Is Bora-Hansgrohe Really The RIGHT CHOICE For Primož Roglič? 

It's not just Jumbo Visma that made Roglič superstar it's also Roglič who made visma a super team. He was their first star.

Being Dutch, I still hope for succes for Primoz even at the cost of the Dutch team TJV

This will be one of the most exciting TDF at all. Four drivers about the same Opportunities occur when uninjured next year. The one with the biggest Luck will win. I hope it will Primoz Roglič.

Primoz has his chance again, hope he can get it, will be hard with Pog and Ving.

He will be more than fine. The thing is he is also taking the coach with him. That will hurt wout. That will hurt the entire team. Realistically it is great for him and greater for us. The TDF should get a regular TT stage rather than that gc TT from last year. That will draw remco out and we then get four serious contenders. Then Jonas cat hide from the wind all tour and force him to race.

Roglic has only a few years left as a legitimate Tour contender. He needed a team that could offer him undisputed leadership, so Jumbo, UAE, and Soudal were unsuitable. That really left only Bora and INEOS with a strong enough team of support riders to target a Tour win. I think either could get him into a position where he can win it if he is strong enough.

Hopefully, his crash curse ends with the transfer. That's the only thing that has been haunting him ever since.

It's a chance he has created for himself. Bora is one of the best teams.

Bora is a good fit and the contract length is about right (3 years would also have been ok).

He is brilliant in one week races, but can't really see him fighting for the Tour against Vingo and Pogi. Last great contract for him.

What worries me about Primoz going to Bora is the sponsor Specialized, they will of course mess with his bike positioning as they always do wherever they go and it's not always to the benefit of the riders. Hopefully they won't tweak him too much, if it's not broke don't fix it!

I'm Italian then I hope a Giro with Pogacar and Van Aert as Visma's captain (Il Giro 2024 is very suitable for both). Then TdF for Primoz. Pogi is only 25, he has a lot of years to re-win the Tour.

It’s hard to accept that you’re no longer the best rider on the team and everything that comes with that. He could win the tour but “everything” will need to align up for him to do it.

Bora needs to bolster their roster in support.

Your critique on Chris Froome is showing you don’t understand why they chose him. Bora will be a very good team for Roglič.

Roglic would not have the total support at JV. Wout van Aert has his own agenda and Vingegaard is number one for the tdf. BH will be a way better prospect to win the TDF than JV!

Rogliz is his own worst enemy. He seems to have a serious crash every TdF which impacts his chances of victory significantly. I don't think the move to Torah is going to bear the fruit for which he is seeking.

Probably roglic should not count on vlasov, vlasov is a man riding for his own ambitions; Last racing day in the past Vuelta he attacked his own teammate (Cian) who was standing before him in the overall classification. Probably he didnt wannated to end behind a 19year old kid from his own team . His action gived team BORA somme negative feelings. But roglic will have plenty of riders who will help him. Adleast if the bora riders accept him in the group ;-) . The grenadiers would also have been a good choise for sure.

Ha, Vlasov will not work for another teammate

Bora has one missing ingredient which is why Primoz won't win the tour and that missing ingredient is Sepp Kuss. Sepp has guided Primoz through all 4 of his grand tour victories. Bora simply does have have a rider the quality of Sepp Kuss to help guide Primoz in the mountains and who does not have GC aspirations of his own

Primos definitely changed the sport with this move. Jonas will not be able to be as competitive as he is now without Roglic as his teammate. Jonas’s no longer will train with the third best rider currently and top 10 rider ever. Im sure UAE team is celebrating!

Only good thing in Primož's move to Bora is more money for him. Everything else is 2 steps back for him. Winning Grand Tour will be like a miracle.
