I bought iRacing after 2 years. I'm back to Rookies and I suck. In this video I race Formula Ford and Formula Vee around Summit Point. Sub if u like silly cats or lowkey wanna kiss Verstappen in the lips. TWITCH: / strayraffa
have you modified your g29 to put out more toque or some thing? is that why its covered in... brown paper? been tempted by iracing but think i will stick to AC lfm. less expensive and the handling model is far better when you reach and pass the limit of grip. you can also get very good ffb on the ol g series wheels with some tweaking, was able to turn off the silly rumble motors for instance
The clamp is broken so that's just a load of duct tape. I agree for the price LFM ac is a lot better but the handling model of Iracing I must admit is simply better. Hard but better. I enjoy both although I stick mostly to ACC
2. Lfm and iracing and rookies All people say is “got to grind it through. Don’t race anyone. Start at back, clean laps. Farm sr. Give it 6-8 months and you’ll be able to race with people properly” Dudes, I jsut wanna race people properly from the go. Not in 8months time
I mean i dont think it will take anyone that long. A good strategy is to just not care about irating, get your licence up to b or a and then try to gain irating as it will be easier to race people who have better licenses
eh ive tanked my elo and sr in lfm ac but dont care.. once i learn the track im on pace and competitive but thats what gets me in trouble.. just finished in 5th at fuji speedway in the gt-r cup car with my wheel at 45 degrees for half the race due to getting suspension damage twice.. good times
Also, this is quite possibly the worst advice because the REASON you start out in rookies is so you can practice racecraft in a low stakes enviornment where its not THAT big of a deal if you crash, so if you just dont race at all by the time you move up in the ranks youll be horribly outperformed by everyone, and likely cause more crashes than other people.
Nice to see you do iRacing! I moved from ACC to iRacing a few months and I'm suprised how much I ended up liking it. Only downside for me is the cost. Not sure if you already bought content, but if you didnt my tip to you would be to ride the 6 months out in rookies and the free content in level D. After that you feel you are going to be commited to iRacing for the long term, make a new account and get the 2 year subscription for the maximum bonus. If you don't want to lose you rating than I'd suggest renewing your subscription around black friday for a good discount. Once you want to start competing in more non rookie series it can get expensive the first seasons. Buyin in bulk also helps bring the cost down because you get a discount the more you buy.
Thank you for the tip mate! Thinking of doing that. I got these 6 months through steam, won't buy any content I think. Later I'll make a new account through the website on black Friday
@@RaffaCampos51 You don't have to start over. You can simply email iRacing Support and ask them to move your account from steam to iRacing and nothing will change except how you start the sim.
I have done some simracing before, but recently bought Iracing and the rookies series are absolutely crazy bro, on the oval it was bad, but the Formula Vee bro...
@@RaffaCampos51 Laguna was fucking atrocious. At least with Lime Rock I could avoid the crashes but Laguna turn 2 was just unavoidable and always a dice roll.
2 comments from me to help the algorithms 1. I had iracing, but it hurt me to pay so much for cars that look like I drew them in ms paint. It’s where the people are. But the graphics man.
