1991 when I was 18 years old, I had a job at an IHOP restaurant. After getting off work every night I would walk across Fort Logan National Cemetery. Half way through, I would sit next to a pond and hear the Ducks flapping their wings etc. Then I would continue my long walk all the way home. It was an Unforgettable experience under the moonlight.
My mom and dad were metalheads from 1984 to mid-90s when they were young 13/14. They had me very young (17/18) at the very end of the 80's. The sound of the guitars instantly takes me back to being a kid at backroad keggers. I can still smell the aquanet, empty Budweiser cans and Marlboro lights. It's a strange, comfortable nostalgia.
I am a man who walks alone And when I'm walking a dark road At night or strolling through the park When the light begins to change I sometimes feel a little strange A little anxious when it's dark Fear of the dark, fear of the dark I have a constant fear that something's always near Fear of the dark, fear of the dark I have a phobia that someone's always there Have you run your fingers down the wall And have you felt your neck skin crawl When you're searching for the light? Sometimes when you're scared to take a look At the corner of the room You've sensed that something's watching you Fear of the dark, fear of the dark I have a constant fear that something's always near Fear of the dark, fear of the dark I have a phobia that someone's always there Have you ever been alone at night Thought you heard footsteps behind And turned around and no one's there? And as you quicken up your pace You find it hard to look again Because you're sure there's someone there Fear of the dark, fear of the dark I have a constant fear that something's always near Fear of the dark, fear of the dark I have a phobia that someone's always there Fear of the dark Fear of the dark Fear of the dark Fear of the dark Fear of the dark Fear of the dark Fear of the dark Fear of the dark Watching horror films the night before Debating witches and folklore The unknown troubles on your mind Maybe your mind is playing tricks You sense, and suddenly eyes fix On dancing shadows from behind Fear of the dark, fear of the dark I have a constant fear that something's always near Fear of the dark, fear of the dark I have a phobia that someone's always there Fear of the dark, fear of the dark I have a constant fear that something's always near Fear of the dark, fear of the dark I have a phobia that someone's always there When I'm walking a dark road I am a man who walks alone
Dear reader, I don't know you and you don't know me, probably we are not even living in the same country, we look different. We speak different languages, maybe we are from entirely different generations. We are just complete strangers, but there is something that connects us. We both have great taste in music! Thank you for being here. God bless you, whoever you are! @gustavo_liborio_

bruce is one of my all time favorite singers his voice is just something that you'll forever remember, and yeah its weird how he sounds almost the same studio and live thats talent
Every video I've seen of maiden is that they just seem to thoroughly enjoy what they do. You couldn't better their interaction with the audience, that's why their live shows are awesome!
Perfect! Those were the times when HEAVY METAL was ruling the world, that's why the mood was optimistic and things went well for almost everybody. When majority of the people are positive, things get well for all. And this music, including Fear of the dark, Be Quick or be ... etc should move us on. Let the music guide & teach us! Looking forward to see the IRON MAIDENS live in 2018!
Actually hard core tungsten carbide.. Eat bottles shit glass howl at the moon dudes... not being commercial at all... raw with awesome mid and awesome bottom... take it away maiden and let bill and Ted salute u in all things metal
Wow, no fucking mobile phones. People actually enjoying the concerts with full presence. Iron Maiden at Ullevi here in Göteborg this summer was fucking amazing. Bruce called the crowd brilliant. Enjoy life!
Samuel Greenwood It was fanastic. I wanted it to be the best one, I prepared for it mentally, like going there with an open heart. Yeah, one of the best. The best this year out of the 7-8 concerts I been to.
Zec Gaming Grymt, just hemkommen från Volbeat - Scandinavium. The Book of Souls turné fortsätter nästa år.
I'm happy that you chose an Iron Maiden song. And what song you chose. THIS is the reason why we are metalheads. THIS is the love for music. THIS is the reason we walked through life with our leather jackets and thight pants, why we have long hair (at least some of us still do), why we have band shirts and name it all. This music isn't only exciting, but it really is music! Iron Maiden has always been one of the top bands, and yes they are still going strong! Check out an audience to one of their concerts. You won't find an open spot in the crowd, and everyone knows the lyrics and singing with passion. We even know every single riff and solo in every song. Thanx a lot for bringing this. Because this is our passion. This is the music we are born to love!
I have am listening to this song. One side of my heart in pain. The orther side thinking with nothing but love. My dad loved this! And i love my daddy!
That beautiful, you can see the enjoyment on their faces, those are faces of people who love music. Like no edgy facepainted screaming cry babies, just smiles and pure fucking talent.
Sempre me vem à mente! FEARRRRRRRRR OFFFFFFFFFFF THE DARRRRRRRK!
oooOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO love singing along to this song on concerts

Up the Irons my Blood Brothers. This song gives me Piece of Mind. I feel like im in a Different World when the clock hits 2 Minutes to Midnight. This Fear of the Dark gives me Infinite Dreams i can't deny. Be Quick or Be Dead 🤘
It pissed down all afternoon, didn't it? :) I stayed out for WASP but repaired to the beer tent until the rain stopped and Uncle Brucie took to the stage. Loved the Bring Your Daughter sing-along!
I was there as well. Travelled down in a coach from Glasgow with 5 mates and 50 other maniacs. Got soaked, got pissed, got soaked, rocked out to some amazing bands and travelled back to Glasgow muddy, tired, hung over but well happy
