I hate listening to him talk to the media.. he obviously hates it and doesn't like what they stand for so he has an attitude with them constantly.. especially of they ask any real questions.. he just ignores or deflects

I’m a Hawks fan. I am a Tom and Terry Brands fan. Why didn’t Tom do or have to do a post match press conference after the Michigan loss?? Why didn’t Tom do or have to do one of the Penn State loss last year?? I think that’s garbage that he didn’t. He should have to be there for the good and bad. The Media and the Big 10 need to call him out on that nonsense.

This is such bullshit. To punish these kids is disgusting and unacceptable. They’ll are only doing this because wrestling and wrestlers don’t have the money to fight back. They aren’t doing this shit to basketball players or football players because those programs have unlimited funds. These kids should be allowed to wrestle the rest of the year, plus given an extra year of eligibility. And just for the record I’m a Penn state fan so don’t accuse me of any of that biased shit. What right is right and what’s wrong is wrong. Their rights were violated and people need to be held accountable. Just my respectful opinion…

Tom IN HIS MIND wants to lay liability on everyone but the guys that ACTUALLY GAMBLED. And these ppl asking questions ALWAYS seem afraid to stand up for themselves and ask hard hitting questions. Tom could have Superman’s and Batman waiting in the wings, and they couldn’t beat PSU. Lastly, why hasnt anyone covered the story of Terry applying for the UNC job, and not being considered for it.

The new AD needs to put Brands through some public relations classes to improve his media interactions and demeanor. Cut the theatrics and berating. Talk like a coach.

Wrestlers are the best at dealing with problems. He is just hoping his wrestlers can have a future. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. He is a coach. Not a lawyer or politician. We all make mistakes. His focus is on if they beat the system. I think gambling is dumb but these are young men. Hopefully they begin to learn why Jesus was flipping the money changers tables in the church

Why can't he answer the tough questions? Its like he wants to be interviewed but doesn't want to answer questions. He makes this too personal and withholds information - just be a good coach, tell us the updates, looking ahead, the truth, and whose competing/hurt. The truth will always come out, so no need to draw it out longer than necessary. Disgrace with how they're handling Keuter. One of the most sought after athletes and he's had 1 match. You'd think he'd be ready if he was THAT good but hes not because iowa doesn't know how to condition, instruct, and prime their wrestlers.

I think Iowa will beat penn soon he has some great talent on his team and that’s the only given in this life you never know what going to happen
