With today's selection of non-alcoholic spirits, you can still indulge in some of your favorite cocktails during times when you don't want to have alcohol. There are many wonderful options. In this video, I decided to try a few different non-alcoholic gins to see if I could notice a difference between them and an alcohol version. The ethanol hitting my tongue was too obvious for me to mistake the version with alcohol vs the non-alcoholic, but I still enjoyed the flavor of the non-alcoholic versions. I would definitely enjoy drinking any of them on their own.

I personally like non-alcoholic drinks that don't taste literally like the alcohol, idk, just the bitter, burning taste isn't one I like, and having them alcohol-free lets me enjoy cocktails more (plus added benefit of being sober)

Why would you want to imitate the taste of ethanol?😂 Noone likes that, everyone drinks alcohol for the effect and the taste from the aroma other than the pure alcohol, but for the ethanol "taste"? No way If you drink non alcoholic cocktails the only thing limiting you is the money they cost in a bar

I just got a bartender/mixologist job at a high end bar in my city even though I’ve never been a bartender before, only home bar, but All I learned thru the years is because of This channel! The solution for alcohol-free cocktails lies in simple syrup recipes in which herbalism is utilized. Herbs have been used for centuries in teas & medicines 🫖🍵🧉. I'd suggest getting a book about the many applications of say rainforest 🌿🪴🌺 plants. One in particular is called Iporuru from Peru & Brazil. It help relax the muscles for yoga 🧘‍♀️ & helps with arthritis pain, but it has a bitter taste so it's ideal for simple syrup recipe. Another is Damiana from Mexico which is an aphrodisiac. So, if you added 1/4oz Iporuru syrup, 1/2 Damiana syrup, 1/4 oz Vanilla syrup, 1/4 oz Cinnamon syrup & mixed in cocktail shaker with ice and Maiskiy tea. Strain & serve chilled, you'd have a herbal cocktail which relaxes & excites the body. 😊👍

Non alcoholic is a great idea to scratch that itch but when you can't drink. I'm on hospital call a week or two a month and those days are ALWAYS when I need a drink but can't.
