It should be, but so many people up that direction simply don't bother. Mayo has a lot of level crossing accidents as a result.

It should but there’s more volume of traffic on it now and it should be an overpass. There was an incident recently at that exact crossing. Two lads lucky to have survived.

@@SouthernYard That does validate the crossing misuse somewhat though.
