These are the hardest working musicians in the industry. Home Free has been releasing over twenty videos a year and the Sounds of Lockdown videos were some of the most incredible and inventive ones. Their video producer and editor deserves a lot of credit.

They are good, but hardest working? There is a crazy Norwegian that release a new video EVERY Friday for the last 7 years. He does every thing himself (except if have guests) plays all the instrument, do all the singing, all the filming and editing.

I just love that Adam Rupp fully embraced the "been in prison so long I done gone crazy" character. I've heard the Johnny Cash original and never thought this song could make me laugh out loud, but Adam Rupp once again turns part of a song on its head. Love, love, love your reactions and will always keep coming back for more! :)

Home Free has two ... the other is ADAM CHANCE - here showing his chops on lead .... the boys all get their killer harmony as well as turns at the lead ..... just no one is near these boys. These guys are so hard working !!! Releasing a new video about every 2 weeks....this was filmed during the quarantine, so they all filmed this themselves & recorded themselves, then sent the files to their producer, who then edited the video for release....that was hard to do, but they persevered anyways !!!

It should be noted that there are a lot of Home Free videos, 40-60, I guess, that were done when they could either not get together at all or with only minimal co-location (such as American Pie and God Bless the USA). When you see them in fully different screens, such as in When a Man Loves a Woman or Peter Hollens's version with HF or I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For), it should be appreciated that each performer was either working with a click track and sheet music or at best with tapes of the others, karaoke-style.

Barry, another great reaction! Keep the Home Free coming - two new ones that are MUST WATCH are their cover of the Doobie Brothers, Listen to the Music; and also a cover of Need to Breathe's, Brother. You will be in awe on the first and in tears of laughter on the second. Adam's amazing talents, as usual, on full display with the gun being cocked/shot, the harmonica, the train and everything in between supporting the wonderful harmonies provided by the rest of HF - always amazing as well. For more harmonica (or no-monica as some Home Fries call it) you must check out their Huey Lewis cover of Working for a Living - a funny take on Anchorman; and also their Garth Brooks cover (video on FaceBook only due to copyright issues) of Ain't Going Down 'Til the Sun Comes Up. The guys did a great job of this Johnny Cash cover. Made it into a jazzy blues style. And they all look like some sort of criminals especially Tim & Adam. Remember this was done during quarantine so none of them were physically together. They were very creative during that time. Love the background train noises. Adam's beatboxing is crazy good & so is Tim's low notes.

I love this video and their version of this song. I have to laugh because every time I see this video I picture them as a Bonnie & Clyde era gang. You've got Tim the evil mastermind (especially with that grin when he hits that really low note) Austin, Rob and Chance as the bad asses and Adam is the loyal protective headcase they keep from totally going over the edge. This diamond should be in your collection. I would like to share with you my discovery. The voice of amazing beauty, power and depth, crystal clear, I heard from a beautiful girl and was fascinated by her. Her story moved me even more. At the age of 3, this little girl was found at a bus stop with a broken collarbone and other psychological and physical injuries. The child ended up in an orphanage, where her future foster mother worked as a masseuse. The story itself is a ready-made plot for an Oscar-nominated film. This girl is now 19 years old. She has about 70 victories in various vocal competitions. If you understand what it is to sing with soul, then this is about her. Diana also has a huge army of fans, and reactions are gaining tens and hundreds of thousands of views. The total number of reactions on RU-vid to Diana is about 13 thousand.

Tim showing off his super low bass, Rob showing off his soulful voice, Austin his beautiful high range, Chance has that rich texture in his voice and sings low (just not quite as low as Tim, but that is totally fine), and then Adam with his built-in vocal tool and drum kit. I always love to watch reactions just to see what people say about the music - the problem I have most is when people talk over the song as it's playing. A couple more suggestions with no beatboxing just harmonies that embody these very sad break-up songs -- 'I Can't Outrun You' and 'What We Ain't Got'. Thanks for your fine reactions.

Very interesting arrangement - I love Rob's fills, and would love to hear him have a bit more to do in this one. This is irrelevant, but are three of them 6' 4" - 6' 8"? Rob Lundquist looks like he's about 6'7" or 8"; Austin appears to be about 6' 4" and Tim looks like he's about 6' 4" also.

Please review “Auld Lange Syne”, it has tight harmonies that sends a luscious tingle down the spine. Also, one of the handful of times Adam Rupp sings instead of his super-human beatboxing!

Love Home Free. While different than Johnny's version this is actually very well done. I mean would I want a plain jane version or a new spin on a classic? I liked the new take. Thanks Barry and you are right their voices are just not fair, amazing group.

Only had a sec to leave a short msg yesterday, didn't have time to watch, just listen, but I was hollering over my work, "Barry, they have names!" 🤣 Anyhow, back to watch and catch your reaction. They filmed this during "ya know", each one at their own home. None of them are 6.8 inches tall, nor 5.0 inches, they were being their nutty self. I think Adam is so good because he can mimic anything he hears. They make the best beat boxers. You are finally seeing Tim's new short haircut. I don't like it. I like the long hair. If you cut yours, I will disown you. lol Great reaction. Love Home Free, not only are they talented, but they are also comical. Which is like our Barry. More! More!

Lol Lana, you’re mistaken these guys names are Bassy Boy, Beardy Boy, Beatboxing Boy………😂 yes I know all of their names but I’m having fun only referring to them by their “official titles” I’m guilty of this on my PTX videos and my early ABBA reactions. I noticed the charts behind them but being my PC self, I bit my tongue just in case someone could take my comment the wrong way. It was a fun idea for them to do that in the video. Yes Adam is amazing but I leaked his secret in this video. I’ve seen him carrying a big bag around with him. It’s true, it’s true, it’s true….. it’s not true. Yeah he’s unbelievable. Oh no!!!! Prepare to disown me Lana, that’s all I’ll say.

@@ItsmeBarry Sigh. My shaking fingers hovered over the keyboard pondering the necessary information my mind had to process at this single moment. Barry cut-off his long locks of love. Really? As in, ‘really-really’? No this cannot be, my brain screamed in denial. All the countless daydreams of running a hand (or two) through the silky “Look at this! Look at that!” strands of hair that glistened with more luster than I ever hoped to have. That hair? Oh! Please say it is not so. But if it is, do I disown him now or later? Pfft. Impossible! As long as he isn’t bald (and if that is the case, I’ll buy him a wig) there will still be hair enough to grab ahold of in so passionate a … Well, a girl needs something to dream about. 😁😁

@@StorytimeWithLana no chance of that happening. Although I did do the KardashiMan look a couple of times 🤔 I’m 90% gorilla so even when I regularly cut chunks off my hair it grows back before I leave the room. I’m sure it will be most noticeable on my next live stream. My hair looks short in most of my videos anyway so I’m not so sure it will be that drastic of a change for the majority of my BBs, most haven’t seen my long hair. Anyway, you mentioned bassy boy’s hair so I had a duty to fill you in 😂

When I have $ I like to share. On my grandkids it’s always for robucks. lol I love Johnny Cash. Having been brought up on country music I love it. Johnny was just different and stood out from others. I love Ring of Fire but Folsom was memorable because it started rumors of how Johnny was imprisoned there. He wasn’t but he did a concert there which I thought was so good of him! I read in the comment you posted after your last review that you might do a full song sing along one day. Q: How exciting is that idea? A: Very exciting! How would you choose which song or group? Do you have a favorite song you would love to sing? Some songs just need singing along! So what are you waiting for? Get to work singing! 😂😂 You could record it and play it like when doing a review and be live! We would love that💕 You could post an announcement first so we could be prepared to show up in droves! Loved the review on this song. The guys are amazing and whoever puts the songs together is really talented. It sounded like maybe Chris Rupp did that at one time but I’m not sure. Whoever does it is amazing, especially because the guys were separated by the lockdown. The show must go on! 🥴 You have a glorious day/evening/night and also weekend coming up. I know I don’t speak only for myself saying you brighten our day when you do a review! You just keep showing up with your sparkling & shining Irish eyes. Keep ‘em comin’! God bless you Barry! 🥰

@Jan Skaggs lucky grandkids, in more ways than one. They have my Jan for a grandma. Yes I plan on doing some sing along videos. I’ve harmonised a few times in my videos (I think the most I sang along was on this reaction ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XkzZjVYRtI8.html) I could do my own version of a song like on my ABBA cover ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RSBIakgWWWU.html I would love to do more ABBA harmony videos seeing I’m such a fan. I’d also like to jump in and sing with my a Capella acts, it’s fun to try find your spot in between so many voices, or do sing along livestreams. Who knows, we’ll see, but it will be fun for sure. I didn’t realise this was recorded during lock down they did a great job. (I had to edit this my auto correct keeps changing your name to Jen, I’m sorry about that) Thanks so much Jan. God bless you too.

@@ItsmeBarry I get so mad at auto correct but I certainly understand when things get spelled wrong. Barry! I’ve heard you sing bits and pieces of songs with the groups. However, I’ve only just heard you sing the full ABBA song. (I left a comment) You have a beautiful and clear voice! With the Internet today, you can get out there and follow a dream! I would also love to hear you add the harmony of your voice with others. I love harmony! This needs to be repeated. Your voice is beautiful and it’s also full of love for the music. Keep at it! Go for the gold! The world needs meaningful music. You know how music changes things! There is fear in our world right now but music can bring people out if the fear and give hope, help them feel love and experience joy in life! We learn more through music than any other way! I know you feel that because I see and hear it in your reactions! You have a spot between voices but also a spot for your voice alone. Don’t compare your voice to others. Use the gift God gave you - just you! Wow! I’m blown away! Keep at it! Keep sharing. We always need new voices singing! God bless you!
