You should remove it first. It makes things easier. I removed it just prior to reinstalling the wheel. There are 2 bolts that hold it on. Just remove the bolts and gently hang it off to the side. I don’t remember what size bolts they are.

Ours is 36mm on one side and 28mm in the other.

I use a digital caliper to measure proper wheel alignment. As far as belt tension. I follow the manual recommendations for adjustment.

No they are tubeless.

Yeah man, the more important part is getting the harley brand ONLY. As all the other aftermarket tubes are known to blow up with only a few miles
