I love the vibes of the old Marvel vs Capcom game Definetely old games having something special Maybe because is something related with my entire childhood Great content bro as always keep going the killer work
There's also something very charming about the spritework. Something about seeing these solid-sprited effects instead of HD effects always feels just... Right. Crunchy. Consistent.
I wanna hear "Hyper Combo KO!" in any Capcom vs. game including Capcom vs. SNK 3. Terry finishes with "Torinitiiiiiiiii GEISAAAAAA!" Announcer: "Hyper Combo KO!"
Hyper Combo is a Marvel term isnt it? Im not sure but if im not mistaken its not used even in similar games like TvC. Anyways the term has no association to SF-esque crossovers like CvS and SFxT.
Suggestion: Evolution of a single move used by chars that share the same fighting style but with variations. Showing only the instances that are different to focus on the move's variations. Ex: the Srk done by all shotos, or the ninjutsu command grab done by all Bushinryu users.
@@LowksRicoso with Marvel 3, the art direction was more cartoonish in a way: the yellow hit sparks, the particles effects and the color palettes of the characters and stages seem heavily inspired by comic books or the capcom brand. Also, the animations just seem way smoother (for example compare the falling animations on the opponent after Iron Avenger, Nemesis just flies around like a paperweight, he’s way to high on the screen so the timing of the recovery seems off and his fall has no impact. MVCI tried to do this kinda more realistic, high gloss art style for everything and it just doesn’t come together well, I think the problems start there, the lack of attention to detail (for example the sound and visual design in MVC3 being cribbed from each character’s respective series) just makes MVCI come off as lackluster and just dull. idk, thats the best way I can explain it 😂
@@TheMourtallah it obviously doesn’t look as good as mvc3, but that don’t mean every character looks stupid. Some characters look even better(ryu). Also a lot of robot characters look decent. I admit characters like captain America looks dumb cuz of his small head, but that don’t mean everything does
MVCI’s Proton Cannon looks a lot better than the others (the cannon itself, NOT the laser). It’s sleeker and has a much more personalized color scheme.
Something about UMvC3 Iron Mans voice feels really forced Yet yhings like MvCI has the exact opposite issue. Like the VA just doesn't give a damn ....so I guess neither are really all that good
He was supposed to be in Marvel Superheroes vs SF and MvC1 but Capcom couldn't get the video game rights to the character. For MvC1, when Capcom heard if War Machine, they gave him Iron Man's move and a few new moves of his own like the War Destroyer super
I always hated how they made them talk more during the super moves, before it was just very quick like " PROTOM CANNON!" and thats it but now its like "GET READY! HERE IT COMES! IS GONNA HIT YOU!, HERE COMES THE BIG ONE! OMG HERE IT COMES! PROOOOOOTOOOOON CANNOOOOOOOON" its stupid and makes the game feel sloooow i like it before when the were more quicker to say the name of the attack
yeah, I think they need to put more emotion to their lines too. specially in MVCI ya know like "ok proton cannon..." vs " PrrOTOOON KENNOOOOON HAAAAAc!!!"
The evolution is impresive and very dynamic until MVCI, I can't remember haven't seen a downgrade of this level. Everything from the animation, to the voice acting, to effects and even the jokes and cringy pointless references to the MCU looks so dull, boring and awkward. Like they really didn't gave a fuck with that one.
