In this episode I take a look at a budget digital microscope and if it can be of any use for the scale modeller. I also look into improvements by making an adjustable stand using my PRUSA MINI 3D printer.

I have that same microscope and the same complaint about the shoddy stand. I may need to print one of these!

With a decent stand it gets much more versatile and useful. I use mine a lot now both for scalemodelling and electronics - and my son Gustav borrows it to examine insects :D I might hand it over to him and buy a slightly more expensive microscope... Thanks for watching!

I will keep it in mind the microscope so I can paint 1/35th scale faces! Good job making the stand for it.
