Same here but as good as each phone is everyone needs to change at some point. I do miss Samsungs screen though the better resolution makes a difference.

That's one of the reasons why I ditched my iPhone 12 for a S21 ultra 6m ago and I was always an Apple fan. I had all iPhone models. The best tablet is still my iPad Pro and the best laptop is still my MacBook Pro. I returned the Samsung Tab S7+. Android on tablets is an absolute no go. Apple seriously has to think about their iPhones because they are limping behind by 4y. This new iPhone 13 is again an improved iPhone X
@@thegreatgatsbygatsby474 weight and thickness and even the design has never been really an issue for me because I always use a book cover with sleeves for credit cards but I can imagine that gimbal users, weight can be a serious issue. Good review, I like how Sakitech keeps it simple and highlights what is subjective. I'm a long time Samsung supporter and still is but I do disagree with two things, one is that iPhone is quite nicer to look at especially the back of the phone is impressive with its glossy gold, and the app support of iPhone is significant enough to get more respect than you're giving; BUT I am personally sticking with Samsung.
I decided to try iphone 11 pro max over my old but trusty Samsung S9+. Was going to buy the 13 pro max, but wanted to try ios first. I have had Apple id and iTunes account + storage for many years. (My child uses iPad). Needless to say, I felt like I went backwards. Simple things that are lacking in ios that android excels at... So many customisation options with Android. Looks like I'll wait for the new S22 Note and my child will get the iPhone as a hand-me-down next year...
@@minigiant8998 Honestly both are not perfect. I have the S21 Ultra but the 108mp camera is so bright and so good that all the face marks appear on cheeks and stuff and that's pretty bad.
Yeah, it's all about the games so personal preference. I have to say I'm not really loving my S21 Ultra, but iPhone needs usbc and the notch GONE before I switch
I prefer Samsung phones with their freedom and own a S21 FE which I love! But how in the hell was the macro camera of the S21 better? If anything it was the iphone's camera that was better!
Also, Samsung has more freedom than iPhone. I used to have an iPhone, and I hated it. Everything had to be done thru iTunes and I can't stand that. Don't know if it's like that now. In my opinion, Samsung has more freedom and it's a better phone. To each their own.
13:05 Wait a minute, are you sure about the S21 Ultra having a slight edge in sharpness over iPhone 13 Pro Max with regard to the macro shot? iPhone 13 Pro Max looks sharper to me.
Well, after years with Android and Samsung, I finally welcomed IOS to my life, and it feels very weird. I think my S20 ultra is faster, keyboard, swiping, multitasking, photo editor, emails, except for some apps… All IOS users are telling me it is simpler and easier to use than Android but I don’t feel it in that way. I do like the experience but I’m not super impressed. I hope I don’t regret after the S22 ultra comes out
Apple doesn't have DEX which is a game changer for people who travel light. It was really helpful during my mandatory quarantine when traveling to other countries.
I will write how it is. IPhone has better battery life and processor. But has awful notch. So S21 Ultra has better display and cameras. Also UI is more customizable. Which is better? For battery IPhone for more functions and cameras S21 Ultra.
@@tomas12912 the S21 Ultra didn’t win in a shot-for-shot comparison against our iPhone 12 Pro Max. One of the main issues with the S21 is focusing. For some reason, too many of our shots on the S21 were out of focus. The shutter lag didn’t help either. These were just the daytime shots. When we went into indoor lighting, the S21 really fell apart and couldn’t hang with the Deep Fusion on the iPhone. Now we have the 13 Pro Max and that one is even better than the 12. So no, the S21 Ultra’s camera cannot hang with the iPhone 13 Pro.
at the end of the day they're both great phones and people will like what they like. most people will prolly never even use the phones to their full potential anyways, except to talk about when bashing the other side. just jump on social media then log off
I used iPhone 12pro max for 8 months, at first I did notice the notch, but later It didn't disturb me or made me annoyed. But overall, there are beasts
Not really i have the s21 ultra this always on display exist since the s6(2015) and honestly i dont use it cuz it drains battery. Its not really useful for me. What i do miss however is the led notification that was really interestin. Much more better.
I have both the S21 Ultra (personal) & IPhone 13 Pro Max (work). I was excited to get the iPhone as its been a couple years since I’ve had one. After 3 days, I’m so disappointed. The iPhone 120 adaptive screen refresh rate is terrible & most social media apps feel so slow compared to the S21 Ultra. Also, the screen is not as vibrant & crisp as well as the processing of the photos are dark & blur weird. The s21 Ultra isn’t perfect and I’m going to give the iPhone more time to prove me wrong, but so far it’s not “sparking any joy” in just general every day use.
From this vid, clearly you not familiar with iOS and iphone..even missed to highlight features like dolby vision for record and playback. even failed to mention on 60hz adaptive choice
The S21 ultra has been released long time ago before the iPhone 13, it shouldn't have been compared to the iPhone 13 that just released last week.. Up Samsung💥💥💥
It matters not how much newer the iPhone is, it's always going to be an unfair comparison, as any of the latest Samsung phones simply destroy any iPhone - especially S21 Ulra, Note 20 Ultra, and note 10 Plus. The killer feature - S-PEN. There is nothing like it on the phone market. Then add bonuses like Samsung Dex, proper mouse support, easy to use file structure, second monitor extension, remote control of PowerPoint, camera shutter etc. Ipad's immense power and speed is a hyped-up furphy.
design, camera performance, battery life, and most other features are all subjective. the differences are so slight, you really wouldn’t be able to tell unless you had both devices next to each other. basically, if you like android, you’ll most likely grab the s21. if you like ios, you’ll grab the iphone 13/13 pro. these are both really good devices, objectively speaking.
@@thegreatgatsbygatsby474 with day to day use, they pretty much are. the average person isn’t going to know the difference in processors unless they compare benchmarks, which they’re not going to do.
@@thegreatgatsbygatsby474 iphones are better optimized, so you tend to have better app experiences, less slow downs, so on and so forth. but again, these differences are so slight, it ultimately comes down to which os you like better. it’s like comparing a mclaren to a ferrari to a lamborghini. they all make fast cars, and unless you drive their cars back to back, you won’t be able to really tell the difference between the driving experiences.
Great comparison! You can actually limit the 13 Pro framerate to 60hz. Settings - Accessibility- Motion :) Why did you ignore the Lidar scanner and Dolby Vision? And speaker quality plus integration with the watch etc. The iPhone is the better phone.
Yaa!! He is ignoring a lot more features with iPhone. You can clearly see how much more optimized iPhone is over Samsung with the better battery life, and overall OS. Apps from the App Store give iPhone a lot more features, such as more customization and flexibility. I still perfer iPhone.
The galaxy s21 ultra charges faster so by the time the iphones extra hr of battery dies the s21 ultra would already be fully charged so that 1hr of extra batter with the iPhone isn't a big deal
I was a diehard android/Samsung user for years. Most recently had an s20+ and I enjoyed that phone quite a bit. I moved from Android to apple because of the quality of life from apple. Better battery life, better integration and optimization as well as an easier ui. I love android but recently picked up the 13 pro max and I enjoy how user friendly it is right from the get go. For basic day to day use I enjoy it. Half of the “features” on either phone are mostly gimmicks anyway and rarely used by me at least.
Yes I agreed the iPhone is better in most aspects but the software is not easy to use. You have to go to settings everytime you want to do minor tasks like changing a wallpaper, switching wifi networks, etc... .
Between updates, and the way the S21 Ultra adapts over time to how it's used, the S21 Ultra's battery performance could exceed what people expect from it, based on reviews.
Yeah it’s adaptive battery consumption takes a couple of weeks to learn your pattern and really start making a difference my exynos s21 ultra is pretty good for battery now.
Total package i will go with ultra. The advantage of iphohe is not that significant in real world use. But the productivity and extra options and free custo in ultra will always win all day.

I don’t agree with any of the pros you stated of the S21, it’s obvious your a Samsung fanboy but the things u listed make absolutely no sense, 1. Faster charging, ok but iPhone has longer battery life, why did u not add that as a pro? 2. Reverse wireless charging, maybe the only thing iPhone doesn’t have but who wants to charge a headphones on the back of their phone? 3. Better looking? The only time u would notice is when u take a picture of a bird 200 feet away with the S21, kind of unpractical and not realistic scenario, PS u never showed the night mode comparison 5. S pen…? I am willing to bet the 13 mini has exactly the same issue!
I got bored of Samsung and decided to try the 13 pro, first thing I noticed the screen resolution/brightness does not compare not even to the Note 10 plus, it's yellowish, photos are darker but sharper. The notch annoying.. I'll give a year but I'm leaning to going back to Samsung. Pros of the iphone. Phone is luxurious, speakers. iMessage.
You can actually get rid of yellowish hue with True Tone turned on. Go to: settings, accessibility, display and text size, color filters, turn color filters ON, select COLOR TINT, then slide intensity all the way to the left, and then finally slide hue back and forth to adjust how warm or how cool you want it to be. That’s your best bet since True Tone is better for your eyes.
Great video but these comparisons do nothing to the die hards in my opinion. Apple users will defend iphones no matter what and Samsung users will do the same
I have been a Samsung fan from like 2014 ... Sad part is I changed that habit due to the scam they do with the exynos chip .... Horrible chipset.... When I had my s 20 + and compared it to another s20+ snapdragon version of a friend that lives in America I was shocked everything was worse on my phone than the one he had even the camera department due to the chipseat (I live in Europe) I even paid more for the handset than him . Anyways.... I finally decided to change to an iPhone . I hated IOS first and I was sad being honest as I felt betrayed by samsung but we'll I got along and being honest I love it now . In the final comparison you mentioned s21 ultra chargers faster, but didn't mention that the 13 pro max has longer battery life of over an hour. That's useful information to people like myself who find battery life important.
Because they are brain washed... they are in awe over 120 hertz refresh rate... when that's really been around for years. You still can't even be on two apps at once on an iPhone. There is no innovation. People can literally have an iPhone from 3 years ago and say they have the 13.

@Tweed Penguin Yeah, I got told many times, when facebook was offline, that "oh, you know we, iPhone users have iMessage, so we can still message with each other" I was like lol what a feature, we have whatsapp, telegram, discord, anything...

The iPhone 13 pro max came out which means the iPhone 12 Pro Max is cheaper which means the iPhone 11 Pro Max is cheaper which means the iPhone SE 2nd gen is cheaper which means I can finally afford the iPhone SE 1st gen
Considering that the S21 Ultra was already a better overall phone than the Iphone 12 Pro Max and still is better in several aspects than the latest Apple has to offer... the winner is clear... Not forgetting that the S21 Ultra was also considered the best smartphone of 2021 overall... price + hardware + software + performance + etc etc... just saying 😅
Overall s21 is by far the most complete Smartphone. This was not the Steve jobs vision. Apple don't put the best tech on their devices because iphone buyers keep buying their devices regardless the others offers better devices. So what's the point giving for iphone buyers a complete phone like the S21 Ultra. Android Market is huge the competition so they need to release the best Tech for their devices. Apple have a strong image in the consumer and because of that apple thake advantage and used for their own profit, the proof of that is on their devices with old tecnology and keep selling every year. People are not stupid and this business model did work more or less 13 years ago because their product was in the fact the best smartphone in the market, more or less 13 years ago, the first 3 iphone models give to the company a huge success and because of that Apple realize the opportunity to sell their next devices with outdated crap tecnology and having the same profit, and all this years as been like that. And because of that iphone will never be the best overall smartphone in the market. Apple overall is a company selling their devices with crap tecnology at the price of the high end tech Smartphones Congratulations Apple marketing department and apple financial department also.
So for the last 2 days I have been trying to give the “wonderful” iPhone a try. I don’t care for the iPhone’s keyboard. It does not have the capability to create groups so I can see all my clients or see just family etc. ( talked to customer support he recommended that I send a suggestion to apple so they will add this feature. Really? Samsung had it forever.) iPhone makes you close each app separately by swiping them up one at the time. Using Samsung you can CLOSE ALL open apps with one swoop. Or one at the time. The iPhone app to move the data from my old phone (galaxy s10 plus) to the iPhone 13 pro + simply does NOT work. I know all the apple lovers think it’s great, and after 2 days I am convinced that it is just OK, and since iPhone users don’t know what they are missing so it makes it great. Their advertising is superior which makes people believe that it is superior, but I am convinced now that Samsung make a better phone. And lastly, most of the apps require pay to apple. Backup to the icloud.. Pay to apple. I backup to google for free. Apple is a greedy company as far as I can tell. Oh.. they sent me my 1st phone without charging capability. Really? I am sure that I will find more disadvantages as I keep using it for the next few days. #appleiphone #samsunggalaxy #iPhone13Pro

Apple really needs their equivalent of Samsung's DEX, if you do real work and have a phone with that fast of a processor it would be huge for productivity. Being able to just quickly have a keyboard and mouse and all your apps on a real screen in seconds; you could take care of a LOT of emails fast. I use DEX when I get home from work and I get a lot of work done so fast and everything centralized since It's all on the phone already. The spouse has the iPhone 12, I don't know why you would need a faster CPU right now.
The A15 bionic really is focusing on future proofing and camera plus software so, lots of wasted potential as Apple is a bit stubborn, same as Exynos and Snapdragon, offering 3 years of software updates for such powerful phones are a crime that no one talks about

I had the iPhone 12 Pro Max and was wondering if the iPhone 13 Pro (not max) has better battery and performance than the "Max" of the 12 Pro. Since the 13 Pro has all the upgraded specs as the 13 Pro Max, I was wondering if the iPhone 13 Pro battery is better than the Pro Max of the 12.
