iPhone 15 Pro Max - 6 Months Later! 

So I’ve said this before on other videos, but I spent the better part of a decade or more with Samsung/android but this past October I decided to make the switch to iOS and get the 15 promax. One of the reasons for that was my previous phone, (Samsung S22 ultra) was a complete turd that needed to be charged something like 4x a day. The only thing it had going for it was the camera and that was the last straw for me. Prior to this I have never owned an iPhone, and I used to hate on them as much as the next android fanboy. But after making the switch, all of that changed. I have never had a better mobile phone experience with android I have now in the last six months with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. I have never had a single issue with it and it’s a joy to pick up. Battery life is absolutely amazing, I’ve gotten two days of use out of this phone already on multiple occasions. My biggest regrets so far is not switching sooner. I don’t think I will go back to android. Sure, they have a lot of things to offer, but I never used half of it anyway I’m good where I’m at, and look forward to continuing my journey with iOS. Strokes for folks.

I’ve been an iPhone user since the 4S (2011) and I just cannot see myself switching permanently. Every couple of years I get the itch and change to Android but it never lasts. I honestly don’t think there is much between them now apart from charging speeds admittedly. An OS designed for one type of phone will tend to always be better than one designed for hundreds of phones. My opinion obviously.

3:20 I've owned the iPhone 4, 5S, 6S, 8 Plus, XS, 13 Pro and now 15 Pro Max. The only hardware issues I had was the 5S where the screen started to separate from the body after about 15 months of use. Apple replaced it with a refurbished phone, no questions asked. And the 6S which had the battery issue, again, Apple replaced it no questions asked. I haven't had any other hardware issues and I trust Apple completely because I know if I have an issue, they will sort me out. For comparison, I had a Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra and it got dust inside the lens cover within 3 months and they wouldn't replace it because I had imported the phone (they didn't sell it in New Zealand). I won't buy another Xiaomi because they clearly don't care about supporting their customers.

I'm just selling mine. As you've implied, great for video recording but i just prefer Android overall.

I always use an iphone and have an android as a back up, but something about the way apple does things, my iphone 15 pro max, apple watch series 8, mac mini m2 and airpods 3rd gen they work together so well, i believe other company should work on their ecosystem as well and not just put all their focus on one product

I’ve tried a lot of brands including Xiaomi, Oppo, Google and Samsung and every one has one or more issues. I know people think iPhones are boring but they are the most consistent devices. Software and hardware are top notch and the Apple ecosystem is unbeaten. I used to want the customisation of Samsung phones but my needs are different now. Battery life, photos/videos, security and privacy. They matter more to me than being able to change my icons or customise my Home Screen. iOS 18 brings some of those customisation features to iOS if you are interested in that.

Funny, I'm the same way. I usually have a foldable and an iPhone Pro max as my pairing of choice. Right now I'm using a OnePlus open and a 14 pro max.

I love and appreciate your honesty Honestly most RU-vidrs nowadays are too scared to give apple any credit even though the majority of them use Apple products all the time. It's sad.

I have no idea about iPhones. I can't remember when I even touched and see how it feels in hand. I started using cell phones in 2006 but I haven't even touched an iPhone

My mom (then 65 years old) got an iPad and then a iphone 5 and she have almost zero issues using it. She used to have a Nokia with buttons, there were always some problem. Now (now 78) she has a iphone 8 and as it is exactly the same, no issues. So, iphone is the new Doro phone for elderly or handicap people. (She is struggling learning the new tv remote at the moment, maybe this is something mr Apple can fix)

I do agree about iphone 15 pm. I own both s24 ultra and iphone 15 pm and love them both. I used to use only samsung phones until this year but 15 pm and ios 17 are a big improvement and also usb c a must. Also i belive for a big phone the size of the iphone is better than the s24 ultra.

I bought a 14 pro max at launch to use for work. Other then amazng battery life i hated it..cant even plug it into my work laptop to transfer pictures lol. I went a year on it then went back to android...so much better!

Can someone tell the phone manufacturers that not all people are content creators that needs a 50 mega pixel camera that makes the phone have a huge bulb on the back.. But we still want to have a slim, high performance, foldable phone.. Almost funny when they say; its only 7mm thick, but the you cant lay it on a flat area without it wobbeling due to the lens.

Once I got taste of that Apple ecosystem, I was hooked and in love. No ecosystem works better & I have tried Google & Samsung knight long time ago. Windows sucks I won’t even go there lol

I have a 15 pro max and i dunno not really enjoying this phone compared to my 14 pro max

Its mind blowing people still don't realize Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi, Honor magic, Google , One Plus, and Red Magic are superior to IOS , I started with ios and Android changed my life years ago

It gets little love, because it's boring. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's bad, they're just too bland for this Android and Windows PC loving fella.

iPhones are a big pass for me. iOS is sh*t and all it have to offer is video quality. I carry 2 phones but both are Android.

After using a 7 plus for 5 years i had the exact thought that am not gonna spend more than $1000 on another iphone just for the 120hz display and moved to s22 plus. Sadly after 2 years of use am seeing stutters and lags even for regular usage which annoys me. Hence am moving back to 15 pro max and this time eventhough i know am spending more on that, i can be reassured that it's gonna give me consistent performance for the next 3-4 years.

I'm not a fan of either iOS nor Android; I just use the systems. I'm not a fan of companies at all. However, I've been using iPhone for more than a decade - since the 3GS - and I soon started jailbreaking, because I just can't stand how rigid and painfully cumbersome the OS is. Yes, I know that Apple, our holy father, know what's good for us, but I want to decide myself. The hardware quality is indeed superb. The video quality too, but I'm not interested in shooting video's, only photo's. However, I never missed iPhone since I switched to Android devices on a daily basis. I sometimes miss 3rd party apps, but that has nothing to do with the phone itself but with developers.

it's a boring phone, a status symbol for people who want to appear instead of being but little by little it's being androidized, this is my greatest satisfaction. I am incompatible with this philosophy, I am like Captain Kirk exploring new worlds...

My personal rankings: Build Quality: 4.5/5. The initial problems with durability of the iphone makes it tough to justify 5. Design: 5/5. Only apple can get away with such a boring design, because they are too good at marketing. Hate it tbh. Software: 3/5. Perfect for my grandma. Not good for me cus I need that sideloading lol. I am actually experiencing crashes, stuttering and heating issues though (on iPhone 12). Camera: 4/5. I want that 100x zoom. Very good across the board and offers the best video, but android is getting closer. Price: 1/5 ... #17.5

Iphones are garbage. My wife has a 15 pro and it is such a headache trying to use it. I use a pixel 7 pro and the iphone falls short in every catagory... Especially photos

My expectation for the picture quality is too high for this 15 Pro, i thought it would be better and will be a huge gap between this and my previous Mate 40 Pro, but sadly no. I would say for most difficult scenario, Mate 40 Pro will beat 15 Pro in no time. The only reason i switch to 15 Pro is only for the form factor, but must have the same camera set up from Mate. Why i sold my Mate 40 Pro? Because Huawei stop being loyal for their customer outside their mainland.
