It's already been a year since Apple released the iPhone 14 Pro. So here we have my review after using it daily.
I also discuss why you shouldn't go for the 15 Pro and instead save some money and get the 14 Pro when it gets discounted!

I upgraded from the iPhone 11 to the 14 Pro and I’m in love with my phone even after a year of having it it’s the first iPhone I bought at 18 with my very own hard earned money from my first job I had I definitely won’t be upgrading yet

@@blazingdefunk When I switched to the 14 pro I didn't notice a difference in the weight but it is a little bit heavier because of the stainless steel around the phone but you will get used to the weight it's not really noticeable maybe if you compare your iPhone 11 side by side you'll probably notice a weight difference but the iPhone 14 Pro is a very good phone even after a year I highly recommend the 14 Pro over the 15 Pro that is overheating and is more fragile than the 14 pro you can wait 4 years and get an even better upgrade from the 14 Pro.

I'm not a selfish person so USB C is a HUGE drawback for me. No longer will there be an "apple cable" and all my friends and family wont be able to charge their iPhones when they come over. When traveling I'll need to carry 2 cords if I'm thinking about friends, others or scenarios I'll need both cables in. This is really making me on edge and may not buy it. My 14 pro max held up well besides the million scratches and cracked rear glass since we no case gang out here

I’ve had a good experience with my gold 14 Pro for the 8 and a half months I’ve owned it, I also don’t use my phone as my main media consumption device preferring to use an iPad whenever possible. My Phone is still holding at 100 percent battery health.

I have exactly the same scenario over here! I like to as well separate my consumption to the iPad. I think most people are having a bad experience because they are using it non-stop.

@@MarioDuchHi. I got a 13 Pro since March 2022. It cost me 1279€ ( living in Europe). This phone and 14 Pro are marketed about Battery Life on Apple website and how great A15 and A16 are efficient. We should be able to use this Pro phone all day long. I don’t have tablet. My smartphone is my main device, always with me. Listening to music, Learning a new language, Checking my bank account, using social media apps, Working with Google Apps, Playing a little bit on Asphalt or Fifa, Photos and Videos on holidays. My phone was great until iOS 16 but now i lost 9% in one year. A lot of people using 14 Pro have also battery issues. We just our phone normally, a PRO phone

It’s really interesting that you mentioned that they toned down the oversharpening with IOS 17, do you feel a major difference? Or it is very suttle?

It’s as good as it should have been from the beginning. That means you never notice that that it has over sharpened something.

Well, depends on your budget to be honest. The 14 pro is great and I will be keeping it at least until the 16 series comes next year.

Watch this after 15 series announcements and i do agree. Am using 11 pro now and wanna upgrade to 15 pro but then kinda meh for minor update and 14 pro suddenly looks much more deal as i can save 300$ instead

Yep! Kinda happy that the video didn't become false news right after the event. I do think that the 15 Pro is nice. But with all the things you are already getting with the 14 Pro it's a much better deal when upgrading from the 11 Pro.

i want to buy iphone 14 pro and i was gonna wait for 15 but i actually dont like titanium, idk if its just me but i prefer the shiny finish of steel, i have an xs now and i love this design because of the stainless steel

I'm currently switching between the Dbrand Grip and the Pitaka MagEZ Pro 3. But mostly use the Dbrand one for the majority of the time.

I will be waiting a month or 3 and then getting the 15 Pro. The USB-C is a huge advantage for me as I play my music off of a MicroSDXC card as well as plug in a USB-DAC. The lighting port causes all sorts of issues for this because there is no official Apple accessory that does both at the same time. So I have to use the cheap Chinese version(s) which are not very reliable. USB-C would open me up to a host of quality add-ons that will allow me to do this more reliably. Plus the faster USB-3 speed for reading from the SDXC Card.

Is dynamic Island worthy enough for spending money on 15 series , or 14 plus is enough ! I'll be switching from android , first timer Apple ? Please suggest pro/promax or plus is enough !

Well, if you want/need Pro Motion (120 hz). Go for the 14 Pro/max. if not, 14 Plus is sick. The dynamic island is not worth an upgrade alone.

Right! People talk so much about Usb-C and transfer speeds. Airdrop is fantastic, easy and fast. Also, the new phone is to be more expensive. I am only enticed by the titanium. Silly but..

You can't depend only on airdrop to move big files like pro-res videos, it is neither practical nor fast enough compared to USB-c connection. If buggy airdrop has been fine for you, you either don't move files often or your files aren't big enough that a better speed would benefit you.

i own the21 fe currently and planning on switching to the.14 pro as well (first iphone). Do you see a difference in battery life compared to the s21 fe on a daily basis? i own a macbook since recently and it has soooo much more battery life compared to the acer laptops i owed before it. i am hoping that apple's phones would also excel in this area

@@SoulXx21 yes it took me 1 week to learn iOS and to get use to the 6.7 Inch Display and honestly i dont ever See myself Go Go back Go Samsung or any other Androids the battery holds up for me 2 days sometimes one and half it depends how i use the phone im also Planing to get the mackoob sińce i play only on ps5 i have truły no regrets buying this phone i suggest u try the two sizes because i holded my Friends iPhone 14 Pro and the didplay was to small for me and the Max is just Perfect🫡👌👌👌👌👌

Yeah, my 13 promax died so I got the 14 promax space black in 512 GB and I’ll tell you what it was the best decision ever because I needed a phone and I honestly wasn’t too hyped for the 15. I don’t know I just wasn’t into it and I feel like even with the USB-C it really wouldn’t make me want to upgrade.

Wait for the 15, it’s going to go even lower. If you don’t edit your iPhone videos on your computer, don’t worry about the lighting port.

lol you won’t notice day to day performance changes. Titanium equates to worse overall durability since it transfer impact to the glass Airdrop is great Periscope just on the max version 6gb of ram is already enough for an iphone

Well the battery life is worst. When I compare my iPhone 14 Pro to my previous 13 Pro, despite having smaller battery, the 13 Pro had better battery life.

I wouldn't take that into consideration at all. You are not going to notice a performance difference. And I don't even know anyone who keeps their phone for 5 years to reach the support limit.

Usb-c is cool but honestly while its awesome, all of my apple ecosystem products are lightning and that would be really annoying for me personally, especially my pro max's, i bring them to work alot and my memory sucks so i feel like id forget to bring both cables if my max's did die or vise versa

I agree with this If you are currently rocking an iPhone 12 or older. Since it will be a nice upgrade and will last a long time. But if you have anything newer, I would encourage people to wait for the 16 Pro. Since I think that will a bigger jump.

I think Apple will drop the 14 Pro from its own line up. As they always only keep the regular models. I don’t know about your country, but here in Slovakia the usual authorised retailers always have a bunch of extra units ready to be sold.

I have a iPhone 14 Pro, but it has poor battery life, overheating, scrolling stuttering and lags in some games. Software updates and reset with iTunes didn’t help, and even the Apple Store employee checked it and said that the phone is ok. Therefore, my options are: 1. Buy a 13 Pro from Apple Refurbished or Amazon or parallel importer store in my country. 2. Trade in my 14 Pro to the 15 Pro Max. 3. Wait for the 16 Pro Max because it’s a S year of the iPhone (since the 13 Pro), so therefore it will probably be more stable. What do you recommend to do?

If you can live with 60 hz and without the 3x zoom camera then I would go with the 15. Otherwise, if you can find the 14 Pro with a discount where it is just about 50-100 bucks more than the 15 I would go for it instead.

Why just? Maybe a slightly larger battery. Better pictures hopefully. USB-C, finally. Better battery life, I read from many people that their battery life is really not good now. Not everyone has an iPhone 14 pro. New iPhone will feel lighter in hand. Also faster charging.

Yea, those are all nice. I went from a stance, if you already had a 14 Pro or were deciding if it's worth the extra money for the new one. Since somewhere like over here in Slovakia the difference will most likely be somewhere around 3-400 Euro.

You can't review the 14 Pro and then say don't buy the 15 Pro, they have different chips and internal design. They are too different.

Damn, that's a huge upgrade! My last phone was also from the same year as the 8 came out. I remember deciding between getting the 8 or a Huawei P20 Pro. Ended up going for the android, since I never had an iPhone before and the 8 looked kinda too small for me.

Exactly my thoughts, whats the point of USB-c if the phone doesn't work properly with windows and on mac you airdrop regardless. Apple shoots itself in the foot time and time again.
