iPhone X Screen Repair, maintaining Face ID 

Hi, to get True Tone you'll need to program the screen, even if it's an OEM.

I get mine from a company called MobileSentrix.

No, that only happens on the iPhone 11 and higher. The X, XR and XS don't have that notification.

I suppose you can’t as this phone has long since been returned to the customer. This is the method that would be used to keep your Face ID though.

@@colchesterphonerepair3835 the questions is, why you didn't show that the face id still works

@@danielle-m1033 it should work, the reason the face id doesnt sometimes is because each face id module is programmed to only work with the original iphone it came with. this keeps it with the original iphone.

If you move the original Face ID part over from the old screen it will work perfectly.

@@raheelii___302 If FaceID is disabled, then it probably will not work after a screen replacement, since you're not actually repairing the FaceID module.

I have, but maybe I’m biased. So long as you’re careful not to damage the flex cable on the earpiece speaker, this is the way to maintain Face ID on all iPhone models.

Yahh it’s true i try to buy oem lcd and put the original face id in my new lcd and it work but true tone not
