Apple is releasing a new color for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini - purple! I’ve got the purple iPhone 12 here from Apple, and I figured I’d give you a quick unboxing of the purple color, along with an overview of the iPhone 12 itself in case you’re considering picking this one up consider this your iPhone 12 purple review.
Apple has brought the Super Retina HDR display to the iPhone 12. In previous years, the 6.1-inch entry level iPhone had the liquid Retina display with about an 880p resolution. It was the best LCD in any smartphone, but the Super Retina XDR OLED display was exclusive to the premium iPhone lineup. Now, even if you get a non-Pro iPhone 12, you’re also getting the same 6.1-inch 2532 x 1170 Super Retina Display XDR resolution, at 460 pixels per inch, and the same 2 million to one contrast ratio, True Tone, and P3 wide color whether you choose the iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro. Again, the 12 Pro display is brighter in typical use, but this is a big step forward for the standard iPhone 12.
The iPhone 12 purple color starts at $829 in the US (the same price as all other colors,) but some carriers are offering a $30 discount that brings it to $799. That it up from the $699 price of the iPhone 11, but is to be expected with the addition of OLED displays and 5G.

Yep, when I saw that the iPhone 12 was coming out in purple I said “I have to have it”. I’m upgrading from a 8 Plus that needs to be charged 4-5 times a day. I should receive mine on Monday

the useless video that you looks for on RU-vid ! i love iPhone because it has flagship chip and always is comes with latest features in the industry but when they make it purple it doesn't change anything , users could do the same with a phone case

There are people who have no upgraded yet and are now interested specifically due to the new color. Did you watch the video? The video isn't about the color - it is an overview of the entire phone and all it's features so people who are interested now get all the info they need. How is that useless?

Nope, I don’t want you to watch the video. I made the video for people who don’t know about it - not everyone is like us and pays attention to everything right away. Lots of people buy a phone and use it for 3-5 years. That’s who the video is for - the people who don’t know about it and want to learn before buying.
