I believe that JD 6115 D is to be used on rough terrain powerline/ pipeline mowing. Tires most likely would not be good for skidding.

The skidding tractor is ready for the zombie apocalypse 🤣

Joel does a good job auctioning stuff and he's a good guy. But hes to good lol he attracts people from around the world lol that have way more spending money than me.

Hey Gary, that was a big auction. I could make wood with that John Deere lol. The only problem with turning a farm tractor into a skidder is that the components on a tractor are not made like a real skidder. They are so much heavier on a real skidder. What happens is the operator running the tractor thinks they are using a real skidder and things start to break. I see it all the time. Lots of nice tractors there. Thanks for sharing

I've been wanting to go to one of these auctions for a while. Looks like a lot of fun. I think I need a log cage like the one on the 6115d!

Nice equipment!! Keep in mind, that 6030 really wasn't made for a soundguard cab... There was just a little too much difference between open station and the cabbed version. Nice forestry setup, seen them in magazines and video.. Thank you Gary!

That 6115 was a mowing tractor. Probably ran a brown tree cutter mower
