(12:33) Gael smites freide with lightning (12:54) Gael almost brings down Midir, but midir has the strength for one more blast of dark energy, saving his life and ending gael’s. (13:41) Yhorm gets roasted.
This reads like a Bitlife death screen lol Crystal Sage lasted pretty long before getting smooshed by one of the Twin Demons. Typical that the AW die early. I swear, the only reason why they were effective in their duty is because they had nerves of steel.. and unlimited respawns. A shame the Champ and Dancer died offscreen like side characters. Who even killed Nameless King? Did he die of toxic? What a way for a god of war to go Royce got fuckin' slammed by DSA lmao Freide looked weird when she killed Gravetender. I mean you could barely see the guy. I thought her AI just broke. Dragonslayer made a pretty valiant attempt to claim the head of a true Archdragon. Too bad Gael wanted to claim its humanity more. Gael got a cheap shot on it after Midir accidentally hit 'em with the tail whip of the century. Freide really played this one from the sidelines. Didn't spare her from the bite of Gael's blade, though. We all knew it would come down to Yhorm and Midir. Gael is strong but not as nearly as tanky, and Midir does a ton of damage and poise damage. Midir wins through stunlock. Not even Yhorm's fire invulnerability can save him from that one. It looks like the fire from his Rampaging Charge put Yhorm on his knees, wherein Midir bit him on the neck. A brutal execution.
Imagine doing a playthrough and every boss room is empty, then, in the Ringed City, when you pass next to the building with the bonfire in it, you just hear this going on, echoing from the floors below you.
Lorian: "You have my sword" Halflight: "And my bow" Dragonslayer Armor: "And my axe" Friede: "And my scythe" Gundyr: "And my halberd" Vordt: "And my mace" Wolnir: "And my bracelets" Deacons: "And our candlesticks" Ariandel: "And my B O W L"
@Calebe Eco extreme *"Thanks to that giant purple Lizard, We've a good relationship with the ground, we see it often, Today is like a normal day in the work for us"* . . . . ~The Knees Of Yhorm, 2021, interview by Nat geo Wild~
This is what happened when Midir invited everyone over to his man cave for Saturday game night and Yhorm the Chad just had to spoil it by saying Kalameet's place was cooler.
@@basedcringe9000 certainly isnt, its only harder if you're like 2 peoplr against him. But 2+ the damage output outweighs the deficit of ranged attacks
What's so crazy is that he got ganged up on more than any other boss because he's so fucking big and just takes hits from everything around him. Even with all of that, he still came out on top.
Me: They are just npc without any reasoning thought Also me: got dammit Yhorm, are you blind? The real problem here is Midir, stop fighting Santa Claus.
@@kiro253 I feel bad for Gael😂, if Friede weren’t hiding away from them and got into the fight earlier I think Gael could’ve one, friede just came in out of no where and hit the most brutal combo you could ever see and did about 8k damage in total to Gael😂
@@Nikyukuro Well he have more than 3 times the health of the second boss with more health (Midir) so it shouldn't be that surprising how long he lasted. What really surprised me was how Midir managed to win while having the biggest hitbox and thus being the one to be more likely taken as a target by other attacks (mostly Aldrich arrows). GG for our boi Midir
Me: "Is Aldrich even still alive out there." *Watches as Aldrich casually takes 11k health from Midir.* Me: "Oh okay Aldrich, you put in that work." *Watches as Midir throws a fit and finishes him off.* Me: "Oh okay, yeah that's cool, Midir, that's cool, I feel you."
@@jihyothegod2628 he also has the highest health pool besides yhorm who doesn't have damage that comes close to midir not to mention his attacks cover the most distance
@@yeetusfetus278 midir tanked aldriches arrows twice in another video called Gael vs bosses i think part 2 Gael barely won with barely any hp after Aldrich used his arrows once
@@kennethgrey7829 I didn’t want Gael to win because his lightning attack is kind of cheep (in my opinion) and due to dragons being weak against lightning I feel that it kind of evens them out.
I'm going to do a couple of highlights because this is simply so badass: 0:36 The battle begins 0:43 Midir does a massive fly-by roasting at least 80% of the contenders 1:06 The arena falls into darkness (Aldrich spell, I think?) and you can see the flaming effects of the two Souls of Cinder, the abyss watcher, Father Ariandel and the Old Demon King 1:47 The Old Demon King AoE attack collides with Ariandel's AoE as well the Demon in Pain, if I'm not mistaken 2:35 Again Aldrich darkens the arena, and you can see the Old King AoE, The Nameless King using his lighting and Ariandel going nuts with his cereal bowl 3:18 Midir does his laser attack for the first time, hits most of the bosses 3:39 the battle turns into two major skirmishes 4:56 there is now three battles going on at the same time, on the left the Deacon vs The Dragonslayer armor, in the middle further away Gael first phase vs Friede (I think) and in the far left a complete shitshow of Gael second phase, Soul of Cinder, Yhorm, Demon in Pain and Midir 5:35 Midir goes into phase 2, time for that sweet AoE BABYYYYY 6:25 Yhorm vs Gael phase 2 vs Dragonslayer armor, meanwhile Midir vs Ariandel on the right side 7:29 after beating the Deacon to a pulp for half the fight, finally, Dragonslayer armor falls at the hands of second phase Gael 7:32 and so, the final four stand: Yhorm, Gael phase 2, Friede (where the hell is she?) and Midir 8:28 Yhorm goes into phase 2 in the middle of Gaels lighting strikes (pretty badass ngl) 8:54 Gael and Yhorm team up vs Midir 9:04 Midir tells them to fuck off with an AoE attack 9:34 enter Blackflame Friede, she rejoins the fight out of nowhere to get instantly bitch-slapped by the Arch Dragon 10:27 Midir vs Friede on the background, Gael vs Yhorm on the front 10:44 the four of them collide and have a cool quick clash before returning to 1v1s 12:30 once again the 4 clash, Friede jumping with her blackfire, Yhorm smashing into the ground, Midir using his massive firebreath attack on the floor and Gael summoning lighting 12:35 Gael finally takes down Friede, good try on her side, honestly. Only three remain 12:55 at this point the fight could go to any of them, but sadly Gael goes greedy and ends up tanking Midir massive AoE, falling defeated. The final battle will be Yhorm vs Midir 13:06 Midir dodges Yhorm's overhead slam and gets a lucky stagger 13:14 Midir manages to once again dodge Yhorm's attack, avoiding a critical hit to the head in exchange for a smaller one to the arm. Midir makes Yhorm stagger once again 13:29 the fight is very tight, but Midir keeps staggering Yhorm for free damage, it starts to look dire for the giant 13:37 Yhorm goes for a final charge but misscalculates and Midir charges in to get a final stagger, followed up by the final hit that takes down Yhorm, the lone giant has fallen, Midir is the winner I was rooting for him since the start (as you might guess from my name lol) really cool video, so damn cool, good job dude!
@@PiccoloNamexio 10 month old comment, I used to have a meme name referencing Midir but got a shitty job and had to change my name to something serious
After seeing how much Midir dwarfs Yhorm I thought of something mildly terrifying What if you just walked into a boss room and saw Yhorm riding in on Midir
I know how that would go if they showed up in front of real people. I’m not a fan of marvel movies, but that scene in the first Avengers where Loki showed up in public, showed a fraction of his supernatural powers, and then screamed, “KNEEL!” And everyone followed through…(accept for that one WWII survivor) I’m pretty sure seeing a humanoid bring a beast like that to be his ride, and his size itself…just hope you’re standing on soft carpet.
My money was on Yhorm from the start. Sadly he just didn’t have the damage output to keep up with DLC. It was extremely funny just how long the head deacon lasted and how he went out
Its a shame that yhorm lose due to his attack animation, he keeps hitting midir wings with his head and attacking at nothing, like he got backache and can get straight hits jajaja, midir won due to basically all his attacks are AoE attacks and yhorm goes machete to my feet yeaaah!
@@leroyrenedanjou3931 Was about to say the same thing about D&D lol. I always thought dragons were pretty stupid--big magic lizards not being my thing--until I DM'd a fight against a black dragon. The acid breath + diving underwater + darkness lair actions made for a dope af battle.
There's already like 1800 comments on this video. Just want to say that this is one of the coolest things on YT, that this channel is exceptional, and that I kinda feel like this is exactly the sort of cool, weird shit that the internet is for.
I'm proud of my boy dragonslayer armor. Didn't expect he's make it that far and he had to be done in dirty by midir's tail swipe at the end leaving him open to gael in their 1v1.
Ok, at the end his usual AI kicked in, but for 99% of this fight, Midir fought better than he ever has before. He spammed his best moves non-stop and never stopped moving.
Ohhh! Yhorm was so close to kill Midir. It's also interesting that Friede is able to survive to fight against Midir ,Gael and Yhorm at the end of the match. Thanks for this amazing video.
Fortunately for Friede her AI blessed her with ranged attacks that kept her out of harm's way for a while. She did put up a hell of a fight to Gael though.
@@sylphiafox I don't consider health to be a problem so much as her lack of poise. If her combos wouldn't get interrupted as often Elfriede would be insanely dificult
Friede mostly got lucky because she was standing in her default position and was out of aggro range of her enemies. She literally started to attack when Gael yeeted himself at her while trying to hit Midir.
Oh man.. The irony of the last two contenders is tragic since they both would've probably been on the same side if they weren't hollow. 😔 Regardless, that was so dang cool to watch!
Yhorm, gael and Midir: Viciously fighting each other Friede: I've mastered the hability of standing so perfectly still, that i become invisible to the eye
Coolest video I have watched in a while, thank you, I was rooting for my boy Midir since minute 1. Coolest part was 0:43 when midir goes 'fuck it' and does a massive fly-by roasting 90% of the contenders. What a beast.
Old Midir was flying around The Ringed City like a big playground When suddenly a Crystal Sage burst from the shade And hit Midir with a magic grenade Midir got pissed and began to exhale But didn't expect to be blocked by Gael Who proceeded to open up a can of Gael-Fu When Iudex Gundyr came out of the blue And he started beating up Slave Knight Gael Then they both got nailed by an Aldrich arrow hail But before he could make it back to his holy cave Cinder Lord Gwyn popped out of his grave And so grossly incandescent had he shone As he blew Aldrich away with a plin plin plon But then he got parried and he ran away Because the Chosen Undead came to save the day This is the Ultimate Showdown Of Dark Souls History Good guys, bad guys and explosions As far as the eye can see And only one will survive, I wonder who it will be? This is the Ultimate Showdown Of Dark Souls history
Our little man is quite literally a god. With enough stamina and good timing he can roll his way out of anything. His rolls render him invincible for that short period of time. Enough to make any attack useless.
In some parts of the video, I hoped that some attacks and spells would be more destructive (bigger radius), to demonstrate the bosses' true power, but I then remember that they were all (except midir) designed for little man.
My favorite Yhorm moments. The lightning coming down as he embers at 8:30; one of the coolest things I've seen. Also watching him walk into the flame cloud at 3:30.
Nah midir have almost 100k hp...which mean even 1% is a 1k hp...unless yhorm somehow able to do the 2handed short chomp(can deal over 1.4k dmg) than he can win...the punch deal like 200 dmg
@@morzorkatvfm no rampage attack is programmed to be trigged twice while in phase 2....he will go rampage attack once and then turn and do it again :( and imo that attack deal the most dmg to yhorm..over 8k dmg sometime even reaching 13k
@@recipefordisaster5740 If Yhorm's knees didn't decide to head out everytime he gets hit BY FIRE WHICH HE'S IMMUNE TO he would win everytime against Midir
Surprised and super pleased to see my Lady Friede survive for so long. I was rooting for Gael, but Midir clinching it is also good. A massive fuck-you dragon imbued with hundreds of thousands of Humanities? Uh yeah, makes total sense.
I can imagine the player character was off screen, absorbing all of the souls gained from all of this carnage lol. Just chilling by the bonfire somewhere
Aldrich hung in there longer then I expected, I figured he would never be able to get far enough away from the other bosses to avoid getting hit and it doesn't take too much to kill him.
Highlights from this round for me were: 1- Archdeacon surviving longer then expected and fighting DSA head on while screaming. 2- Lady Friede surviving till the end and helping the big boys. 3- DSA going head to head with Gael and stopping him from going berserk. 4- Gwendrich Darkening the whole Area as the other worldly portal opens for Arrow rain. 5- Midir taking insane punishment while dishing out twice the hurt on his fellow bosses. 6- Midir winning and announcing his victory with epic Fire Breath. You should make a series out of it, and take out the winner from each battle in the next round.
Ah yes. And once again, Midir proves to us that we are worthless by showing just how puny every other boss is and that his only purpose in life is to make us feel unending regret.
2:34 That moment is straight out of anime: Arrows comming from cloudy sky, fire spreding throug the ground and lightning hitting everyone on the battlefield.
This was amazing! Of course, the last contenders are impressive, but at some point, I saw that Aldritch's arrows did a massive 11817 damage to Midir alone, not counting the damage he did to the other unlucky passers by. Visually impressive too!
