We are using the iPad with Hik-connect App in a guardhouse
to control mainly two features (added to the main screens)
1. Audio warnings from the guardhouse via the camera's audio out.
2. PTZ functionality
This is currently the simplest way to provide untrained CCTV staff
the ability to make audio warning calls through the cameras on the perimeter.
They all understand the basics of working with an App (touch screen)
It is easy to lock the App, to prevent misuse (like internet, games, etc.)
