I’m seeing them in October 24 and I’m going to England next year and they are touring there for the run for your lives your so hopefully I can go to one of those shows too
@@SonnyPaintsI once went over West Ham FC with Paul Dianno and Clive Burr's drum tech Steve Loopy Newhouse to watch West Ham v Newcastle. That was a long time ago 😢
History of Iron Maiden is perfect documentary. I definitely want them to continue that series! I'm not really interested in another take on early days.
It would be nice if they could release every album from 1980 to 1997 with all the B-side songs attached to the albums in question. This would mean Virus and Doctor Doctor as B-sides to Virtual XI. Since they never belonged to any particular album.
I'm seeing Maiden next Monday on Portland, OR. I'm super stoked for this one because the first concert I attended was Iron Maiden's Somewhere In Time tour (Somewhere On Tour) back in the late 80's with Yngwie Malmsteen opening. I hope they have a tour for Seventh Son before they retire. I missed that the first time around and am still kicking myself because that album was a masterpiece!
@@angelhuezorocks i've listened to "No prayer..." the other day. It's still a good record (8,5/10 maybe), of course not as good as SIT or SSOASS, but i still don't understand the hate it gets.
Of course I would watch it but I have my reservations. But Netflix being involved .. I don’t feel so confident about it… and surely that would involve Maiden giving some rights to Netflix and I don’t see Steve doing that.
You forgot Adrian Smith gluing himself to the stage to just stop oil and Dave Murray stopping the show every other minute to film his viral cooking TikToks
As a fan for 42 years I think it's time for them to retire and enjoy the fruits of their labor. They still sound great but life is a fleeting thing. All work and no play makes a something something. Especially with Nickos medical issue etc. I personally think it's Steve pushing it on.
Maiden is going to release part 4 of the History of the Band next year. They will be touring in support of that documentary, therefore only the first 9 albums will be featured. This is similar to the Early Years, with Eddies Rips up the world tour with only the 4 first albums, LAD with Somewhere back in time tour with only 6 albums plus Fear of the Dark and Maiden England and respective tour with only the first 7 albums plus Fear of the Dark.
I think from memory that Harris is very hands on with video content on Iron Maiden. I remember a quote from him on a dvd mpg2 encoder software called Mpack from Astarte. This may be a fever dream but he was going on about how the encoder captured blue best on flickery live footage. Somebody can correct me here if it’s a broken memory.
Saw Saxon for the first time a few years ago with Priest. Their last two albums are ass kickers! Previously I only had a best of with the hits. Saxon and Accept are still going strong along with Maiden and it is a beautiful thing! 🤘 🤘 🙌
The video mentions exactly that this news about the so-called Netflix is fake. There might be a docu but nothing is announced, and won't be on Netflix for all we know.
There was a three part series I found on RU-vid that documented the history of Iron Maiden. It was really good, but only went up to seventh son. Was waiting for a part 4&5, but never saw them.
I believe that fake news does not deserve a lengthy video. Kudos for bringing this to the spotlight, but a short video would cover the topic more efficiently imo.
Some documentaries on Netflix tend to be good, I guess it would also be the case if there was one on Maiden. Although it might not top the Flight 666 movie. I'm actually travelling from the UK to the USA to the Aftershock festival in California, where Maiden and Priest will be playing this weekend. I intend to do a vlog there, and will dedicate it to the Metal Pilgrim channel! 🤘
Yeah and it was still interesting and i hope it would be a continuation of the history of Iron Maiden because i also thought why it hasnt been realesed since then when it said to be continued but we have as always just have to wait but that the video was going to be realesed today says that we may maybe get the video this week and this video was something. Hope for the continuation of the history of Iron Maiden
The latest part of the History of Iron Maiden series was a huge let down. The editing was dreadful with the boxes in the corners. I can't believe that one went out to DVD.
I think I'll just hop on over to Iron Maiden's RU-vid channel and watch the three part, three hours they uploaded called "The History Of Iron Maiden" without paying Shitflicks a penny thanks 🤘😂🤘
The Netflix thing? This is just someone playing with AI and thinking themselves quite clever. Have I ever said how much I hate AI? An Iron Maiden documentary would be "Eddy T. 'Ed and the Band What Supported His Magnificent Career." Just as a suppose, if James does leave Metallica the band would be over. That is unless they replace him with a cat and rebrand as Mewtallica. Oh. How many people are going to think that's a typo. Just to be sure, I'll type the feline band name again. Mewtallica. ****Disclaimer**** This post is not AI. AI is funnier than this poster. ****Disclaimer****
Pretty sure any documentary would avoid discussing the sacking of the genuinely talented Clive Burr in favour of the massively incompetent Nicko McBrain
If that’s going to be 2hr documentary film, than it will be about nothing. It’s too much of history to compress into one film. Even the original 3 part series is something like 4 hrs long, but is very superficial fast and incomplete.
I saw Iron maiden in the Cart and Horses pub in Stratford East London in 1976. My old school buddy Paul Mario Day was making his singing debut that night and I didn't even know he could sing😮 He now lives in Australia. We still keep in touch 😊
These pages and press releases are all written by AI designed for clicks. Same as all the FB pages that say "Happy Birthday to 'insert rock stars name'." These posts are never on the person's Birthday, it just generates clicks, likes, and comments. FB is just an awful place. Needs to go on the scrap heap along with MySpace and Bebo.
We really need ANOTHER one ? Here it is in a nutshell. Maiden was incredible in the 80's. Then ... Steve got stupid, changed the music direction, fired Adrian, and hired a dancing clown. Their music began to really suck, and hasn't been much better with their progressive rock sound since the reunion. They still have a dancing clown in the band, but I'm not sure if his guitar is actually plugged in. The only people that enjoy what they are doing now, are the ones that missed out on the 80's & have convinced themselves that this shit rocks. There you go. Bring it on all you 20 and 30 year olds !
