Ireland fans put on a show in Paris against Scotland to top Pool B also known as the group of death. They will face the All Blacks in the quarter-finals. Whereas Scotland come to terms of another group stage exit from the World Cup.

@@haydengoodall6767 I’m in Dublin, I live a ten minute walk from the aviva stadium. I’ve seen drunk behaviour from fans of all countries which would turn me off, but I don’t judge those countries based off a few idiots. One drunk person saying F New Zealand is not representative of ireland. I lived with kiwis in Melbourne years ago, still great friends, we’re very similar despite being the other side of the world!

Irish fan here - she was a complete doorknob. Trust me when I say the majority of Irish fans are very worried about New Zealand. With the injuries we’ve just picked up in that Scotland game id put NZ as favourites. Going to be a cracker of a game.

Look at the equivalent video after the All Blacks Ireland game, the Kiwi fans are infinitely more gracious after winning - Ireland's trumped up entitlement was their undoing, telling of the Scots for believing they could even play them, you could feel the hubris coming.

Most of us have followed Irish rugby long enough to have more cop-on 🙄 Respect for the opposition should be inherent, or you're doing it wrong. Same for humility. Historically, we've been shit, that's just facts. We've been called chokers for not making it past a QF, but honestly, that's neither accurate not fair. Even when we've fielded good teams, we haven't had the depth to counter injuries. (Small population, smaller player pool, traditionally an upper-class sport - not an excuse, just fact). Not 100% sure we've the depth to counter the loss of potentially 5/15 first choice players even now.. *Hello* 2015 flashbacks I hoped never to relive again 😖 Expecting an Irish win is a VERY recent thing. Even confident of our chances, we tend to be cautiously optimistic. We learned the hard way to "hope for the best, but expect the worst" 😅 We've usually punched above our weight, but that new surge of arrogance is *bizzare* to most of us, and very much not the general consensus 🤔 Not particularly enamoured of RP right now though. Odd that of ~50k+ Irish supporters at the game, they found mostly the shittiest 🧐 Gets them the views I guess, but risks some subs... Eggchasers is my go-to these days, well worth checking out! Tim's English, but we'll forgive him because he's a rugby lover above everything else 😄 Not sure what else to say tbh. Sorry you saw the worst of us 😕 But hey, best of luck to all the teams next weekend! Should be some contests, and fingers crossed we get to see some great rugby 🏉💪

If any team says they think they can beat Ireland they are “arrogant “. Do they want to play teams who say they should lose? Anyway that portion of fans makes me Hope that NZ win. Come on Ireland you had a good run, we lined you guys up by losing against France. For us it was personal.I was so glad Ireland beat South Africa it set the wheels in motion, to meet in the QF's. For a whole year you guys rubbed it in about our Series lost in New Zealand 2-1 and reminding us who were the world number 1 ranked team, despite being World number 1 ranked team last time in 2019. We at least got our mana back, which was important to us, even if we didn't win the RWC. Respect to the Irish team a great bunch of players, don't ever give up hope, I'm sure the day will come when Ireland get out of the QF's but not on our watch, at least this time. Go Ireland. One lost doesn't define you, we know that well, as an All Black supporter. kia kaha.

Im a Kiwi & desperately want NZ to win, but Ireland does look like the stronger team. While the AB's are definitely capable of beating Ireland, it feels like 60% / 40% in favour of an Ireland victory. One mildly interesting (& somewhat irrelevant ) fact is pool play has finished with NZ having the highest points differential. (NZ +206, France +178, Ireland +144, SA +117). Only time will tell if Ireland has peaked too early

Funny thing, i was just thinking that Ireland have been improving at a very steady manageable rate throughout the Pool stages, I don't believe we have hit anywhere near peak yet. I think it will take another level to beat New Zealand next weekend, but it's available and I would argue it is almost becoming natural to this squad that they Improve week on week, these improvements become exponential eventually .. that's roughly where we are IMHO. beginning to peak at QF.

@@DougieFrank "They" said that about the AB's every time they didn't win the World Cup. It comes with the territory of being number one. You're expected to win the thing, and if you don't, you're labelled a choker. Most people have written the AB's off more than a year ago, including a lot of their own "fan" base. Ireland are the favourites and in many ways, the AB's haven't really got much to lose. The pressure will be on Ireland I believe.

@@DougieFrank IF the ABs lose its because of the arrogance of believing that the AB attacking game plan can bust open any defence from anywhere on the field! It will be a running attack vs the best defensive team in the world and as far as I can see - from a kiwi - we do not have enough smarts to breakdown the Irish defence! If Ireland lose its because their set piece has been exposed - like it was against the Boks - and the ABs were able to put Ireland under massive pressure! I will say this - completely from left-field - BUT if we had Grant Fox at first-five I would be feeling very comfortable right now about the ABs!
