Kind of funny how most early heisei Ultra (before New Gen and Zero) have a very calm and slower paced opening filled with positive message, and then there's Max and Nexus. Nexus going full on rock, and Max going MAX MAX MAX.
Even though it's the first, technically, of superhero toku, for whatever reason it's also one of the last franchises that toku fans get into. But once you fall down that rabbit hole, there's no going back. Especially with the cross-cultural push Tsuburaya's had in recent years. Shuwatch!

@@ghostsimonriley1165 I see it a lot. Rider and sentai fans will gravitate away from Ultra, Ultra fans gravitate away from rider and sentai. I'm an enjoyer of both.
@@ghostsimonriley1165yeah kinda sad that Ultraman is very underrated especially outside of Asia even though the series is one of the 3 big pioneer when it came to TV Series tokusatsu.

@@ghostsimonriley1165 If she ever decides to give it a shot, I'd say the Z dub is a good place to start. Being a dub, you can watch it in a more casual manner than you would subs.
Eh no. Since she is too comfortable with Kamen Rider and Super Sentai, I personally would recommend her Nexus, Z, X or Geed (or maybe Orb). I would not recommend Trigger or Decker and even Blazar to her. Trigger was a shit show, Decker was ok but it is hard to get into if you are really new to the franchise. Blazar has a good start but it wont be able to make her hooked up to Ultraman.
