Glare-free and safe on the road: The “IQ.Light - LED matrix headlamps” generate an ideal light distribution and light intensity via the precisely targeted control of up to 128 LEDs.
The LEDs are activated individually depending on the situation and adapt to the environment, so that the driver gets the best illumination without dazzling oncoming cars.
The responsible control unit evaluates the signals of the front camera as well as the digital map data and GPS coordinates of the navigation system to activate each individual LED of the HELLA lighting system. The process also incorporates current vehicle parameters such as steering angle and speed.
