I love this house. I live alone and this would be perfect size for me. I’d take the bunk beds out and put my craft area there. Enough room to paint, sew, or whatever else I may want to do and not clutter the rest of my home.❤
Hi Nynee! You have a full plan worked out!! Super to hear your thoughts and thankyou for sharing! Many kind regards Michael Lavelle Estate Agents Dundalk
Being a single empty nester this is the type of property that works in many ways, cheaper bills running a home, easier to clean, and no room for visitors beyond the couch and a blanket bed on the floor. Love it!!!
Hi Monkey Business! Noted! Thank you for tuning in and commenting! We take the feedback and use it! We really do wish to provide value sp stay tuned won't you?!! Kindest regards Michael Lavelle Estate Agents, Dundalk
This house is really cute. I would configure the furniture differently to have more of an open space feeling both upstairs and downstairs. Great home for a single or couple.
A cute little cottage! My cottage in Maine (US) summer rental is called AnTigin, so it was nice to see this one with the same little title. Mine though is 1,000sq ft. Thank you for posting this property.
Hi Patty, thank you for commenting and yes, it is such an idyllic setting so close to a historic town with all of the activities and cultural aspects that go along with life there!.. Superb little home. Thank you for dropping by and viewing ! Kindest Regards, Michael Lavelle Estate Agents, Dundalk
Hi Vanda. Thank you for commenting ...it really us a special home isn't it? You know where we are if you ver decide to make a move! Kindest regards Joanne
What a cutie! If I could move to Ireland to stay I would buy it. Such an adorable cottage that immediately brought me back to my former Irish Parish Priest who is from Dublin but lives in the USA. Love from Virginia USA
Hi Jean Isn't it ? There is a very welcoming feel to this home with lots of space yet very cosy and cottagey...! Of course it's location in Carlingford is also stunning! Thankyou for commenting and if you need any help just let us know ok? Kindest regards Michael Lavelle Estate Agents
What peppy little home, it's big on personality! I think it's cozy and brilliant to have the added bunk beds as well. Love the fireplace and the kitchen is practical and cheerful too!
Lovely and charming home. Needs a bit of staging. Remove the curtains downstairs. Get rid of the sectional sofa. Put the dining table in front of the window to the left of the fireplace. Put a small love seat to the right of the fireplace, in front of the side of the staircase. Put a simple queen Ann chair at an angle in front of the fireplace, put the table and light in between the sofa and chair. This will open up the room and have a good flow.
What an adorable, quaint little space. I live the deep inset windows and the walls in the bedroom. Just a lovely space I could easily retreat to. Actually forget retreating. Full time living sounds better!
Hi MollaCee So glad that you enjoyed! We absolutely agree with you. Keep your comments coming as well we love to hear them! Kindest regards Michael Lavelle Estate Agents
Very cute! The main thing lacking, for me, would be a clothing closet for the bedroom. I suppose the bunk bed space could be converted for that purpose.
Ooh me too! Imagine little lights running up those stairs on a little garland of eucalyptus … can’t wait to pull out my own decorations - not long now!
Nice property. I love the kitchen area with the deep recessed window. Thank you for allowing us inside. All Gods Blessings to who ever gets to live here.

Isn't that something now... such a cosy cute coastal Carlingford nest! Hello Anneliese and thank you for commenting. It's just the most adorable place..I agree! J
As God is my judge, I never thought I'd fall in love with a property, again, at 1st sight and it's been decades. I bought the last one, a remodeled vicarage on a small park circle in the city. This, a stunning use of space and materials, with great charm.
@@LavelleProperty Hello ! The family calls the vicarage 15, the house number. We made an obscene amount of money in our early 20s, bought it without seeing the interior and The park circle attracted like minds. Every home was unlike any other and authentic. A young musician lived across the little park and is now a famous symphony conductor, all residents of similar tastes. It is still in the family, one son moved out, the next one in, and quit a fine position to move across country to do so.! There is no shortage of family members who will do similar and no home on The Circle has ever been listed for sale. Family heirlooms, not houses. My best to you and all those you cherish. Patricia
My dream is to move to Ireland and that house would be perfect for me. I went to Ireland for 2 weeks years ago and I fell completely in love with it so I want to go back to stay.
Hi Lisa K, Glas that you enjoyed - it really is a special little home. Stay tuned and hopefully we can be part of helping you to achieve that some day! Kindest Regards, Michael Lavelle Estate Agents
Nicely presented. It's a nice little pad for a couple starting out or for a small 2nd home for weekends away. One question: parking. Will a small car fit in that gravel triangle in front of the house, or is there available parking nearby?
Hi Robin That has to be the top comment so far! You are definitely on the using this home as a retreat vibe! Thanks for tuning in and commenting Kindest regards Michael Lavelle Estate Agents
Hello Rocker! It q very easy property to feel tucked up and cosy inside...there's no doubt. Thank you for your comment and joining us on that video tour! Kindest regards @LavelleProperty
Adorable house! Lots of excellent details. Inspiring decor! Also, you have remarkable balance on that hill outside. I'd be leaning like the tower of Pisa.
Hi Redwoods - you are absolutely on the mark about this home. It is a darling of a home. Glad that you enjoyed and thank you for commenting. Kindest Regards, Michael Lavelle Estae Agents
Hi Seeleygirl A very 'nesting' vibe to it! Glad that you enjoyed...actually just to ask what is your favourite part of this home? Interested to hear Kindest regards J
Hi Katy Such an adorable home ...and location in fact! Best of luck with your search by the way! Thank you for tuning in Kindest regards Michael Lavelle Estate Agents Dundalk
I would buy this! Would pitch the sofa and the island table and replace both with a massive farmhouse table OR a breakfast bar that I could use as a workspace from either side and has ample seating for guests, to eat or play board games. The TV can go. Would probably ignore living room furniture completely. I would take out the bunk beds and build storage.
I loved the whole house. I especially love the windows. I live in the USA and I have never seen a house plan with windows like that!! If I ever get to build my own small home I will ask for windows just like those.
Hi Lynny It's harks back to a different era really doesn't it? A simpler time. So much character in a smaller space...but ut works so well! Thank you for visiting our channel Kindest regards Michael Lavelle Estate Agents
@@LavelleProperty I do love the architecture of those older homes in Ireland, Scotland, and England. There is so much charm but functional. Really no wasted spaces. Just warm, inviting and truly beautiful. I am a middle aged woman and a widow and that home would be perfect for me. I meant it when I said if I can build my own home one day, I want something just like that place. I just found your channel and I subscribed! I look forward to what is to come! Have a great rest of the day.
Hello Mairead! A little beauty isn't it?! Like to see more lovely homes...love you to join us by tuning in as we present! Kindest regards J Michael Lavelle Estate Agents, Dundalk
Hi Linda How are you? You've hit the nail on the head! Glad that you enjoyed and lots more on the way ( but not everyone can be like that!) Thanks for watching Kindest regards Joanne
Hi Laura That's that thing about Property and it's something that we love in that everyone has their own style and preferences and it's always interesting to hear! Thanks for commenting! Kindest regards J
I absolutely love this cottage, but I would make one major change...I would remove the bunk beds and create closet space. There's very little storage, aside from the kitchen cabinets. If I had an overnight guest, I would do as I do now, in my one bedroom apartment...I would give them the bedroom to sleep in and I'd sleep on the couch. I love the kitchen area, it's perfect! The price tag does seem a bit high for what you are getting, though.
Hi Ditto Head! We couldn't agree more...its a very very nice little home! Thank you for visiting and commenting! Kindest regards Michael Lavelle Estate Agents
