@pooriakhosravi9415 No, it's not. It's bad for gaming because it's too big to hold comfortably, and it's not great for youtube. RU-vid is way better on a tv. If you want something mobile, just use your phone or laptop.
@@srepinS as someone who has all ipad is easily the best for content consumption in bed. mobile is just too small. Laptop has a keyboard that always is on the way.
Bro, I study law, without an iPad I would carry several 500-page books in my bag, apart from notes and organization... The iPad saved my academic life 💀
@@davidveneroso9886nah as someone who has both an iPad and a MacBook Pro I still absolutely use and need my iPad. It’s just a lot better for note taking since I like handwriting them (it helps me retain better) and it makes it to where I don’t need to carry around tons of paper or notebooks. I also like having textbooks on my iPad so I can highlight and annotate the same way I would with a physical book. My MacBook is used for doing actual assignments, using certain software, taking tests/quizzes, and writing papers. I guess you could say that the iPad is best for studying and the MacBook is best for the actual workload but either way both devices are necessary for me
The case notes, statutes, lecture slides and your own notes in a single device really is a luxury but worth it. Your back bone and already bad posture from hours on the screen will thank you when commuting to class.
My iPad and pencil has absolutely changed my life. I homeschool my daughter on it. I have completely organized my life too. It feels like using notebooks without the frustrations and clutter. Plus i have learned to animate and draw, which has helped me animate commercials for my business. Edit: i have the pro 12inch but i prefer my ipad 10. Best ratio of screen size and portability. My daughter prefers to use the ipad 12inch first gen to color and do her schoolwork on.
@@JenFromWebsiteNot really, no one anyone is going to carry like 10 more books and try to figure out where everything is. It’s just easier to take notes all in one place and in any way you want, add pictures, drawings, etc.
As a medical student, iPad literally saved my life!!!! All my notes are well organised. I don’t have to carry thousands pages of textbooks to class. I can take pictures and draw and label them. It’s revolutionary to use iPad to study Anatomy. I really could not imagine myself going through my academic years as medical student without an iPad and I’m grateful for my parents who bought me that.
why l give my iPad to my sister because l got 2 phones , High End PC , Laptop and some consoles too Edit: I'm not rich l have a job and l get paid $15 per hour
If you get an iPad, you probably already have a computer and a phone, so iPads ARE useless. I'm talking from experience. The only reason I can think of is if you make digital art. But there are better tools out there for that.
@@srepinSthey’re only useless if you have all 4 devices, if you have just a phone and an iPad the iPad can do a lot more than the phone, but a laptop will also do a lot of those things, which means the iPad will only really be good for art and other recreational purposes
When being privileged isn’t enough! Not everyone is privileged enough to own one of your tech let alone 4 of them. There’s no need to humble brag for the sake of clout. Crying about an iPad Pro being useless because you have an iPhone, MacBook and gaming computer?!?!?! Just give it to someone that will actually cherish it.
As a musician and student, I use it all the time. From gigs, to notes, to score analysis, to all the money I have saved using text book pdfs. I love it! Wish the battery wasn’t horrible :/
@@amidoesartspc + laptop + iPad + phone cost maybe $8000 in total. A average car goes for around 20-30 k, a average house goes for around 400-500 k. It’s just based on what your priorities are, you don’t have to be rich to buy these things.
If you're a college student, every single gadget you have is important. I use my Ipad for notetaking, planner and highlighting readings. I use my phone to keep update of school and stuff. I use my laptop to write essays or edit projects.
which note apps do you recommend for ipad? i use a regular notebook for notes but i want to switch over to using my ipad since it’ll be easier to convert into a study guide that way
@@vicktor5570 of course. It all matters to how you maximize the use of each gadget. It might be the case for him but for us students, it's different. We deal on so many things and the requirements differ from each teacher. You can still make use of Ipad or phone to edit videos for example but honestly speaking, I prefer editing in laptop. Sometimes I find it hard to edit on Ipad and let's not talk about editing in your phone. It sucks!
@@jamaisvu7196 I've tried all sorts of app but I still prefer c0ll@n0t3. It already offers all the basics even if you're just using the free ver. I can make unlimited folders and papers for each subjects. It also offers planner depending on what you need. It can also record audio while you're in the class taking notes which is quite convenient if I say so if I ever need to review for exams. I just listen to the audio while reading my notes at the same time. It also has stickers too if u wanna spice things up. I also recommend dl "document" if u have lots of readings and u need to highlight or write some notes on it
I as a uni student the iPad revolutionized my academic career. Before iPad, I was an absolute wreck with paper scattered all over everything and important papers shoved in the bottom of my backpack lost forever. The iPad organized everything for me. It saved me.
@@soundarja I initially bought a cheap refurbed iPad on backmarket to see if it would work for me. It did, and I got a really good deal on an iPad Air. I think if you have the money, the iPad Air is the best option. If your budget is limited, get a cheap refurbed one, try it out for a bit, and if you like it, return it and go for the iPad Air. Tip: if you’re buying it during August-September, Apple has a student store with 50 - 100 off iPad, and if you get it and wait a bit, you get a 100 dollar gift card and can use that to get the pencil.
While no longer in university, I’m in total agreement-ADHD meant my life was literally scattered here there everywhere and I never knew where I wrote or typed something down, etc. The iPad being my go-to for *everything* that has to do with my life (aka anything that’s not purely work)= HUGE life upgrade!!
@@45p3ct3 reasons: 1- The iPad has much more ram, storage space and battery than the iPhone so use it when you have WiFi. 2- Bigger touch screen so you can position the archer queen correctly so she doesn’t start breaking walls. 3- It is a second device, you can use one of them to listen to music while working with the other to bypass their premium subscription.
That’s not my point exactly. if you don’t use it ( and already own one) in the first place, then why force yourself if you don’t have a use. You would already be using it if you need it for those reasons.
@@chiarosuburekeni9325 "please stop having hun with your hobby, pleaase" Same logic applied, language learning enthusiasts should stop learning because translators exist?
Its very useful. My older brother uses it to study and write stuff, and i use it for entertainment. Its an incredible device for kids and also for students.
as a student, my ipad is like my third arm😅, i could never go to uni without it, i have everything on it, all my studies, notes, research papers my work as a medical technician is documented there, i just love it
@@hassatoudiallo4327 yup, my ipad is from 2019 And i havent deleted anything, im in my year 3 at collage and it’s my third arm too, although it gave me the notification that i ran out of space bcz im lazy to delete tbh but it’s more than enough, i use it for art too and designing aside of uni, but i feel air is good for studying…heck even ipad 9th gen!!! All my nerds friends use it (the gen one) and they are unstoppable So i say dont bother urself with the storage, as long as u delete books etc yearly.. u will be more than ok I feel pro is too powerful for nothing if u are just a student. u can save money and buy other things… for ex: interesting gadgets like hisense or ereaders like boox… Anyways as a student, ipad gen is the best, and air if u want the charging pen feature, but pro i don’t recommend at all.
It’s the opposite for me. Ever since I bought my iPad Pro, I rarely use my Mac. I do graphic design with Affinity Designer, Photo edit with Affinity Photo, and video edit with LumaFusion. I might try Final Cut Pro soon.
I do 3d models with blender an iPad doesn’t make any sense since I own a gaming laptop and a ultra powerful desktop I own two iPhone 14 pros I sorta use the max model as an iPad but I generally love the smaller one for convenience with making plans and such
If your a digital artist the iPad is IRREPLACEABLE!! 😍 I have a cintiq hooked up to my computer, and I almost use my iPad every day instead of my Cintiq due to the ease of use anywhere I go! It’s also a needed tool for teachers sometimes 👀
Exactly! I brought the cintiq and actually sold it after a few weeks so I could buy an iPad and oh boy is it better! I can actually travel with it, it's easier to draw on and I can watch shows etc on it. I use it every day and never regretted selling my cintiq for it. 😊 So if you're an artist I highly recommend the iPad!
I have one and it’s amazing! If you ever get one make sure tht you get at least 256gb if your gonna play intense games and also hav a lot of art files, trust meh,
@@jessica49arrow drawing tablets are amazing cuz you can use all the really good programs available on pc- but the iPad is better in using it anywhere and how easy it is to pick up- I hav both and their amazing in their own way-

if ur a university student that takes notes, this will save ur life. one ipad instead of 10 different notebooks that ull have to take pictures of and send to yourself. one apple pencil instead of multiple pens and highlighters. no need to ruffle through ur bag looking for another sheet of paper to write on. it’s seriously a game changer
@@senzatieee if you have written notes on it before , you would know that its difficult to write on such a small screen, and when you go through your notes again, you have to do it on that same small screen. In addition if you have like assignments and worksheets, it's literally impossible to do it on a phone because its so small and you have to squint your eyes. its like writing all your notes on like 2 square post it notes but like a tablet/ipad is more like a paper
As a college student I use my iPad more than my MacBook, iPhone and Apple Watch. The only reason why my 14 pro max still has a 100% battery health is because I use my m2 iPad Pro 12.9 all the time.
I use mine for lightroom photo editing as a photographer, Visual Studio Code online, lots of media consumption, notes, art, as a secondary display for my macbook pro. This device is a great tool if you’re always on the go and don’t want to lug your computer around 24/7
I dont even use the pen and my ipad pro replaces the need for laptop. With magic keyboard, you get the ultimate minilaptop experience. Its easy to carry, runs all the necessary stuff for me (like MS office, Canva, Adobe, Streaming services, web browsing, osrs), and feels just much better to use on the go. Man it has better hardware than some 1400e windows laptops. Yes sure you have to deal with the ipad os, but it actually feels more optimal system than windows or macOs in 11inch screen. Also the touchscreen is just so good for daily activities. What i do miss, is some actual games like ps3 games, since the hardware would totally run it. Thankfully theres Runescape that covers the gaming and its actually really nice experience on an ipad.
I have the 12 inch M2 ipad pro. And it is the most used tech in my house. Although i have a phone, laptop and a pc, i choose to use ipad for everything like for entertainment, gaming, note taking, homeworks, excel, word, google meet and even iMessage works so well on ipad and is very convenient. In short ipad can be your phone, pc, laptop, and even books. It depends on you how you’re gonna use it. Whatever you use it for, it works just great! ♥️
For the average person reading this, please do not waste your money on a iPad. Especially the m2 ipad pro, thing is like 1000$ if not even more. A midrange samsung phone like a54 for 400$ and a 600$ gaming laptop will do more than most people need. However if you are something like a artist or something, just anything that really requires powerful and expensive tablet like this, and you REALLY REALLY need it, then the purchase of a iPad might be neglicible
@@Albert42069You will rarely find a gaming laptop for 600, and even rarer is it working properly. It’s your own choice, you shouldn’t be influencing others opinions and some people just happen to have money, if you don’t, don’t buy it.
I edit my photos on it and play games on it. I do sketch a little but the Freeform app is how I plan out my videos. I love mine. If you don’t use it in creative ways, it’s just a big iPhone.
ive gotten this ipad in 2020 and ever since i use it all the time since im in uni. especially when it comes to math. its a great tool despite me having all the things u have on the side as well bcz i dont like writing on paper anymore
I bought the iPad Pro my senior year of high school and I’m currently a senior in college. It has roughly 7 years of notes stored on it (including classes I took in high school that I archived), many documents, and textbooks. It has its quarks but it’s a really nice tool to have and makes being a student nice. The ability to perfect shapes and have unlimited pages, colors, and writing utensil types has also made it a huge help. I would highly recommend for a student. If you’re already working though, don’t get it. As mentioned in this video, you probably already have a piece of equipment capable of doing what you need.
I’ve got myself an iPad Pro 2020 and I absolutely love it. I use it mostly for my university work, like taking notes and reading. I actually feel a bit terrible for not using it for entertainment lol
I feel you man, I just use it to have lessons lol~ coz I have to draw things, and the fact is, if apple made a MacBook with Apple Pencil support, I don't even need an iPad.
Yeah I bought a new one during the pandemic to FaceTime with everyone… and yeah the thing just sits there dead all the time since the pandemic ended lol! I charge it from time to time but it just dies without even using it hahaha
I know, right! Apple did a complete u turn on that one. When I brought my first iPad Pro (10.5 inch 2017) they were running their what’s a computer advert hailing iPad as the only computer you’ll ever need and then the next year they remembered they’re a computer company and said oh no the iPads a companion device! Kinda pissed me off! I’m medically retired and I use iPad as my main device, but now they purposely hold back it’s capabilities. It’s like owning a Ferrari but then Ferrari only ever let you drive it at less then 60mph.
during the semester i’m using it tons but during the summer or break i completely forget i even have it. and i got it with the intention of taking notes plus switching to digital art
same, I use it everyday during classes to take notes, research, do assignments on. But during the summer it’s sitting being charged on my desk like 99% of the time until I wanna sketch something out on it, otherwise I use my PC.
I bought an iPad Air 13 inch m2. I’ve never owned a tablet before and I fucking love this thing. I have an iPhone as well as a couple tv’s a laptop and a few video game consoles and I still find my iPad very useful. I’m glad I Finally got a iPad.
I use my ipad like a laptop replacement, it works quite good for me since i don't need to carry around a notebook or an extra device for class which require taking notes
@@romualdussumbogo3617 the battery life wouldn't be a problem, with my usage say 2-4hrs of lecture (remoting in to a server for coding and notetaking) and entertainment it lasts me well beyond the time i need it for. But if you don't specifically want a particular feature from the ipad say digital note-taking, illustration, audio production- i would suggest just buying an actual laptop instead. Don't get me wrong it works as a laptop replacement but in my case specifically I need to use workarounds like my uni lab virtual desktop or a pocket server on my raspberry pi for coding n such. Also, buying an ipad just for entertainment is a huge waste since at home u have ur tv which will do the job better and on the go u ur phone which is handier
iPads are great for when you don’t have those other things. I bought mine when I didn’t have a computer nor a smartphone, nor a camera, and I needed something for my online studies and for filming and editing RU-vid videos. It was the most affordable and most dynamic option, and is still all I need 5 years on.
You just don’t need the iPad. It isn’t a bad device, the fact is, you bought something you didn’t need because you already had a phone, a MacBook, and a PC. All of which can do everything and more that the iPad could do (except the pencil of course).
You can do crazy stuff with an iPad on Apple ecosystem like running music production through it that gets sent to your computer. You can probably control a camera either way it too. I use it as a remote for pro tools when recording
