I still have my gold iphone 12 pro max, still in pristine condition. I ended up buying myself the s23 ultra when it came out in february and though I still love my iPhone, I don't think I can go back to iOS. However, I still use my iPad everyday and my macbook.
The last time I switched from iOS to Android was with the Nexus 5, was a great phone for its time, but ultimately came back to iPhones and stayed there since, although over the years I dropped being a yearly upgraded to now every 3 years considering the iPhones became so iterative
iPhone 12 is a great phone. 15 Pro Max definitely has better chip, battery life and camera quality but not noticeable for the everyday user - especially for the price! Great video
Thank you! And you’re 💯 right, for the everyday user the differences are very marginal they wouldn’t even notice, whereas those who are a bit more tech ‘savvy’ would notice them, but doesn’t change the fact the the changes are indeed iterative
On 12 pro Max you are able to disable the smart hdr camera, it’s something that I really hate on the new models, I’m so impressed that anyone is talking about it…
You really had to slow it down to see 120hz) 12 pro max is perfectly fine, i dont like dynamic island and will wait for Apple to release something less distracting.
Yeah the 120hz has very different perception amongst people, some people can’t see any difference, some people only see that the interface feels a bit ‘faster’ and others (like myself) can definitely see the big difference between 60hz and 120hz
I’ve heard the 15 overheats and the battery is ass.. my 12pm stays charged and if I’m not on my apps constantly it can go 2 days with no charge and I’ve also seen reviews about the camera taking pictures too far away... 😂😂 I think I’ll keep my 12pm for now. The battery life is 🔥🔥🔥 and the pictures is 🔥🔥🔥
I would say it’s a marginal difference really, max volume wise the 15 is slightly louder and has slightly better ‘depth’ to the sound, just sounds a bit more refined than the 12
Hi, the 12 Pro Max has very capable cameras. I filmed all my RU-vid videos (A roll and B roll) using the 12 Pro Max. Was very happy with the camera capabilities
I guess it comes down to each person. I was on the 3 year cycle as this was when Apple typically refreshes the iPhones design. But moving forward who knows if this’ll stay the same, I’m hearing rumours that next year’s iPhones will increase in screen size, does that fall under design refresh 🤔 for a lot of people the design has been ‘stagnant’ since the iPhone 12, as there’s minute changes over the years. Nothing like how it was back in the iPhone 3/4/5/6/7 days!
As the pace of perceived performance gains for the average user slows, product replacement cycle lengthens. 12PM is perfectly usable now and for a couple of more years to come. I have a 14PM and compared performance side by side with a 15PM. I noticed little to no difference. 14PM will stay for at least three more years.
Yearly upgrades are becoming a thing of the past because of that exact reason, I personally will most likely be sticking to a 3 year upgrade unless the next phone has something drastically different that entices me to purchase, that or because I’m a tech guy and have to have the latest 😅
@@typicaltechlad Agree 100. I don't like Titanium case, it looks cheap. Apple kept the stainless steel case for three years so I am hoping Ti will be gone in three years. Can't wait for the 18!
They are both excellent phones. If you want a larger screen with theoretically (if you check it) a bigger battery and a slightly better camera, you should buy the 12. If not the 13, and in this case brand new is the go to choice
Someone offered me the 12 pro max for 100$,it’s just that it’s on 78% battery life so idk if to just buy it and replace the battery or just don’t buy it , pls someone help me !!!
He means yes you should go ahead with it. An iPhone 12 Pro Max for $100 is a good deal! Even if the battery health is on 78%, you’re still getting it for way under selling prices at the moment
