"Yorm! Stop you're surrounded!" Yorm: " Good, now i can attack in all directions!" It's funny because he's fighting in the same way he is described in his bio. Absolute unit.
I mean that was literally the lore "we are useless assholes, so Mr giant would you please carry us while we talk shit behind your back twenty four seven, to the point we cause you chronic depression"
I think x3 HP made Yhorm lose the fight because Even thought he had 85 000 health he got perma staggered and couldn't one hit the fire witches at the beginning.
Profaned Capital at 100% power: Yorm the Giant, Seigward, Court Sorceror, Headless Gargoyles, Jailers, and Sewer Beasts. Profaned Capital at 99% power: Yorm the Giant.
The Sulyvahn beasts were the only reason why Irithyll did so well. If Yhorm had killed them at the beginning, even the second round would have gone to Profaned Capital
It kinda funny because it makes sense lore wise. The people of the Profaned Capital loathed Yorm, hated him, but they all wanted to keep him for his power. He alone could protect the Profane Capital, with his strength and might, haunted by the hate of his own people.
@@RX0_GundamUnicorn Yhorm: What makes you think this time will be different? Sullivan: Because last time I wasn't bringing my best. Outriders, Vordt, and Dancer: *BREAKS YHORM'S ARMS*
@@TrashPandaPack the sole reason Onion boy needs to kill Yhorm is because they were the best of friends and Yhorm could only trust him to kill him if he ever strayed from his duty.
@@TrashPandaPack Yhorm told Siegward that if he were to ever abandon his duty as a Lord of Cinder, to kill him, and place his crown, so the fire may be linked.
I like how Yhorm just walks past the first wave of infantry fodder and heads straight for the casters. I also like that Sulyvahn apparently understands that Yhorm needs to be taken out and prioritizes attacking him.
"As a lord, Yhorm risked everything and fought unflinchingly as a one-man vanguard. Following the loss of the one he wished to protect, he forsook his shield."
Y’all really praising Yhorm for the carry but forget that Siegward literally spent 4-5 whole minutes buying him time to kill Pontiff while he solo’d the Beasts to keep them off Yhorm
@@pwegulian5351 true but they definitely would have helped in staggering him more while pontiff and him were going at it like they did in the second fight. hard to tell how much obviously cuz dancer also contributed a lot to that as well
@@TheUltimateMachineGod Yeah, he was such a badass that when people made fun of him for being a Lord he GAVE them a Storm Ruler just to call them out. That has to be the biggest flex in the entire DS trilogy (pun not intended).
@@TheUltimateMachineGod Then again the city seems to have no shortage of powerful twisted beasts and crazy people who will murder literally everything that's not equally deranged or twisted, so I guess along with a literal giant warior with a huge clever-like thing for a weapon only super ambitious and equally mad would be conquerors would dare to assault the city with more conventional armies, they'd atleast need some serious magic support to have a chance at holding their own forces together.
You see Pointy Sillyman in the thick of battle throughout, though. Yhorm charged head first and let his army get annihilated by the dogs (in round 1) and Vordt (in round 2).
I want Lothric Castle vs Irityhll City since they are technically enemies of each other for the very fact Sulyvahn wants to invade and rule over Lothric. I was hoping we would have Pontiff Knights fighting Lothric Knights in a great schism by the time Emma teleported us back to the Dancer boss room.
Every one: We are all fuccin scary monsters. Siegward: Oh ho, I need to cook some Estus soup. By the way I dont have a pot here....hmm mhmm...I need to use my head and think...
To be fair I think Siegward and the Gargoyles take the Sullyvahn's beasts away and damage them a fuck ton whilst Yhorm claps everything else, onion bro had his back till the end.
Gotta love how Yhorm just beelines to Sulyvahn to take him to flavortown. And really, this is literally underpowered Yhorm. He should be in perpetual phase 3 to simulate him in his prime.
Second round was unfair, like what...3 bosses plus a way larger army with more high class troops. It's so one sided/stacked, it seems he just wanted to make sure irithyll wins.
@@spacesurfer318 three bosses plus 3x health. Without the health boost yhorm would probably still win. Unfortunately for him, that health buff is what did him in and constant attacks to stagger and no chance to recover since he went right behind enemy lines and got surrounded. Though that part was his own fault and the irythillians took full advantage.
@@justadude3001 there is literally zero evidence beyond giant lord is called a conqueror and yhorm descended from a conquerer. That is the most circumstantial evidence there is. Simply disproven by he has a face. Vendrick is described as a great conquerer and was pretty big. I don’t in any way think there is a connection but it’s more plausible than the giant lord
I like how those close to the pontiff gradually become beasts. That is why the dogs have human skulls, and all the main bosses look like beasts besides Pontiff himself.
Let's point out that this really puts into scale the power of the Undead curse. Vort alone decimated half that army when he charged in. Yhorm not only defeated Pontiff, but tons of his underlings. These are legendary beings that shape worlds. And you defeat all of them. Maybe not your first time, but you keep coming back, and eventually stand on a throne of their corpses. This just gives a taste of the legendary battles that you hear about while adventuring.
@@slate3998 1 by 1 or all at once, with enough tries we succeed and beat them all, we are undead, ash, in a sense, immortal. They will eventually fall when you always stand back up with not a scratch, and more rations than you started with.
@@slate3998 I'm pretty sure that in a big enough Arena we could take all of them And even better if they can make damage between themselves But I think it's possible, maybe 4 fucking days trying but possible
They DID ALOT. I thought Yhorm had won early, until I realized the other creatures had taken so long to Prevail. Irithyll City has a wide variety of units who can handle all sorts of threats. Arguably the best in all of Dark Souls.
@@Rith9789 It is perfectly within reason that Yhorm could've taken the beasts down as well. The real problem was all the Outriders. They combined with Sulyvahn did so much damage that Yhorm couldn't possibly keep attacking through it. It did not help that in the second round, Vordt had gone and smashed all the Gargolyes and hands, of course.
@@Rith9789 for me i think cartus have the best army with their stackable percentage based dmg(bleed) and stronger ranged attack and even the motherfcking sand worm
I just love that anything Yhorm's involved in, he just goes completely absolutely fucking HAM. Even when he actually takes damage and has a chance of losing it just seems like he steps up his game and comes out the other end victorious somehow.
Second round was unfair, like what...3 bosses plus a way larger army with more high class troops. It's so one sided/stacked, it seems he just wanted to make sure irithyll wins.
Bruh I love stuff like this it always brings a smile to my face and makes me laugh manically like a kid watching a Saturday morning cartoon lol Yhorm went complete monster mode hahaha
Pontiff: Alright, I have a great army and two beasts there’s no way I could lose. Yhorm *rushing in the fight head first*: BOLD OF YOU TO ASSUME I FEAR DEATH.
@@Abby-lh1gc ringed city has midir, gael, halflight, judicaters who could win on there own, ringed city knights, harald knights, locusts, dragonslayer armour, ledo, lapp, shira, lothric knights, hollow clerics and ringed city slaves painted world has sister friede, random guy withouts pants who has a big dog and father ariandel. Those are literally the only strong people in painted world other than maybe millwoods and the malformed bird knights. So we all know who'd win.
Laddersmith Gilligan in fairness, Painted World also has Vilhelm, and those Millwoods/rapier Corvians would do a lot of damage before going down. Not nearly enough to deal with Midir, the Demon Prince, Gael, and the damn swarm of Ringed/Harald Knights, but enough to keep it an entertaining matchup.
Was definitely a one sided battle the second time around.. the outrider knights plus Dancer and Vordt tipped the scales majorly in Irithyll’s favor.. profaned capitol doesn’t have enough mini bosses for them to be able to contend.. still super dope to watch.. was hype af when Yhorm made it through the first round..
nothing could have prepared me for how excited i was the first time i watched this to see siegward there. i wasn't expecting him even though it makes total sense and seeing him next to yhorm, finally on the field as allies made me :^D
I wish you did more of the faction based wars. The demons, Farron keep with like 10 abyss watchers and the embered Abyss watcher, Archdragon Peak, Lothric, both DLCs. There’s still a lot that can be done with this.
