As a student tight on budget to spend on tech I bought regular 13, and for 250$ Sony ANC headphones(WH-1000XM4), for some people extra features on pro models are definitely worth it, but for me those headphones were much more important.

Don’t feel bad I have the regular 13 product red it’s a great phone I came from the XR it broke so I had to get a lil cheap android now I have 13 red & what I can say is I love it don’t let people make you feel like the regular 13 is a piece of shit it’s still a great phone just like the 13pro or max

@@adityachangal They do, I bought them instead of AirPods 3, because even if the battery degrades, you don't have to throw these away, Just plug them in. They're the best Noise Cancelling headphones out there.

Fantastic video as always! Truly enjoyable from beginning to end, it genuinely feels like talking about tech while hanging out with buddies in the city :) + 16:56 Btw, the pricing you showed for the 12 is after the 13 came out, where the 12 and the 11 line got $100 drop once the 13 came out. The 12 Mini and 12 started at the same price as the 13 Mini and 13 now, but with half the storage!

This type of reviews are the best! We can see how a device performs while it actually has a SIM card, meaning struggling with coverage going in and out of buildings/cars etc and we get to see places (and know the history of) that we maybe never going to see irl!!

Just changed from the s21+ to the iPhone 13, absolutely love it. Camera is so good. Battery lasts forever, much longer then the s21+, I like that it’s it’s slightly smaller, I struggled to fit my s21+ in a lot of pockets. I go hiking regularly and to festivals too so this phone is ideal. Also the camera is so easy to use. So glad I changed.

I just got mine. Such a great overall phone, the only concern I had was the battery (compared to my old S10 lite) however the battery holds up on an average of 8hrs of heavy usage with 5g! Definitely worth it

Still rocking a 13 I got new back in Nov the tech doesn’t feel almost 3 years old great battery life great camera and performance and it’s the perfect size and my battery health is still on 100 after 9 months iOS 17 has been problem free and smooth I recommend this if you can get it for a decent price

Wish I found your video when the 13 mini launched. I bought the iPhone SE but found it was not what I was looking for. Ended up trading in a year later for the 13 mini. Love the way you presented everything, just made sense.

I have been watching reviews across RU-vid about iphone 13 series and as someone on a tight budget, you made it clear I should definitely get the regular 13. I followed you because you were +1 on his video travails inspired by you. Really good video. Also compared to other reviewers, I like how you put your opinion instead of leaving it hanging. It's okay if people disagree. As a reviewer you must state what's important to you. I will choose the 13 over the pro after watching it. From the looks of it, iPhone are already so smooth, most people can't even differentiate between the refresh rates.

Just curious about the Creative Mode, did they remove the old filter effects and added "Creative Mode" or the old effects is still there? Very curious since i'm still using the 6s. Hahaha I try to explain how to say Hoek in Dutch. The meaning is our word for corner. The way you say HOOK, like captain HOOK comes very close, but the meaning is not even close…

@@TheUnlockr I got the blue 13 for my wife to upgrade from her X. She likes it, especially the flat edges and the camera. I replaced my 12 pro max to the 13 pro max and the biggest difference I feel is the pro motion display that give you an instant difference from the 12promax. About the heat that the user mentioned, I'm not a big gamer but I had a few times that the phone was getting hot at the left back side, especially at the first 6 months, when I was scrolling on a shopping app or some social media apps mostly on 5G but with the updates it got improved. With the 13promax I haven't experienced any major heat problems yet. Battery life is insane, especially when I share my daily tasks with an OnePlus 9 pro so I think it can easily go to a 2 days battery life!

Did you use the regular camera app to record this video, or did you use a special app, like FilMic Pro? Also, the video was so smooth. Did you use a gimbal, or did you use a regular tripod?

One issue with the 13 series across the board is that the camera focus distance is longer than any iPhone available now. Even my old iPhone 3g can take a better close up shot. The 13 gets blurry once you get closer than about 6" or so inches. My old iPhone 11 was great all the way up to about three inches or so. I have a 13 mini that I really love but I’m exchanging it today for the camera issue. Apple tells me it’s a hardware issue. I went to Best Buy and tested every iPhone 13 model as well as the iPhone 12 and the iPhone SE. the 12 , SE, and the Pro models took great pics all the way up to about three inches but the both the regular 13 and 13 Mini got really blurry once they got closer than 6-7". I use my camera for close up shots for work and I’ve never run into this before going back as far as I can remember.

It's hardware limitation. The bigger camera sensor - the further minimal focus distance. That's why older iphones could focus form closer distance. Same thing with other smartphones with bigger sensor: Galaxy S20 line etc... And that's why iphone 13 pro have dedicated macro mode (auto change to wide angle lens crop), other smartphones use this trick too, for example, my Oneplus 8 Pro.

not a pixel fanboy, just a pixel 3 user here, and the night shot at 12:09 looks clearly better for pixel 5 than iPhone 13. overall best amongst the 4 is the s21 ultra, but pixel is better in this shot than iPhone 13 in my opinion.

Is there any way to check the screen on time since the last full charge rather than the last 24 hours (like you can on a Pixel)? As it stands, if you took you phone off the charger at 9am and used it till 10pm, the screen on time for the last 24 hours would include an extra period (from 10pm the previous night till 9am) rather than just the screen on time since the last full charge (from 9 am till 10pm today) making the battery seem longer lasting than it actually is.
