I havent had mine fixed, dont think I can find here where I am from☹️I think its the battery,it would only stay on everytime its plugged to a cable, how much was the battery?
You can try force restarting the ipod by holding the power button and the volume down (or maybe its volume up) button at the same time until it reboots. I would also try re plugging the digitizer flex cable as it may not be plugged in properly. If that hasnt worked inspect it for any tears in the flex cable. If that is the case you may need to buy a new screen. You can get them off of aliexpress i think i have a link in the description.
@@partspluspods3689 I have tried all of those things…thank you so much, I think I may have torn the flex cable, I still can’t really tell but it can’t hurt to replace the screen anyway. Thank you again!
perfect guide thank you followed instructions and fixed mine. one thing to note when replacing the screen everything was displayed upside down but if you go into the settings menu and find reset all settings and it will fix it.
