This episode sees us leaving the top of The Connor Pass and the ride down the other side was even better than the ride up from Dingle! Yet more stunning views greet us as we wend our way down the narrow pass and yet again we are wowed by the amazing scenery and blessed again with great weather. We can really recommend The Connor Pass as a brilliant ride.
We stop off in Ballybunion for a coffee and pass the statue of Bill Clinton on the High St - we had no idea but apparently it was one of his favourite places to play golf! The route then takes us to the Tarbert Ferry to cross the Shannon Estuary - a short 20 min crossing and then onwards to our hotel for the night in Kilkee Bay - fantastic food and Guinness has become the norm!
The following day we were greeted with yet another day of sunshine which made our visit to the famous Cliffs of Moher even better. Just when you think the ride couldn't get any more scenic we then rode the R477 coast road which was stunning, before arriving at our final destination of Galway. The night in the Latin Quarter was brilliant which is more than could be said for our accommodation. We were really disappointed in our B+B as you'll see from the video - still, you can't win them all!
