The 5th generation iPod Nano is by far Apples best ever model. For such a small device it featured a larger screen from its predecessor, a camera, built in speaker, and more colours. It’s still the only generation that had a camera. I’m so happy I had mine through my high school years and recently I ordered another one on eBay. Just so I can own one again. Loved this video!!
Don’t forget the built in microphone, fm radio, to! Although I agree this was the best model, I don’t like how the battery expands throughout its life. They could of made it a little thicker, so it would be safer. I got mine with a new battery, for that reason.
a good thing about these is they can be used for the millions of ipod docking stations that will forever stick around thrift stores like herpes. Some of them have really good bass and dynamics and are like 5 bucks each, really worth checking out
Imagine people watching this one year later anyway I still have my iPod nano fifth generation and I still love it I store a bunch of movies on there LOL sadly the iPod click will games have gone away R.I.P iPod click all games but overall I think it’s a very good device for watching movies on the go if you do not have an iPhone or iPod since it is very portable like a very portable LOL
I have two iPod Nano 5th Gens. I love how lightweight they are... such a gift to be able to take your music with you this easily. What I want to know is: 1) Can you replace the battery if it stops being able to charge? 2) is a wireless bluetooth adaptor that can go onto my Sony docking station worth getting. I finally have a bluetooth speaker and would like to use my iPod to play music on it. This was a fun video and I'm glad to see that others appreciate this fabulous little piece of technology!
(Sorry that I’m replying a year later) 1. Yes, you can. But is it very difficult. If you can’t do it (very understandable, I can’t) you can send it in to someone to replace it, or you can buy a new one with a new battery. Question, does yours have a black imprint in the screen? Like a black spot, (doesn’t matter if it’s on or off) if it does, that’s the battery expanding and it needs to be replaced now. 2. Depends on how much you want to use it with your Bluetooth speaker. The heyday one at target is $25 and it goes into the headphone Jack. I have one to use with my Bose and I’d say it’s worth it, but I still use wired headphones.
I just got the 3rd gen, runs fine and I love the cd quality music that comes out of it, I’m getting a 5th gen classic as well. I got my nano fro cheaper than what he bought his for in the video, yet it came with a 3 month warranty and it’s box, manuals and stickers. It also was only ever used in a case and seems to have a brand new battery. It’s a silver 4gb model.
I didnt have one when I was younger. My mate used to have one and we always used to share earphones. We used to put it in the docking station and scream out the lyrics. I always wanted one when I was younger and when I had the chance to they stopped making them and they moved to the 6th generation and I was not happy about it. I then bought a Phillip's Go Gear Arias. Still keep thinking about buying an ipod nano just to say that I've had one.
I love the iPod Nano, my favorite ones are the 5th gen and the 3rd gen, one thing I absolutely hate about them though is the repairability. The battery can expand and break the screen, also its one of the hardest apple devices to fix!
Just purchased one. Sick of the screens breaking on smart phones and dislike how they steal your time and life. So I've also gone back to a 6310i. The sale of my iPhone I have thus far got a new phone (until 2033 when they turn on 2G in the UK), an mp3 player, and I'm now looking at a DSLR.
you can strap it to your belt, or have it in your pocket, recording encase you need to record. it is less noticeable than a cellphone and it does not require internet like cellphones too protect your privacy.
I cant upgrade the storage and replacing the battery looks like performing surgery but I wouldn't trade it for any other mp3 player. Like you said, it's like holding air. It's almost like it doesn't exist (probably why my first one back in hs went missing). Battery life (assuming you win ebay lottery or replace it yourself) is actually great. On a full charge I can listen to it on shuffle 8hrs a day at work for 4-5 days before needing to charge it again. They sync quickly but 16gb isn't a lot for some people so that hard limit on storage will always be a turn off for some people
As I have an Apple Music account and can download songs by paying the monthly Apple Music bill would I be able to put on these downloaded songs onto an old generation like this
I have one but my Windows pc do not recognize it. could some of you'll help me know how to fix it? I need to sincronize it, I didn't used it like 4 years ago. I will be so thankfull if you can help me.
