+Hector Älfvåg It's both the way he plays and also how he sets his amps up. Lots of bass players assume because it's called a bass that you should turn the bass on the amp all the way up. Steve has the treble and the mids up higher than the bass on the amp.

IMO Brave new world is Over rated,m while Final frontier is cruely under rated. Dance of Death is actually a brilliant album as well, besides the ugliest cover. My favoriute of the new bunch remain MAtter of life and death... Which often gets bashed...no idea why as it is brilliant from start to end.
I saw them do El Dorado as a stand-alone song from this album on the first leg and then a bunch of it from this leg but as you say they’ve not played a thing off it since . I agree it’s a shame some great songs on Final Frontier

@Martin definitely, why so many fans are so dead set against him is way beyond my understanding, some blame him because of his awesome performances on stage, some blame him for " not playing the other guitarists " solos just as they do, but to me the guy´s an ace...
Janick is as good as Adrian and Dave and each of them have their style. Adding Janick in the band was certainly one hell of a good idea. Thanks Maiden for that!
Janice has written the best song on almost every album since Fear of the Dark. The live shows would also have a huge miss in energy without him. Watch Live After Death and then watch this, he makes such a difference in the vibe.
I'm as guilty as anyone to have been harsh about him in the past. End of the day, Bruce wouldn't have picked just any old guitarist for his solo album & the same with Maiden. He adds so much in terms of writing & overall excitement. In solo terms he has his moments but remember who he's playing with. Dave Fucking Murray & Adrian Fucking Smith!

The Chilean public is Maiden's favorite, it is known, it is a matter of seeing the energy between the crowd and the band, also there in Chile are the concerts with the largest audience. (Rock in Rio does not count because it is a festival where many bands play)
Love Janick or hate him, he does provide visual entertainment. He’s alright. It’ll be weird if he left Maiden, as he’s been in the band for a while now. Besides, I can’t imagine Dave or Adie lifting their leg up high on the side boxes or doing the twirl and other dance moves that could put pro dancers to shame. I first saw Maiden supporting Priest. Great punk band with long hair. I’m 57 now I’m just glad Maiden are still here in 2018. Carry on guys. Put the new world order of pop music to shame. I’ll support you all the way. Great band. Great musical ideas. Great music.
Raja Rahman I´ve finally seen them live, for the first time ever...and their incredible music and downright phenomenal performances lifted the ROOF....I was first to the barrier less than two meters away from Steve and Janick and especially Janick took the show to another dimension...at one point I was literally being crushed between two big guys and what happens ? One security guy AND Janick came and gestured the guys to give me some space to breath..and I´d NEVER expected that from a guy on stage.....but I´ve always loved and admired him to bits, and it was really great to read your comment, thank you !!
Maiden, one of the few bands to indeed put pop music to shame. So happy to see they're still performing as good (or even better) as the old days. And their music help me a lot in this life. Thanks Maiden.

I have been to some concerts of really big bands, but none of them had a power like maiden. I can not believe how good they actually are on the stage. They are as powerful as Metallica was at the end of the 80's, and that is my friend... that is a huge compliment.
