There's a difference between racism and feeling your back is against the wall with no government help. When an indigenous population is struggling and instead of addressing the problem the government exasperates it,..... the people can only take so much.

It is another example from marxist playbook on how to dismantle social cohesion and current societal order. In this case it is Irish culture and heritage. It is called mid-level violence. The key is to attack physically or psychologically in a way that is clearly offensive but not offensive enough to cause immediate retaliation. Then repeatedly attack in a same manner to provoke strong response. Then label the victim as violent, dangerous, bigot, racist,... and tighten the screws, bring in new restrictive legislation etc. There are two other tactics present: 1. Mixing legitimate content with marxist propaganda 2. Opening Overton window further. If there is not backlash the mocking will be much stronger next time. People need to be more aware how this 5th generation warfare works.

The stereotypes are all made up, no Irish family is like that. Imagine writing about Muslims covering their women, not allowing them to go to birthday party's, the pub, telling them whom to marry. Not allowed to hang around with any boys. Go anywhere alcohol is sold. Not allowed to eat pork, jellies. Play musical instruments, wear gold jewellery. This is EVERY Muslim family, by the way.

Do you also know that this chapter was omitted from the Irish language version of textbook? The parents are generally more patriotic if they send their children to irish speaking schools in my experience, and much more likely to have a problem with this type of indoctrination, and rightly so.

Father you are correct on this. My children are late teens and over the years I've had to thrash out and deprogramme info that they have learnt in school. For example, there being more than two genders. The person who changes genders and starts the hrt; will be very different in 10 years 20 years. Yet the hormones taken at a young age will affect them long term. Certain children /teens may go through an uncertain time in teens and make wrong decisions. We just want the best for our children.🧚‍♂️🇮🇪☘️

In the good old days, Education used to about teaching pupils and students, how to think. Instead it seems that education has become not about how to think, but more about what to think. Thanks Father Brendan for your comments.

Strip the country of its culture, traditions, history and its Christian practices and full steam ahead with the one world government agenda. I’m Irish living in Australia and my heart breaks when I see the nasty practices of the Irish and EU government’s on silencing the people into submission and forcing the woke agenda on all citizens, eg the horrendous story of that wonderful family of Enoch Burke who proudly stood up for his Catholic belief and went to prison for it. Ireland divided will not stand. On a sad note here, when Ireland celebrated the abortion laws and gay marriage, dancing in the streets of Dublin, which was televised all over the Christian world news was an affront to God and opened the door to Satan. Now the children will be next for this evil attack on religious freedom. Prayer, rosary and genuine priests and bishops to return the people to the Latin Mass and favour with God and Jesus. Have had the fortune to live and work in this country for the las 30 years, raise our children here, in a world where the thought that it takes a village to raise a child, worked. I love this country with all my heart, have done so since my first visit since 1979. As a music teacher, my heart here often lifted. Gifted kids, easy to deal with kids, and my credentials are being chosen for a film called 'Making the Grade', with Irish and some foreign piano teachers preparing their students for their exams with RIAM. Not once have I experienced discrimination. Any emergency that occurred there were the neighbours, friends to rely on and as I hope we were to them. So my heart bleeds for MY home, the richest culture on earth, magnificent nature, tears at Tara, Monasterevin, at the museums, in the company of a student who was as history mad as I am and the luck of being a tourist here and at the same time living in wild Kerry. Extremely pissed off, excuse the language, with the woke virus being enforced now. God weeps.

I think this might be a roundabout way of describing a particular group of people who aren't Irish but have a very conservative religious outlook, who meet all the stereotypes in the book, who dont intergrate into western societies very well because of their extreme religious believes 🤔 They are using the Irish family example as an anology because they are too scared to use the real-life example without being accused of racism.

You remind me of my old respected and feared Cannon O'Leary from my old school in S Wales. 100 years ago in the S Wales valleys, the old accepted account of the ancient Britons was still taught and accepted. History was then rewritten so the old truth was designated as myth and legends. Although being the fourth generation Irish on both sides of my family, I am now Welsh. What I have noticed is that the modern narrative of the Native Briton's Cymry, is airbrushed, ignored and hidden by the mainstream echo chamber historical elite. Heddwch, or Peace from the valley and from St Patrick, Ireland's favourite Welsh man. Interesting fact, there are now more Alfgan hounds in the ancient island than there are Welsh sheep dogs. Very intentional indoctrination of the young going on. Im glad this has come to light. I left Ireland 40 years ago, 62 now 🙂. Family A never existed and aran jumpers were always super expensive… Im not convinced family B exist either, unless maybe they were all adopted. Learning a musical instrument cost alot too as did Irish dancing classes, so that was niche. Oh and we used to eat curry, pizza and asian food in the 80s in Ireland…and bacon and cabbage 😉.

I think it’s extremely racist and very ignorant and narrow minded. Every culture and race have their own unique norms and practices. Irish children should be taught to embrace own culture and practice as it’s unique. I live in a country that deals with every race and culture and it’s important to respect each unique culture including one’s own. On the racist issue, I engage in quite a lot of political debate online, and as a student of history politics and theology ever since I left school at 16 some almost 40 years ago, topics like National Sovereignty, cultural preservation, and in recent years Islam have been discussed often, and inevitably someone will come into these public debate situations and call me a racist, Race has never been anything I've ever publicly discussed, nowhere in any debate have I ever discussed the topic, mostly because I as a Christian man don't believe in such things, God made the human race. After some thought I have come up with a suitable reply to the accusations of racism, I ask who was the first person to inject the topic of race into a conversation not about race, this conversation is about national sovereignty, cultural preservation, or Islam, which ever applies, please stick to the topic of conversation or I will begin to think you are one of those racists who make everything about every racists favourite topic of conversation, Race!. I have never gotten a coherent response, mostly I just get blocked. Which in itself shows the motivation for bringing up race, to turn everything into a race debate. Thankfully I do not stray from the topic at hand easily, people are likely to try and steer the conversation off topic when they realise that you are way better educated than they are on the topic at hand, the topic of Islam is an interesting one because unlike the vast majority of people engaged in the topic, I think I'm probably the only catholic with a copy of the bible and the quoran at hand, just because it's good to know what one is talking about, another conservative Christian value sadly lacking in our modern world, God bless you Father.

A lot of people have covered this with equal ridicule, but missed the humour. The whole conservative/traditional/nationalist movement in Ireland is missing the much needed humour element to all this when it should be a powerful weapon, laughing at tyrants and all that. So Gaelscoil's. those irish speaking only schools didn't see that part. that shows bold awareness that they knew this would cause offense and depsite that kept it in the english version. to me. what this says is they are theying to weak irish pride. pride for your nation and your own people. for what?

I'm an Englishman and I think the Irish have one of the most identifiable and beautiful cultures on earth. I know they have had a terrible time with the British Government and we have had a turbulent history (to put it mildly) but every Brit I know today LOVES the Irish and hates what is happening. I think what is happening has made us realise how much we love the common cultures of our Islands. I think now more than ever, we need to join in our common quest to protect our heritage. I've become a bit obsessed with Irish history, customs, faith and folklore. And to witness these b**tards trying to undermine it boils my blood.

My wife is not Irish. She's half Russian and half Ukrainian. I gave her these descriptions of an Irish family to read. She died laughing at this silliness. She suggested the publisher should commission a series of descriptions of people from various nations of a similar kind.

It also teaches school kids of non nationals to ridicule and look down on Irish people
