15 Pro Max (iOS 18 beta 3), all photos are in low quality and the error message reads “An Error Occurred While Loading a Higher Quality Version of this”. The only way to fix this is to reopen the app.
You can fix the home screen bug by switching wallpapers. Select another wallpaper, customise the icons how u want then switch back to your original wallpaper. Bit of a workaround but that worked for me
Awesome video as always! Unfortunately I found out the hard way that my major bank does not recognize the mobile app it uses. I could not log in with my biometric enrollment or log in at all, when I called customer service the bank received an update that day that says the new beta program does not support the mobile app.
Public beta better freaking come out next week I hate to say it but getting impatient was hoping it come out by now but we can just hope all we can do I guess
i wonder what the vision pro will look like after hair, skin, dirt, and sweat grease, oil (all from a human ) will make the “experience” like? Potentially a facial petri dish? and the price will make it an expensive experiment! the next iteration should have removable straps and surrounds so you can wash the blessed thing

Siri is getting smarter, I don’t know when this is, but instead of only saying”here is what i found” and give a lot of list, it gives an information about the the actual question, and sometimes you can tell siri to read the website, i don’t know sometimes it says”this website isn’t made for me to read” or something like that
I had the alarm bug issue this morning too. Thankfully I still have an old fashioned alarm clock but if I didn’t I would have been late to work this morning. My control center has been working fine for me. The keyboard for me is still very laggy especially when typing quickly. And when controlling music, sometimes the music will continue to play, even after pressing pause or completely shutting down the music app. I had to turn the phone off to get it to stop. Though this only seems to happen when playing through the phone speakers. Using my AirPods or in my car does not cause this issue.
I really really just want google maps to fine track me in the background. Currently, even though all switches are on for tracking, it sometimes won't track at all, or just gives me straight lines between my destinations.
My personal device has not been heating up too much with beta three especially compared to the previous, but I am 100% experiencing problems with AirPod pros
Storage issue (system data taking up 180GB of 256gb STORAGE) has been fixed for me after I did a complete reset of my iPhone Xs while on iOS 18 DB2. Before that, lots of kernel panics, lots of reboots, slowing down of the system and general overhearting. Just upgraded to iOS 18 DB3 without any major issues.
VR in General is not a shareable technology. Here in Canada the vR headset is about $5,000 before taxes. making it about $5650! Way, way out off my price range any time this millennium. Next!!
Spotlight search was a fail for me after the initial update from 17 to 18 Beta 3 but after a reboot it is working just fine. Battery seems to be draining quickly.
