The 2019 Corvette is the final year for many things, front engine, manual transmission, and Grand Sport model. Under the hood is a 6.2L V8 pumping out 460HP & is mated to a 7-speed manual gearbox. On the outside the Grand Sport get the Z06 bodywork, unique wheels, and badging. On the inside the interior may not be at the same level as the new C8, but still has a ton of refinement. Is a C7 Corvette Grand Sport 7-speed manual the perfect sports car to buy?

When my Dad passed, he left this behind for me. You best believe I’m keeping it forever and in the best condition possible. This baby is only going up in value overtime as they release more automatics and electric vehicles… The C7 will always be iconic.

The C8 is a marvel, but its essentially a supercar. The C7 is the end of an era, as far as I'm concerned.

I just bought a pristine 2014 Z51. When I was a kid I had GTO'S. This car would trash them. I can just stand and admire it in my garage. I am a happy 72 yr old going on 18 with this.

I have a C7 Grand Sport. Red. Manual. Gr8 sound. Never lettin her go. I do not like anything about the C8. I also have a 64 Stingray. She is my wknd toy. C7 is my fun daily. Shes a keeper.

The ones you mentioned, even in the c6's have already been effected. Resale value has increased on them, which I'm not complaining. I've got a '10 GS Triple Black 6-speed 3LT convertible w/13,750 miles. Worth more now than it was a few years ago.

I definitely pressed pause on everything to watch this one ! I would have a problem finding any highway around here to ever use the 7th gear but Damn what a Real feeling that must be that is such a wicked ride.. Not for nothing Joe I gotta give you props man your constant content No Doubt the hardest working guy in the business and to incorporate Lori as cam lady it just works all the way around . Grew up around Vettes. Dad owned a detail shop and I fell in love with the C6 in elementary school, which was my dream car but when that C7 came out in 2014... Instantly became my dream car lol I’ll own a C7 Z06 one day. Last true Vette 🤞🏾

Thanks for another great Corvette review Joe. Clarification on the wheels/tires: Grand Sport (like Z06) uses Front 19x10, 285/30; Rear 20x12, 335/25. MUCH wider than base Stingray.

I rented one, a C7 Z51. I didn’t realize what power was until I drove that car!!! It was an automatic, and I would rather have a manual. That’s one of the disappointments of the C8. I’ve never enjoyed the insane power and handling like the C7. Great car. Great review. Thanks guys!🙏
