Historically, this is true. Compare the Federal Funds Rate to S&P 500 on the same chart and you will see when the rate goes down, there is a slight delay before going down or even an uptick in the S&P 500 before dropping in correalation with the FFR. Those bearish negative cycles last from 1-3 years. So yes Mike is right-historically this has happened. COVID being an excpetion due to inflow of Govt spending. (M2 I think). Great video Mike!

I just keep buying in my 401K. I do want a pullback but wish we had it earlier. I have mostly bought at all-time highs every month so far. Its ok though. Long term it will be a good investment.

The market seems a bit batshit right now. Way up, way down on any given day. Must be running on pure emotion right now. I wanted to buy in for the August influx of fiscal, but as it stands, I think I'm gonna stay on the sidelines and wait for a better set up

Mike, will rotation from money market funds and bonds into risk assets with interest rate cuts somewhat prop up the stock market?

Bank credit is up yoy which will fill the hole.

Who will be on the other side of the trade during such a liquidation if asset managers are the ones loosing Mike?

What if rates lower and private credit fills hole then we are in last 2 years of bull market setting us for credit crunch.
