Featuring Ipswich bus No 1, the Corporations first motor bus, new in 1950, and registered ADX1 - the first three letter registration issued by the Ipswich licensing office. Not sure on the dates of this film, but I think the first clip is before restoration, and while still in the ownership of Ipswich Corporation Transport. The rest of the file shows the bus after it was restored, which was completed in time for the Ipswich Corporation Centenary celebrations in 1980, so it's probably around then.
The bus is now a resident in the Ipswich Transport Museum.
