Thank youalways for your great videos. Where is the Camera Roll? I found it in the Camera App but can't see all the pictures or videos at once. Need to select one by one to delete them.
I look forward to most of the new features but I got to say that I’m not a big fan of the new photos app. I like having my albums in a separate tab from my main gallery. Having to always have to scroll down to find an album seems like it’s going to be very annoying when I have 18k photos on my phone and use and look through them very often
First of all I thought the photos redesign is terrible but I’m really getting used to it now. Take your time and just select the options that are useful for you and customize the order of it all. It’s pretty nice then.
I updated to iOS 18. I have an iPhone 15. Now when I try to edit a Photo it doesn’t give me the same options. I used to be able to add text to a photo and change the color and font of the text. Now I can’t figure out how to do that anymore. Thank you.
Could you tell if we have a camera roll album? This is much awaited. Recent option is not much good. In case someone take the phone to click pictures my screenshots are thr just an accidental swipe away.
I do not like the new changes on the Photos app because I like the old version of the iOS 17 and older version of the slideshow that you can select the music selection that is playing in the background in your videos now I don’t have this option no more and I hated it I want to not have the slideshow music playing, but now it looks like I don’t have the option no more.
@@nickwgash3760 well, my friend let me tell you why that might be an issue for me. I don’t have a computer to downgrade and second of all my device is running iOS 18 public beta six and it’s been running iOS 18 beta since September. Sorry I meant July any minute a cut down grade I think the only number was stop and then falsely asking me to upgrade to iOS 18 I believe the number would be 17.7.2 because I remember last year the last software update support +16.7.2
per apple’s own website: apple intelligence will be made available next month alongside ios 18.1 and additional features will be made available over the next few months
I made an ordered photos in my album for 4 years and this update messed up my order and I couldn’t find the specific photo out of 3000 of them. THANKS APPLE!!!!!
Thank you for the excellent video Aaron... just enough info for me to note the updates in their newer beta to decide iOS18 photos is not for me😅 My experience with the photos app in Beta was sooo bad that I had to downgrade back to iOS17. I regularly upgrade to beta iOS every year. This was the first time I can’t stand it and rolled back. Biggest problem is the removal of tabs. On iOS 17, I can tap the "Library" or "Albums" tab on the bottom to instantly jump to my newest photo. Can't seem to find the same on the new photos app. If anyone knows of how to do it on iOS18 photos please let me know. Another problem was I regularly look for photos that I need (stuff such as menus I’ve captured, furniture I had written measurements on etc, regular everyday stuff) and maybe compare them with a newer photo, by using BOTH the Library tab and the recents photos album tab at the same time. Can’t do this anymore since it’s now a combined one page design. All in all the new design is just really bad in terms of utility and this is the single biggest let down of iOS18 for me

Aaron do you know any solutions for battery drainage in ipad? I will cry my ipad battery is draining very fast & it’s draining even when I don’t use it after ios 18 beta Will it change when the official update comes?

At the 5:14 mark to identify things in a photo, mine has disappeared. Don’t know if it’s just me or if anyone else is experiencing this. I loved using the visual lookup feature.
I'm not upgrading from 14PM as I don't care about AI and all those features will take long to be polished and presented. Right before you know it, it's 17 series time.
Unfortunate to see Apple Intelligence only available for 15 Pro and M1 devices and higher. I was looking forward to keeping my 14 Pro for a few more years, but maybe I don't really need Apple Intelligence 🤷
when I click Battery in Setting under Insights and Suggestions I see a message “ Your iPhone has been used more than usual since upgrading iOS, which may affect battery life.” iPhone gaslighting me into believing it’s my fault 😅

Aaron hi i wonder if you could help me i had the iPhone 14 Pro Max for almost a year and gave it up in may 2024 with 98% battery health i got the iPhone 15 pro max i just checked my iPhone 15 pro max and within only 3 months I’ve lost 1% batter health with 66 charges is this normal? Should i report an issue to Apple i have never known a battery so poor in health. ( i have upload iOS 18 betas, and have had issues with MagSafe chargers) thank you for any help or advice
Still dont know why Duplicates section was removed on older model. Mine is ip13 and my friend is ip11 still have it on iOS17, but after updating to iOS18, it's gone. That's kind of very nice feature though.
@@zollotech Wow, it is just like you said. I've just updated to beta8 and finally saw it. I swear I didn't see it on older beta although I have some duplicate photos and tried to take some duplicate shot.
