I upgraded to a 13 from a XR. I really like the design, size and weight. It feels so much better than the XR. The display is much better, as is the battery life. Truth be told, the XR did everything I needed, the 13 is just a little better. Nice upgrade, but not necessary as long as your old phone still works.
same upgrade here. thought i'd be more satisfied if I upgraded to 13 pro but switching to 13 feels just right. the camera upgrade is what I needed.. one lens was just not enough lol
The only reason why I’m upgrading from my XR is so I can give this to my mom and for me to get the 13. Phone still works great just need to get my mom who is not at all tech savvy out of the 6s
Finally. Someone reviewing the “plain” I Phone 13! I thought I was interested in the new 13 Pro and found few I Phone 13 reviews until now. I currently use 2 separate I Phone 11’s. @@dididogster9994 Thanks for asking. I got my 1st one a couple years ago when I signed up with Sprint and paid outright for it. I use it with Mint Mobile. I just got my second one with T Mobile 2 months ago. So I carry both with me. Hope that helps. I had Androids for over 20 years.
I picked up a red 13 128GB recently. I was going to get a pro but decided to just get the 13. So far I’m really happy with my choice. I was coming from an 11 Pro. I appreciate the screen brightness, slight size increase, noticeably better low light performance in photos and videos. Also I love the colours, they’re just more fun than the pro models which is awesome.
@@arjunsaluja7757 The technology in iphone 13 = iphone 11 Pro Max. Ready the model comparison on apple website. The plus point of 11 Pro or Pro Max is only the telephoto, which we can zoom. Im using Xs Max, 11 Pro & 11 Pro Max. I sell them for 1 iphone 13 and 1 iphone 12 pro. But now I realize the 13 is better in battery life. I am thinking to sell again this 12 pro and buy another 13.
Pro max sizes have been a no for me this year. I traded my 12 pro max for the 13 pro. My mom loved it so I gave it to her and got myself a Pink 13 this is a great size for me
Yea I'm in the process of doing the exact same thing. (Going to a 13 Pro from a 12 Pro Max.) I went to the Apple store and held the regular Pro in my hand and put it in my pocket. It just felt... right. Lol
coming from a person who basically do not care about yearly iPhones releases and switching to ip13 from 7plus, this phone is a huge jump for me. This phone just welcomes me in a way that only certain people can experience. I just hope Apple brings back the Jet Black colour like the 7 does. man that colour is srsly sick.
Thanks for the review. A phone that lasts 2 days without charging in moderated use is the minimum I expect from a high end phone. Still can't decide between the iphone 13 mini form factor or the 13 better battery life.
I ended buying the iPhone 13 mini. It really fits in my hands and in my pockets, is very easy to use and I don’t really miss the extra 20% battery juice.
I had my pick between the 13 and 13 Pro but I pretty much just picked the 13 solely because I loved the Blue more than Sierra Blue. Definitely feeling more confident about my choice after watching this
I got my kids a pair of 13's for Christmas, Black Friday deal through our carrier that ends up getting them for free after renewing contracts we needed to anyways. So huge bonus for us and the kids will love them.
With everyone, including myself, talking about how they wish the battery percentage was displayed, it's only a matter of time before Apple puts it into a software update.
Got the 13 Pro last January. I was choosing betweent the regular 13 and the 13 pro but ended up getting the Pro. Although the 13 is still awesome but I am keen into the Telephoto lens especially it’s 3x this year same as the Max
How about the weight difference ? I am currently using iPhone 11 and I feel burden to my hand since I use it for longer period… every one says iPhone 12 is light weight but it is already one year older phone.. thanks in advance for your information…
Wow this video is really well done Noah! Well written and the overall quality is dope! The only thing missing with the 13 is not the ProMotion display but the telephoto camera. I really wish, this phone would have a third camera. Especially for the price tag.

I’ve also been using my iPhone 7+ since 2018 ,wanted opinions about which phone to buy next , considering there is budget constraints as I need an iPad as well as an iPhone Ps : mainly use phone for surfing social media and listen to music and take occasional pictures And need an iPad for note taking , assignments and making presentations for college use
Everyone has a budget and I keep that in mind but if you live in the USA then the $170 difference between iPhone 13 and 13 Pro makes it an absolute no brainer to get the Pro for that extra $170 unless you will starve or be evicted otherwise. Brighter display with 120hz promotion. 6gb of ram instead of 4gb. Much faster gpu for future proofing. Better cameras with 3x telephoto, better night mode and super cool macro mode on ultra wide lens. And finally, better battery life. This is not even mentioning ProRes and ProRaw.
Thank you for the honest review. I’ve been planning to upgrade from an 8+ but couldn’t decide whether to buy 13 or 13 pro. Definitely made up my mind on 13 after watching this video.
The way tech reviewers (and especially people who make ‘daily use’ content) focused on every model but the 13 base model was kind of disappointing. I really got the sense that tech YTers really only make content for pro users or for those who are interested in the ‘new’ mini format. I understand that there’s more to say about those models, and that they want to talk about either the best of the best or the one with the most novelty. But having upgraded from the 7, the regular 13 is an incredible phone in and of itself and it sucks that it didn’t get more coverage. To hear reviewers, you would think purchasing anything other than the pro or pro max, or mini if you were upgrading from the 12 mini, would be a waste. Which isn’t true. Most people don’t need the pro features and most people want great battery life and a bigger screen. There’s a reason the regular model is usually the most popular- it’s at the intersection of cost, practicality, and fun colors. Anyway, thanks for the video, it’s like the only in-depth review I’ve seen for this phone that wasn’t just “it’s basically the regular 12 but different. Get ProMotion.”
Some Tech youtubers be tellin' people to go for the pro or promax but i think if you really care more about the camera or you love photography /vlogging I think pro is good but if you're just an average user , the regular 13 is good for u. :)
Got a pink one today and I love it.:: coming from se 2020.. mini was too small and pro/ pro max not at all necessary for me and way too large… I think I’ll be sticking with it for a few years.. got all my protective gear and am happy with it

I choose the 13 regular and this phone almost same specs. to 12 Pro Max !!! And the feat. the price is fit for me bec. the extra feat. that the 13 PRO lines have I realized I don't needed !!! Pro lines feels premium and very solid but 13 regular is good for me !!!
I've been stressing over what color to get but after watching this video I think I might go for starlight. Getting my 13 this week so excited about time I got rid of my 8. 2 Weeks later ended up getting red and I love this phone so much already and it’s only been a couple hours. Going to so if it can handle my daily use tmr.

Vossibase Station isn't a MagSafe approved one right? it doesn't show the charging animation. which means it doesn't get the full 15W MagSafe charging speeds. just Qi wireless charging speed which is slower.

When i saw iphone 13 pro in the mall i was very amaze by its beauty specially the gold one its like im gonna take it and run hahahaha my head was saying if only i have a money or work to afford one of these i would definitely but im a student i cant buy these things so ill stick to my old broken phone😣
I'll go back to the iphone if they remove the notch, change to USB c, add split screen and have under screen fingerprint sensor. My last iphone was the 6S and I'm happy with the samsung ever since
The notch is apples brand. In commercials or movies when an actor is using a phone and you see that notch it’s unmistakably an iPhone. Now for example some people on the internet think a hole punch is a good for an iPhone. Apple will NEVER hole punch their phone since that’s an android thing and apple doesn’t want their phone mistaken for an android.
Actually I consider the iPhone mini is the best because its the cheapest and still has all the features just a smaller battery but its also a smaller phone so yea… I have the iPhone mini. I also had the pro but I was really dissapointed with the pro especially for the money I paid for. I am usually an Android user. I did not think the iPhone is as good as those tech youTubers makes you think. I bought the iPhone purely because of the hype always surrounded by apple products and now I do regret it, but if you are into IOS I would definitely chose the mini because its more worth it then the pros. Thats just my opinion. But obviously I compare the iPhone 12 and 13 with Android that I had before (samsung 20 note utra and s20 FE 5G) which are amazing phones. Obviously if you have smaller hands then its better not to those heavy massive phones as I have noticed. It can annoy you over time. I even destroyed my phone because it was too heavy in 1 hand to make a picture of my hamster, so it fell on stone floor. Iphone get destroyed very easy without case. So please dont use it without a case. Wait before you have a case and screenprotector and then use the phone xD. I have the iPhone 13 mini and the Samsung galaxy s20 Fe 5G at the moment and the Ipad mini. But also a game laptop (HP). I just really need an android phone I have noticed haha. I send the iPhone pro back to the shop because I was dissapointed. I did not think the cameras were better actually. Since I have had both.. I did not see a difference to be honest. But I do say the samsung Fe has a better camera for photos. But the iPhone has a better video camera. I just dont make many videos. I like the weight more of the mini then the pro. I could not send messages with 1 hand with the pro which is annoying.
Dude I just upgraded from Samsung note 9 to iPhone 13 only reason coz my note broke I love the smaller size of iPhone and flat screen overall such a nice phone I’m very happy
