I guess im randomly asking but does anyone know a trick to get back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my login password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
@Malachi Raymond i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm trying it out now. Takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
I highly agree with your statement. I am a young man who plans to enlist in the Marine Corps soon, and with my Grandfather having served in the Korean War and being in both the Army and the Marine Corps, he taught me what a true man should be like. Earnestly, I give my gratitude for your father’s service. ~Freshman Marcus Delk of KFHS
Thanks, Antonio. I'll have to make sure to bookmark these ironing videos of yours so I can review them the next time I need to iron some clothes. I love when you teach us more than just style, but life skills as well.
Thank you. My husband is very particular on how he wants his pants ironed. I usually take them to the dry cleaners but at this time can't. He mentioned that he wanted his pockets ironed. I was...Huh? What? Now, I know how to iron his pockets. Also, I always pressed and glided on the pant. Is that ok, on jeans? Thank you for your tutorial. I appreciate it. I subscribed.
I swear by the gods of Gentleman-ness that Antonio is trying to change me! I hate ironing, but watching these videos about ironing, makes me go and iron my wardrobe right away, I sure feel hypnotized by now!! LOL. As always a good video. Well presented, and one thing that keeps ringing a bell in my head is the illustration of being well dressed, well groomed and well gentlmanned!! I am sure by now I have added 4 words to the English dictionary hahahah lol
Antonio, thank you for this video. I was always a jeans and chinos type of guy but am now getting into wool trousers the older I get. I am going to a Christmas party tomorrow and needed my trousers to look good. Your video to the rescue! Now they are sharply creased and looking good. They will have me feeling confident as well. Thanks again!
I've been waiting for this forever. I've always been worried about ruining my trousers. I will try this when I iron later this week. Thanks for the added boost of confidence!
I have to disagree on one point. A basic ironing board will give mediocre results. And if it is a mesh ironing board, with a thin cover, you WILL get the pattern of the mesh on your clothes when you iron them. A THICK padded cover is essential. Not only will it eliminate the mesh imprint, it will also hold the heat longer, and allow you to use more pressure when setting creases. It will also help if the board is nice and sturdy, with wide feet to prevent it rocking back and forth. Also, too high heat causes shine, more so than the actual back and forth motion. If you hold the iron in one spot for too long, you WILL get an imprint of the iron, especially if it is too hot. And I iron the pocket area from the inside, turning the trousers inside out, and lifting the pocket bag out of the way, and then iron the outer fabric from the INSIDE. You can also lay the pocket bag over the narrow end of the board, and iron it to get rid of wrinkles if need be.
The timing of this video is quite fitting. Just earlier today I was talking to my dad who, like me, hates ironing. But while I hate ironing shirts the most, he hates ironing pants more, which I simply couldn't understand. Discussing it, I quickly discovered it's because he wears creases and I wear flat fronts. Unfortunately, your tip about making sure you're using a clean iron comes a little late. Yesterday I had to borrow someone else's iron to get my favorite shirt ready. When I used the steam function, small black spots appeared on the shoulder (rust, I assume). I've learned my lesson, though: If you're using someone else's iron, always start with your least favorite clothing. Well, if you have any tips on getting them out, I'm all ears... Well, eyes, I guess! :D
Uncle Antonio how about ironing or fold T-SHIRT , V-SHIRT, Jean, sock and underwear.how hope you teach all of this and how to keep it nice. #my mom didn't teach me this so studying from you all Lol
Ironing your outfit makes huge differences. It can show other people how well you prep. It'll also show you are not lazy and most woman do see the difference between someone who iron and someone who doesn't.
Did not work. Perhaps this works for stuff that's already ironed or you already have a rough idea how but I wouldn't do this for noobs. What happens is when your ironing a leg the other side of the cloth folds up and you forge a crease as your removing another. This creates what's called an 'infinite loop'.
This is totally wrong. You should never ever, ever let the iron touch the cloth or you will make it shiny. Use a damp handkerchief between the iron and trousers.
I actually have been using a steamer since college and I have found it to be an amazing way to remove wrinkles from pants. I will admit it doesn't get clothes a crisp as ironing or pressing however it does remove wrinkles quite well and the set up is significantly faster than ironing
So...is he saying to iron your pants without putting them in the dryer at all? Seems like they'd be a little too wet. I like to hang dry a lot of my things to save them from the washer.
👍🏽Yes! Best VDO on ironing. All of the tips mentioned make this #1. You, sir, got this right compared to 99% of others that just didn't take the time to make sure to use a clean iron, a press cloth, to lift iron up-and-down instead of usual misinformation of gliding the iron over wool fabric, etc. 😊👏🏼👏🏼😊😊😊👏🏼👏🏼
The second 'pro tip' heloed me alot a few weeks ago. I always hated ironing my cloths and when I didnt I hated wearing a shirt that is "iron free" but still has small wrinkles. Doing everything at once made it so much more enjoyable.
You see, this is what I'm talking about. Good info that's straight to the point with useful information. I want to see more videos like this. Things like everyday tasks when taking care of yourself and clothing.
best buy is a Smart Iron : an iron that doesnt get hot and has no heat settings , ie one heat does all fabrics . The steam is powerful and there is little or no risk of marks . I learned to use an iron in the forces and the ladies are in awe at a guy who irons with style and class
