Greetings from Ireland, I am the last person in my family to join the apple ecosystem. My wife has my old 7, my daughter has an XS Max and my son has an 11 Pro Max. On the 24th of April I received my SE 2020 in the post, and 😻 I LOVE IT! It’s super fast and uncomplicated , and battery life is fantastic. Just right for a man in his mid 40s! 64 GB is enough memory for me, as I only used 16 GB from my 32GB IPhone 7, plus my wife still has a spare original SE just in case the kids break theirs and they’re with apple getting repaired! Peace, stay safe 🙂

Did you guys replace the battery? What is the battery health percentage? If it’s around 80% you should replace your battery. In which case maybe buying a new phone is an option if you don’t plan on using the SE for another year or so.

GREAT battery, great camera, cool design. Bruh the XR is a no brainer. The A12 is still among the best chipset. The only thing the SE has over the XR is newer processor and maybe price.

@@Uncle_Drew0227 there actually is a big different. One can deal with thermal clocking better than the other, one overheats faster than the other and the other is faster than the other. Go with the 11 you won’t regret it

Thanks for the video Nick. Was thinking about the SE for my mom, she still using my 5 which the phone slides into a case which is actually holding the phone together because the top glass has separated from the phone, she like the size so it’s easy for her to hold, waiting for stores to open so I can physically see and hold to compare.

Definitely getting the SE, I got an 8 Plus and I already am light on using my phone daily (So smaller battery is no problem) . You confirmed it for me, lol. I love the Touch ID and I don’t know if I’ll get used to the smaller screen fast, but I’m glad about the A13 Bionic chip. I am so excited.

In India, iPhone XR is a better deal in terms of price. SE costs $150 more($555) when adjusted to local currency and XR costs a little less than the original US price.

What they wont tell you in reviews about the SE is that the older 16:9 display fails to show you stories made on newer taller screens on instagram… if a a text written at a very top or bottom of the screen on a newer phone it will be masked on the SE’s display and thats really bugs me…

I have the 8 plus and i've had plus iPhones since the 6 plus. I know it's a smaller phone but I can trade my 8 plus in for $250 towards the SE and get the 128 gb SE for $200. What are you thoughts on what I should do? I also have a dslr camera so the phone camera isn't a huge deal for me. Looking forward to hearing back! Great video!

Thomas Gulick I don’t think u should upgrade unless u really want a smaller phone or want that same design as ur iPhone 8 for more software updates much later down the road. One thing that will be definitely worse is battery life so u have to consider how much that’s important for u. There are rumors of an SE plus coming later so I would just wait for that or stick with the 8 plus as it’s still solid.

Iphoneland2 I Yeah that's what I was thinking as well. I'm leaning towards just waiting it out and see if that SE plus rumor turns out to be true. The 8 plus is still an amazing phone and kind of underrated in my opinion so there are no complaints with it. It really just comes down to the support for the device in the long run for me. iPhone 10 and 10s are extremely perfect for me the body is only a little bit bigger then the iPhone 8 but the screen is much better and bigger it’s amazing a small phone with a huge display

I have an iPhone XR and In my wallpaper settings the ‘live wallpaper’’ isn’t showing up.. is anyone else having this happen and/or know how to fix this?

I don't know Nick. I don't see in any way, shape, or form how the SE 2020 beats the XR. For me, the XR is still the best value of any iPhone on the market. 1. 6.1 inch display versus 4.7 inch panel from 2014. 2. Face ID over touch ID. The convenience here cannot be understated and I have many Android phones where the fingerprint sensors are better than Apple's. 3. Battery life cannot be understated. That is a HUGE difference between these two devices. 4. I'd say the real world speed difference between the A12 and A13 are negligible considering the rest of the tech used for the SE. 5. Front facing camera is important as well to many users and the 1080p@60 fps is a HUGE win for the XR. Dollar for dollar, in my opinion, the XR is the best value of any iPhone on the market.
