LFG Xavier, glad to see he picked the Hawks to play for and he should be able to make an immediate impact next year, depending on if Jack Koerner and Riley Moss decide to come back he may very well be starting next year. Hopefully, Kaydn Proctor will follow him next year, both go to the same high school but Proctor is a 5 star OT 6'6" and 315 lbs as a Junior in High school, everyone will want him.
Good for Iowa. They will appreciate him more. If his goal is to stay home, then he picked the right place. However he will never win anything at Iowa so if he is expecting to be in a winning culture, well he didn't choose the right school.
As an Iowa fan, I can’t be upset at your claim, and I admit we don’t have the pedigree of osu or notre dame. Not that notre dame has won it in the past several decades that I can remember. 1991 maybe? Osu of course got it in 2014 and 2001. But I get your point. It’s great to see a kid want to stay home and play for the team he grew up rooting for though. Something I guess “romantic” about it for lack of better word lol. You never know though, look at Cincinnati this year. If they can get a crack at it, why not an Iowa? We need a lot more pieces offensively to ever make that happen though so we will see how things shake out I guess.
What do you mean iowa is great at developing dbs and usually wins big ten db of the year and we get a 5 star could easily be national db of the year now if you are talking about big ten Champs or even national Champs I understand but if your talking personal awards iowa could be the best for him
Winning a college football championship doesn't really increase your chances of going to the NFL, Iowa is tied for the 6th most active players on NFL rosters, and given most of the talent they recruit is 3 star with a few 4-star talent then it's a great place to go because at least in certain positions Iowa does well-developing talent. Xavier said it himself Iowa Db's do very well and win lots of awards in college so it's a great fit for him. He also might get a chance to start next year depending on what some of the senior db's at Iowa decide to do whereas one of those big-name schools he might not get much playing time for a few years when they've already recruited several 4-5 star db's almost every year.
@@hairtrigger8317 - Surprised with that Iowa stat. 1. Alabama 2. Ohio State 3. LSU (Major Gap After These 3) 4. Georgia 5. Notre Dame 6a. Clemson 6b. Iowa There is your Top 7 list for reference of most active players in the NFL and the schools they went too.
@@leakedclipsdaily It is kind of crazy when you really think about it but again it supports my claim that you don't have to win a championship to do well and make it at a school like Iowa. When Iowa is putting more players into the NFL than schools like USC, Michigan, Oregon, Oklahoma etc... but those schools do better in recruiting than Iowa in college based on star talent by a fair amount but it says something about Iowa's development of its players which should be a huge plus for most recruits looking at a school but sadly that's not something a lot look at if they did Iowa would actually be a championship caliber team if the top talent came here. Just my take on it at least.
