I would say yes it is worth it and 100% is better with friends. You would have to run a server though if you want it to be just the two of you. Or you could both look to join the same server that someone else is hosting if you don’t mind their rules or settings. It does have performance issues, but they can mostly be solved with a few commands. Just likes like disabling the fog and clouds. but the UI updates, building updates, and new content make it worth the upgrade.
I have a dounbt, if i play ASE, is worth it playing right now? If yes, Which are the main differences or "things" that makes ASA be different from ASE to make it worth it?

@RougherBreaker ASE vs ASA Ark Survival Evolved • More Maps • More Creatures (Due to More Maps) • $35-$40 for the full bundle (All 6 story maps, and you get all free 6 non story maps for free). No need to buy anything else • Not getting any more updates • Performance is not great • Looks much older and bland one some maps • More Building freedom, but very clunky (items can mesh together, but not all pieces can snap together) Ark Survival Ascended • Less Maps and less overall creatures (so less content) (but remastered and looks much nicer), also each map has new creatures not available in ark survival evolved, by the time its fully released it will have far more creatures than ASE. • New updates coming for years to come. (each new map will get additional creatures). • They have DLCs now, so on top of buying the base game for $40 you also have to buy a $30 dlc if you want some additional content that was released. In my opinion that dlc is worth it, as it has so much that it brings to the game. • Building is significantly easier and way less stressful, its actually even fun. • Very big quality of life updates, UI updates, system updates, etc. ( this along makes it worth upgrading for) • performance is still rough, its definitely not optimized the way it should be. And a lot of the time you will need to enter a few different commands to make the game run smoother. Things like removing clouds and the fog, but the game still looks great and runs pretty well. I would say overall due to the updates the game will be getting, all the new content that will continue to come and updated quality of life changes, even though its not perfect in any way, I would say ASA is worth the upgrade. Also there is wild baby dinos and they add a fun element to the game.
Hi i have rtx 4070 laptop and i can run ASA on high settings 1080p with 60 fps meanwhile i have 60+ fps + epic settings on ASE should i play ASE or ASA i can’t decide it
If you can get a solid 60+fps then ASA is worth it. They have just added so many quality of life changes to ASA that it has so much more to offer. The only downside I could see would be the content, as there is only 3 maps so far. However, I am sure that could keep you plenty busy, as you have access to a lot of new great mods through the mod store which is installed pre built into ASA.
Yeah there is quite a few. That’s why I like to mix it up. As long as I don’t play it everyday all day then I enjoy it a lot. when I grind Ark hard though for like a week straight those crashes catch up to you 😂
Wth is this review ur giving tutorial or doing a review I tought it will be good after 1min when u started with better graphics but than u started doing a guide and only info I got is lags crashes better graphics&building u said about only 2 new taming mechanics and that's all nothing about other NEW mechanics
Reflecting back on the video I can definitely see the opportunities you mentioned. I was trying to point out everything the game has to offer. However, to your point there was some elements that were strictly review, but then the review almost became an overview of the game as a whole. Almost as if I was saying what the game was to someone who knew absolutely nothing about Ark, versus some of the more intricate details that more experienced Ark players would want to know. I’ll remember this feedback next time when I do a review. To be more specific and detailed with the review aspects and less of introducing someone to the game. I agree with that. If you have to upgrade your entire set up to play the game then it’s not worth it at all. If you needed to upgrade your setup because it’s dated and can’t run next gen games, and Ark was one of those games then yes it’s worth it. Moral of the story, a specific game shouldn’t be the rest you have to dish out money to play it. It should play just like other games, unless modded then that’s on you lol 😂
@@ChaosBearGaming I have a current gen AMD setup, but still using the 3060 12gb, which is ofc a bottle neck. Just did not feel like it was a good time to upgrade the gpu until now. Waiting for the 50xx launch, maybe...but I'm not in a rush. Plenty good games that I can play with this.
@@aboomination897 yeah you shouldn’t have to upgrade just for 1 game and to your point there is plenty of great games out there 😀 I heard Elden ring shadow of the red tree is great. I haven’t gotten around to the dlc as I have been busy with life, work, kids, the channel, but definitely worth looking at if you’re into that type of game.
Yeah there’s quite a few settings that need adjusted, at least on console. Then once they are adjusted it runs a lot better. Helpfully they further optimize it. Because there is nothing else quite like it. I am sorry to hear you haven’t been able to play. Or that it was a bad experience.
@@ChaosBearGaming I imagine you made the game look very good for the video specifically, right? Or do you run it like that while you're playing? What settings do you usually change to get the great visuals but maintain performance?
I certainly optimized certain aspects of the game to make the video look as clean as It did. There are specific elements that I do alter that do improve my overall performance when playing regularly. I hadn’t considered make a guide on that, but I can certainly start working on video to go over that. Thanks for the feedback and question. I really appreciate it.
